Under new management. As of my last visit, also lots under renovation. Restrooms and showers were closed temporarily, the docks were not populated with boats and could also use some fixing. There's some pizza, nice little pizza spot. Likely better once the season kicks into gear.Walkability: Plenty of walkable areas. Also golf carts

We booked this for two nights for the eclipse. The location is great! I originally found the site on HipCamp where it says that all back in sites have picnic tables and implies that they have a fire pit as well. I ended up booking directly since I had questions. On the day of arrival we were arriving after the store closed so we got a call with checkin instructions. On the call I asked a question about firewood which the man kindly answered. When we got there, picked up our checkin instructions and map and found our site it was a gravel patch barely the width of our van between 4 trees, no fire pit and no picnic table. We were also confused as to why the person we spoke to hours earlier on the phone didn't say we didn't have a fire pit when we asked about firewood.I called their number and left a message asking to speak with someone about it, since we had been given the impression there was at least a picnic table. They never called back. Additionally the toilets that were closest to us were closed "for renovations" and the ground around them soaking wet, but this was not marked on the map we were given or listed anywhere. Ultimately since all we could do was sit in our van we left a day early and didn't bother to spend the second night. It's two days later and I still have not received a call back from them and don't expect one.Ultimately the place looks like it's not really for one or two night stays although they advertise that. It seems like it's more for seasonal campers. The one plus, besides location, is that everyone we met there was friendly.

This was the first year with new owners and management. Overall, we love the campground and are looking forward to many years here however, there have been some changes that I know many people including us are not fond of. Which is the reason for the 3 stars. First, the seasonal rate increase. While we appreciate the gradual increase for us existing campers, the amount it’s going up to is a bit extreme in my opinion compared to what we were at with the previous owners. Also, the jumping pillow hasn’t been replaced and that was a huge hit with the kids. With the increase rate, I feel the jumping pillow should be replaced. The store was open sporadic hours and electric readings were not done on consistent dates each month. Again overall we love the campground and just stick to our group to relax and have a good time.

Bedford Creek was extremely accommodating of our stay! We had a very small quick wedding and reserved the pavilion for the reception which turned out perfect! We stayed in the Ozark Cabin which was spotless and beautiful on the inside and outside! All the staff and guests we encountered were sure to wish us Congrats! We felt like home and plan to return every year!!

Quaint camp ground right on the canal well maintained. Owners are friendly and accommodating. We had water and electric hook ups. Site was nearly level.Nearby activities: Close to Montezuma wineries. Fat frog red is the best.

Great experience all the way around. We started the rental process back in March. The owners were very responsive every time I called. They did a great job explaining the process and giving us a navigation briefing before heading out. We had a blast. Returning the boat couldn't have been easier! We hope to return next year!

Unfortunately I have to leave one star. This campground has went from great to terrible the last couple years. Dues are not used for maintenance or repairs. The beach is In very bad condition. The management is absolutely terrible. They don't like seasonal campers. They will boot you after two years. Ask all the seasonal renters that have been kicked out after decades of payment. Steer clear so I don't have to tell you I told you so.

We have been 2 years in a row now and enjoyed it so much we came back. Last year was not as busy and we like that. This year it was pretty busy and very loud in the evening, people were partying right up until quiet hours at 11pm. Its great they allow golf carts but can also be super annoying when they drive past your site all night blinding you while sitting by the fire. The noise late at night and the constant blinding by the golf carts would be my only complaints. The beach area is fabulous and LOVE how pet friendly this campground is. The store in site and pizza and ice cream shop is a bonus as well.

We love this place! It is one of the best campgrounds that we stay at! The owners, Gerry & Tammy, are great people and are always friendly and helpful. The beach there is awesome, and the lake water clear! There are always activities for everyone. They have a well stocked store, (and soft serve and hard ice cream) and their on site pizza shop has the best pizza. The sites are spacious, easy in, easy out. The prices for their campsites are more than reasonable. The sunsets are the best around! We really recommend this campground!

This is long overdue but finally getting around to it. We had rented a pontoon boat for the day. It didn’t work properly and we couldn’t tell until we spent 1/2 hour driving it out of the chanel and tried to actually give it power. We are very familiar with boats and my husband tried everything he could think of and couldn’t get it to move faster than 5mph. We then brought it back and had to search for someone and finally was told they would refund our money. That never happened. We then had to wait another 1/2 hour to get picked up because we had been dropped off to get the boat. It was a big waste of time for ourselves and our family, driving back and forth twice. I even called and left messages and nothing was resolved.

With the water looking a little rough, the owner was sure to bring us to the water and give us plenty of information so we could make an informed decision on whether or not to rent a pontoon boat These guys are doing it right. The boats we rented where clean, and good to go. Keep up the good work!

We got there bike touring so early in the season they were not even open but the owner was there and he was kind enough to show us around and offer us options that fitted our needs. They offer mostly big campers sites but also a few tent sites and cabins. Good wifi, and maintenance, has everything you need and maybe a few small dogs too many.

We are new to this campground since August and we have been spending alot of our summer here. My kids love the beach and playground areas. There is big bounce pad that all the campground kids use that is great too. Im in love with the sunsets and would go to the beach to get my pictures almost every night. Its Definitely worth the drive for us. Just past Watertown

We just got back from a big family camping trip for the July 4th long weekend. We are from Ontario so we were not sure what to expect. Yes it was VERY busy and VERY packed but fun never the less. There were lot's of activities to keep the kids busy and the prices of extra things such as the bounce pillow are very reasonable. We can not say enough good things about the owners. They will go way out of there way to make sure you are comfortable, they are beyond friendly.The bathrooms could be a little cleaner and hand soap is needed but it was a long weekend and very busy. The beach is VERY small so don't go expecting to have lot's of room.We look forward to going back again but not on a long weekend so we can hopefully have a little more space on our site to move around.Over all a wonderful place to take your family and we will be back for sure.

I grew up on this camp ground my grandfather owned a home right off the campground path and I have the best childhood memories. The seasonal campers would return year after year. I spent over 25 summers hanging out on the private beach and riding my bike to buy sparklers and candy. Everyone was always happy and having a great time.

Have been going to this place for a long time. Usually super chill and laid back. This time guy running the shop was rushing us and following us the entire time. Felt very pressured to hurry up. Trying to have a great time with some friends and turned into him telling us to pick up the pace and skip the last hole! I just paid you 20 bucks for what.....? Very unprofessional.... terrible customer service and likely the very last time I will be back. I can find someplace else that treat their customers with some respect!

Haven't camped there yet. But we rented kayaks and a pedal boat for the kids and us. We had a wonderful day. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful campground. Will be going back.

Definitely a place to go if you want to forget we're in the midst of a pandemic. No masking at all on campers or employees, no social distancing, no gloves (even while serving food). Also, not as clean as we were expecting. I want to continue to be active and as social as is possible during this time, but not at the expense of my health and the health of our community. This place is a Covid-19 outbreak waiting to happen! Please have some respect for our healthcare heroes and their families, and take the steps necessary to stay as safe as possible. These people are out only to make money during this time. No care for the health of their visitors and our community.

This is our 4th season there, for us close to home, campers r for the most part very friendly, family oriented. Gd pizza plus right in camp ground. Access to a beach rite on grounds. No complaints

Though the young lady at the store was very friendly, I felt the website was a tad deceptive. You have to pay extra for wifi, the cable does not work and it appears to be a place where folks rent seasonally, consequently there are parts that are not well maintained. The beach is practically non existent and the marina is as well. As someone who was looking forward to all the amenities advertised, I felt a bit taken advantaged of.

Offers campsites for camper/tent(s). They do offer different sized cabins to rent. As a camper you have access to the private beach. They have a a small store: you can get a day pass for pedal cars/boat; jumpy pad/mini golf area. etc. Lots of folks leave their campers there in the winter time for a seasonal fee. They will winterize it

Been there 10 years love the place an my camp family we got married in the beach this past June 29 2021 and if it wasn't for our camping family decorating and helping us prepare for our special day and for the campground allowing it itwas an amazing day we had a dj a food truck and got alot nice gifts an 700 in cash and our family camp friend renee even married us if it was not for them all we would not of had a great reception an jerry came down to congrlate us from his family ty again love Bedford creek

I reluctantly leave 1 star,after 17 years of camping,asked to leave on just 2 weeks time,after winterizing and paying next years deposit.our camper isn't fancy enough for the new crooks that are buying this place and raising the rent.Its now 10 yrs or newer for your camper.Next it will be no kids or pets because its not a campground they want its a RV Resourt.

We wife and I have camped there going on 15 years starting this year. Great place to camp. We have fishing, Boating, Swimming and campfires and good food and company.
