Molly was so awesome!! I am newer to wine and she explained a lot. I trusted her to pick out the wine based on my tastes. She was spot on! She also went out of her way to make me a list of other places to visit! This was the best tasting I've ever had. The atmosphere was fun and the cat enjoyed some company. I'd highly recommend stopping in!!

Comfortable, relaxed vibe at Barnstormer. Our party enjoyed the tasting and atmosphere here. The wines were delicious, and the references to air travel were unique and interesting. Definitely worth a stop on a tour of the area.

Highly recommend putting Barnstormer Winery in Rock Stream, New York on Seneca Lake on your summer bucket list adventure! You’ll be greeted by Bailey, the resident barn cat, adorable! Molly & Madison are two friendly faces that made the experience and hospitality phenomenal!! The environment, quality wine and aesthetic is something Scott has worked so hard at for years, I promise you will not be disappointed! My favorite was the riesling wine and I loved seeing all the dogs there, so fun!!

Don't let the outside of Barnstormer fool you. It is not a rustic barn, but rather a large space with lots to check out, including some great wines. We were fortunate enough to be able to sit and relax as a small group in the Aviator Lounge. Hanna took care of us and was pleasant and knew her wines. We tried a flight which we enjoyed. The mulled wine would be great with a Thanksgiving dinner etc. They sell a kit and a free sample came with our tasting (warm, smelled great and perfect for the fall season). The decor was pretty cool (aviation themed).

Our bachelorette group loved stopping in for a tasting at the Barnstormer! We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and Molly made sure we were well taken care of by sharing her knowledge of wine, and by making recommendations around the Seneca Lake area. We highly recommend tasting here!

I had a great time at Barnstormer Winery and absolutely loved the vibes there. The atmosphere was inviting and charming, setting the perfect tone for an enjoyable experience. While the wine was good, I did find it to be pricier compared to other wineries, even for a tasting.Nonetheless, the staff impressed me with their deep knowledge of the wines, making the tasting informative and engaging. One highlight of my visit was the music they offered on Tuesdays from 5-8. The outdoor setup with live music created a fantastic ambiance that added to the overall enjoyment.I must mention, though, that Barnstormer Winery was one of the more expensive tasting options during my stay, and to my slight disappointment, the pours were quite small. Despite this minor setback, the overall experience was positive, thanks to the delightful vibes, knowledgeable staff, and the fantastic outdoor music setup.

LOVED this place! Stopped in to do the tasting on a rainy day it was excellent, choice of 3 tastings for $12. Madisun was absolutely lovely. We decided to go back again the next day for live music and food on Tuesday night. Bought a few things from the gift shop and took home some wine. We will definitely come back when we are back in the area. Thank you!

Wow, just wow! This very unassuming winery delivers on all fronts! Great wines (our favorites were the dry rose, bubbly Riesling and departure red blend), great music (Mumford, Lumineers, etc.), friendly staff that was very knowledgeable and even offered our kids popsicles!, and great ambiance with a welcoming bar and cozy spots to sip. Their merchandise was also top notch and super practical unlike many other wineries. It was November so we didn’t get to experience outside but the grounds look gorgeous and great for kids and pups to roam in the summer. This might be our favorite winery. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a winery which offered food and was open a little later. We happened to find Barnstormer on a Tuesday open until 8pm. We did a wine tasting with Madisun, who was awesome and very knowledgeable about their products. We stayed for happy hour and had delicious food from Dean Lane Food who was onsite making Gyros and other great choices. Barnstormer also had live music and plenty of room to sit outside and listen. It was a beautiful night listening to music, playing corn hole, and sitting near the fire. I can see why they get such great reviews. We will recommend to friends for sure!

Wonderful experience! Out of all the wineries we visited this past weekend Barnstormer was our favorite. Welcoming atmosphere and cozy seating area for your tasting. Art was very personable and knowledgeable and really made our time there very enjoyable. Delicious wine. We bought 4 bottles. We'll definitely be back.

We came across this lovely winery while exploring the Seneca Lake area of the Finger Lakes. We were promptly greeted by Kelly. She was great, which is no surprise seeing she is a fellow Pittsburgh Steelers fan - some of the best people are Steelers fans and she was great...Anyway, the place is lovely and from what I understand, was recently expanded. We went to several wineries in the region and this place had the best wine of them all. This particular vintage was a little pricy, but if you want to have the finer things in life, you need to step up and pay a little extra.FYI, the wine the Mrs. chose was a Riesling labeled N6679P part of a 2020 Limited Production series. It is preferred to have a reservation; however, they were able to accommodate us, and we felt very comfortable there.Getting in and out was fairly easy. I would definitely recommend this winery if you are in the area and wish to try some great wines.

Exceptional location, service and atmosphere. Planned my proposal a couples weeks in advanced with Kelly. She was extremely helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed a wine tasting coupled with a charcuterie board. After the tasting is when I made the proposal. Kelly then presented us with our own personalized labeled bottle to take with us along other souvenirs. The quiet atmosphere and warm interior was exactly what me and my now fiancée wanted.

We absolutely loved the tasting here. The hospitality was outstanding! The manager of the tasting was the most knowledgeable and engaging of the hundreds of tastings we have done. The owner was likewise engaging and personable. The wines were varied and sure to satisfy your palate. The tawny port was top notch! Well worth the stop.

Wonderful experience! The wines were fantastic, excellent selection of dry whites. Get a tasting with Art, who does a great job describing the wines, providing recommendations, and making you feel welcome. They did an excellent job with COVID practices. I love the vintage airplane theme and tie in with the ownership family history. Artwork is also a great touch. Highly recommend! Favorites were the semi-dry Riesling and Port.

Very cute place, loved the atmosphere. Great tasting dry riesling. Pay per tasting per glass, small batches of wine more expensive per bottle

My fiancé and I absolutely loved this winery. We stopped in on a whim on our motorcycle trip and had the best charcuterie board. We still talk about it regularly… we definitely hope to make it back to Barnstormer again when we get back up to the area. Wine was also great and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

My wife and totally enjoyed our tasting experience and the wine. Art was spot on with descriptions, and met us with warmth and kindness. The seated tasting was very comfortable. Art's knowledge of the wine trail showed through as he was helping a couple seated next to us with advice as where to eat, shop and sip. Highly recommend a trip to Barnstormer.

We walked in and were immediately sat at an adorable tasting table for two - starting with complimentary bubbles was a great touch! Wonderful peppery red wines but also a lot of options from a tasting perspective! Grounds out back are beautiful and relaxing on a sunny day! If you have a larger group I’m sure they could accommodate you, but I’d suggest a reservation if it’s possible!

Well I spent a week here one day ..... At least that is what it felt like ... the wine is not bad but the server went on for at least 5 minutes between every tasting :( This was not what I am used to and seemed Very Slow and frustrating :( otherwise cool place and airplane theme.

We absolute LOVED Barnstormer winery. Taylor provided an incredible experience; we were so lucky to have met her and had the chance to chat about her background and her extensive experience in the industry. Barnstormer is an amazing space, with fantastic wine, and it was a wonderful place to kick off our tour of the Finger Lakes. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to go back!

We came to Barnstormer Winery on 7/30 for a tasting. The space is small and unassuming from the outside, lovely inside, with a tasting area set up with comfy chairs around a cozy wood stove fireplace. There was also some outdoor seating space set up, but we sat inside. Our tasting guide (didn't catch his name), in addition to being incredibly knowledgeable about wines and the region in general, also teaches at Ithaca College. The wines were delicious and we loved that our guide really took the time to explain each wine to us, how it was made, and where it came from. He clearly is passionate about wine and made us excited about each one as he poured it with his excellent and exuberant descriptions. He also chatted a bit with us about the region and encouraged guests to chat with each other, making the experience even more inviting and interesting. He gave us a great dinner recommendation, which we took, and enjoyed very much. There were two other women assisting with the tastings who were equally attentive and accommodating. We got into a lengthy conversation with another couple tasting at the same time as us and lost track of time enjoying our wines and chatting, eventually running over closing time, and the staff simply continued on, cleaning and closing up without saying anything to us or even giving us a look for overstaying our welcome (apologies to the staff!). We did the dry flight (flight #1) and liked all of the wines. It was unusual to see a sangiovese in this area - the rose they made from this grape was quite tasty. The sip of port provided at the end of the tasting was also surprisingly delicious (we're not usually fans of dessert wines). This winery is a must-visit when in the area for sure!

This is my favorite winery. I live in the Philly area but we go to FLX about once every quarter and we spend time at this place. Great atmosphere; best staff (shoutout to Kelly and Art)…I forget the lady’s name who used to be a teacher but she rules too - she was our first bartender and the reason we came back a second time. There are games outback and plenty of ways to enjoy your company. Also, every wine is fantastic. Jenny Red is the most drinkable wine on Earth; Nosedive port is something special (is the secret ingredient ground up unicorn horns? Idk but it’s definitely magic); Cab Sauv is great with meats and pizza; Blaufrankish too! Barnstormer gets an 11/10. Go here!
