I want to make a special mention about a wonderful employee, Paul.I couldn’t get into my car today and my phone was locked inside so I couldn’t even make a call. He was on his lunch break, made a call to my insurance carrier from his phone, and waited until he was sure they were coming to help me before he would eat. When I offered to give him money, he so kindly said, please just do this for someone else if you see they’re in need.Once I was able to get back in my car, he was at the end of his break and came back to check all was ok. I stated I really wished he would take the money, he still kindly refused. He never made me feel like I was a burden and was just such an amazing gift of a person. I hope the universe is always as wonderful to him as he truly deserves.

This store is put together very well. I enjoy going in each week to see their new selection of limited time products. If you are a shop-a-holic like myself, be careful of their middle section. It is addictive. Very clean store inside and outside and very well stocked. The associates are super friendly and helpful. Fresh produce unlike the local supermarkets. You can't beat the prices for such quality products. A few of my favorite finds. Each one well under $10!!

Same as all other lidls but their fruit section is lacking, produce not super fresh customer service is lacking. Takr the extra 15 minutes and go to Lidl in Westhampton or Aldi down the street off route 58.

This review is long over due. I’m recognizing Tom who is always taking care of some job whether it be cashier, stock, coming in from break… he’s very vigilant and accommodating. He is such a hard worker but never seems stressed, I admire that.

Love this store as well as Aldi’s. Made ground beef (93%) with Teriyaki Vegetables plus Portabella mushrooms and Salsa ( add more spices from my pantry). Total meal feeds three. Will put it over Lidl’s regular couscous. With discounts each serving will cost $1.00 per person.

Wonderful store. Was visiting in SC and was just so impressed with the assortment ,the low prices, the name brands, etc. .. wish they would locate in MA! They are a German, family owned company, vowing to keep prices low on over 100 products that American families want, in this disastrous economy...boasting a family of up to 10 for Thanksgiving dinner can keep the cost below $30.00. Incredible and big hearted!

So, I didn't believe the advertising. I was wrong. Organized, well laid out, logical products with Seasonal Items& specials - great varieties and price on produce, meats, condiments - how about a dozen eggs for 3$ or less- BASICALLY?? You name it& you'reWINNING!

Just shopped at the Riverhead NY store and was blown away by the service of Daniel, the supervisor. He was knowledgeable, super friendly, efficient, and all around a pleasure! I wish all businesses could be run by ppl like him!! 10⭐️!!!

The prices are terrific and the produce is great , along with thee meat's, and canned food . Dog food and cat food , treats. Refrigerated stuff like milk, half and half, bacon, sausage. Coffee , and a bakery. Terrific

I went in out of curiosity. I've gone back because they have the goods. Not a lot of name brand stuff, but their store quality stuff is as good as any national brand. I have been a shick or Wilkinson sword blade man for my razors since I started shaving I tried their store brand razorhandle and blades and I'll never go back. Less than half the cost of the other two and shaves better. Peanuts, salsa chips other stuff store brand really up to snuff. Produce is very fresh there's staff everywhere if you're looking for something or I have a question and the prices are good. I also got floor mats for my truck that I've seen in other stores for $40 or more for $9.99. Go check it out.

Friendly staff but not at the bakery department, I told the young lady they were out of croissants and she yelled at me saying that's all for the day, it was only noon. She we should not had yelled at me for asking a simple question. She was a young Hispanic young lady.

Daniel the supervisor really made my mom and my day today. He was very friendly and we will be sure to choose Lidl in the future it was a very welcoming experience.

Today 8/17 around 8:30am -9am my mother went to this store and was charged double for each One item she bought when realizing they’ve made a mistake she went right to the cashier (a short heavy set women with glasses)who was the one that charged her and let her know the mistake she made in a respectful manner, The women state “you too?” And got very angry and my mother said yes you charged me double for everything. The women walked off and left my mother there completely ignored another gentleman with blueberries wasn’t given change and was also ignored when my mother got the manager and explained what happened he didn’t even care nor apologize. It’s sad that people with such rude character work in a place that deals with people it’s not fair to us as costumers that we can’t even shop in peace in a happy friendly environment

Went to the Grand opening. Some fun giveaways to please the crowd. Found some well priced goodies amongst the huge inventory. This is a fun place to shop for novelty goods but will not replace the major big box grocery stores (ie. Shop Rite, Stop & Shop, as these chains have a better selection of name brand items. Also was disappointed by the limited availability of organic produce at Lidl.

I tried to return an item that didn't taste good. I purchased other items and wanted to return the hummus first and apply it to other items but the cashier wouldn't do it that way. Her ring up my items and mage me pay for them and the n refunded my return. They're was no double back?! Don't know why!

I used to like the products. Bakery is good. Meat is good. It's not my go to supermarket but I do use it occasionally. I was disappointed this time. The dairy was dated only a week away. Many empty shelves.

This store is an unacceptable "replacement" for Best Yet Market. Riverhead has lost a fresh deli, a fresh butcher, fresh produce, and a great selection of products--all for an assortment of poor quality, no-name products and rotten produce. The sale brochures are consistently fraudulent because the Riverhead store never has sale items and seems to specialize in stocking mostly empty shelves! Customer service? None whatsoever. Not recommended.

Haven't come across a Lidl I don't like. This one is a good one. Fully stocked, produce was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bakery department has fresh items. Will definitely shop here again.

I went against my better judgment and went to lidl for a sale on salmon 4.49 lb. Great price right? Well, there was none. I grabbed what I thought was the right salmon, oh no, these were the 10oz package....hey buddy, different price. I can't stand Lidl. Good bread but that's about it. They s"&k

Products are great, on that note, when did cashier stop bagging,stop offering to bag or help find bags, I'm gonna give the old speech, 20years ago I worked at stop and shop for 6.50 an hr as a cashier and you had to bag or make an attempt, I know inflation your gonna get paid more but it's like every cashier I been to in this store is allergic to bags, I'm still an able body but I witness a couple of my food runs people older then me packing there own bags and look like they needed help, I just want calcification are they supposed to help and offer to bag or are they not bagging, stop and shop and shop rite still help and offer atleast in riverhead
