Just received my box of 4 Tinfoil barbs. They were packaged perfectly and arrived in amazing condition. As of now, they look like tiny guppies in my 125 gallon tank but soon, they will grow quite large and won't be so hard to spot. I have been looking for a long time for these fish and am so glad I have them now. Thank you!

I ordered a batch of 12 African Cichlids to my pre established 55 gallon tank which had 4 Mbunas I had grown out for over a year. 2 weeks after adding the Cichlids, they all developed red spots and shortly after, began to perish one by one. Within a week all 12 cichlids I purchased plus the 4 I already had all died. I checked the PH and everything was fine. I let them know about what happened and they put the blame on me, saying my water parameters were wrong. I am highly dissatisfied and would highly recommend any other business for purchasing fish.

I ordered a batch of 5 African Cichlids. All arrived alive and are very healthy. They were very stressed from the shipping, but within an hour of being in my tank, all were doing very well and look great. I will buy more fish from them.

This is my first time ordering from them , I’m not sure what the issue is but I’ve lost 2 fish , I ordered 5 ob cichlids and five blue peacock cichlids and with the deal they gave me two OB cichlids for free. This morning I woke up and one of them was upside down with a bite taking out of it and then today when I got home 1 was swimming funny. Not sure if it was from aggression or because they are super sensitive but I removed the last three blue peacocks that I have and put them in my 75 gallon tank and left the seven ob peacocks in my 55 gallon. I thought they would have been OK but maybe I was wrong. Just kind of sucks the first time you ever buy fish online and they just start dying even though I had double triple check my water before I ever put them in there . The ob peacocks are doing wonderful but I was really excited about my blue peacocks . Will probably go through a local fish store next time . They are only 2inch fish but still even though I followed the instructions on acclimating they still are dieing , remember this tank was empty and I was going to use the 55 gallon till they were bigger and then move them all to the empty 75gallon . If I was you , just buy your fish from a store that guarantees the fish are healthy. I will say now that the others are separate from the ob peacock cichlids, and if they die, then it’s definitely there fault but fingers crossed 🤞I have now lost 2 more fish , I do not recommend that you buy from there , go to your local fish store I also have another that looks very sick , do not buy from them

I visited the iFish store in person today to pick up a dozen African cichlids for a new 75 gallon tank that I set up. I don’t know if I was more impressed with the customer service, the huge selection of fish or the fantastic prices. It was most likely the combination of all attributes! Not to mention that the facility was clean, organized and very easy to find. I can’t wait to go back and get another 12 for my new tank. Thank you iFish store for getting my new hobby off to a great start

I just got my new Fish from iFish. My whole experience was great! I ordered fish on a website with clear description of the size and trype of the fish. I ordered 4 inch red and white sarasa type. I been hunting for a red color gold fish long time in local stores of San Francisco and didn't had any luck. So I decided to order online. After I purchased my fish , which was 7-8$ in total, I had to pay shipping which is obviously would be more expensive then fish, but I knew it. I picked 2 days delivery. After I submitted my order I got confirmation email. And suddenly remember to indicate important things to look for in a fish I desire to have. So I sent an email to the company with follow up update about desired fish I would like to have. Wich is : mostly red, smaller size with a fluffy tail. I explained that it's my first time buying online and I am existed and nervous. I was quite surprised to get response by next morning from a company that they understand my request and willing to help me out and do all possible to get desired type of fish. Then I had to wait about 5 days before my fish get sent to me. Wich again, I got an email notification about it. And right 2 days after I got my fish I red some reviews about it's helping to take a video and pictures of opening the box with fish to make sure it's not dead one and in good condition , Wich I followed. And I was extremely happy to see my new Baby fish super active and healthy in my box. It looks exactly like I desired. Right size, long fluffy tail, mostly Red color. I fall in love right away. And I followed very carefully all instructions about acclimate the fish to my aquarium . I will add pictures of my new happy baby to this review. I am extremely happy with my purchase and thank you so much iFish for amazing experience and beautiful fish in my aquarium. +ReP. Definitely recommend!

Been buying discus for the past three years from here. I bought two random discus from ifish store several months apart and within the last year they decided to mate in a community tank with other discus. So I guess that’s as natural as it gets hahaha. Now I have lil baby fry’s and will start the process of getting them in another tank soon.

I chose these guys for my first time purchasing live fish online and they did not disappoint! I bought 8 juvenile discus fish and they all arrived on my doorstep alive and in great shape. They were packed safely and came with thorough instructions on acclimating them to their new tank. A month later they are growing and thriving and are a joy to behold.

I am extremely happy with my fish. I ordered 7 cichlids 1 month ago. All arrived alive and in clean water (no poo in the bags). This was my first time ordering fish online. Came in person to this establishment to buy some fish. The in-person “store” isn’t your conventional fish store.. I’d say it’s more of a warehouse that just allows people to go in person out of interest to expand their reach into the pet store market. The store itself was dirty, there was water on the floors all over the place, and there isn’t even a sign outside there. My actual review is based on the service and the fish themselves. Some of the fish do look in sad conditions but many of them look great and they have a huge selection of fish! There isn’t really “service” as they just tell you to grab a net and a plastic jar and catch the fish you want. (I got some African cichlids - 5 small ones for 30 bucks) Once you have selected the fish you want, they’ll bag it up for you. Side note: for in person purchases it’s cash only but the prices are super affordable.

Bought 12 cichlids. Packaged perfectly, had a heat package to ensure warmth, healthy, good color, acclimated fast and within an hour were all free swimming and happy. I have a 600 gal garden pond i built set up for cichlids. Perfectly balanced water in south florida.

I've ordered 2 blue but changed my mind weeks later in hopes of changing order. I called and the lady who answered the phone was very helpful, nice, and informative. She helped me change my order to 10 2" variety and i have to say I am completely satisfied. All 10 fish arrived alive and healthy. A few began eating on day one and ALL began eating on day two. Adapted with my other discus vary fast and well worth the wait. Wait time was a little long but it was expected and listed on the website so it wasnt a big deal for me. Will definitely do be doing buisness again in the near future. 10/10

Disappointed in the coloration of my fish to say the least. I ordered Red Marlboro and Red Melon and received yellow and orange fish. I was told to wait a year, and they will color up. While I know that it takes that long to reach full color potential, we're not even in the right ball park. I received a 10 pack assorted previously, and none of their colors changed that dramatically. It was just a cop out to send me fish they didn't have. If they were out of a specific color, I would have gladly reordered. But I already have 2 orange and yellow discus. I was trying to buy a variety. Thats why I chose to pick out the specific fish this time around. Not happy with the colors, and will go somewhere else in the future. I could have paid $20 more and gotten 10 random, and been better off.

Got a few of my Mbuna from here, they showed up healthy, a little stressed out but after acclimating they seemed fine. They have very good customer service as they tracked my package and were able to make sure they showed up on time.

This was my first time ordering fish online, so just wanted to share my experience. I ordered five 3" African Cichlids which came to about $120 including shipping cost.Ordering/Website+ Easy to navigate with fish organized by species+ Full color photos of all fish+ Helpful descriptions that include tank size, temperature, food, pH, and compatibility recommendations+ Clear pricing and inventory availability+ Excellent selection of freshwater fish- I had difficulty using a VISA gift card on the website, but was able to call and a very help woman assisted with placing the order over the phoneShipping/Delivery+ Cost: $40 flat rate regardless of number of fish for next day delivery+ Fish were packaged very well with each fish individually double bagged and then all bagged fish placed in another bag; this prevented any leakage, but newspaper was placed on inside walls of box just in case+ Temperature was maintained using disposable heaters, so even though they shipped from NY in early January, the fish water arrived still warm- My order took longer than 7-10 days to ship as outlined on their website, but the store was apologetic and explained it was due to a backlog of orders over the Christmas holiday when they were closed (order placed on 12/27/21 and shipped on 1/8/22)- Next day delivery isn't guaranteed based on geographical area, but the store does take this into account and ensures the fish can safely survive even if not delivered next dayFish Condition/Quality+ An acclimation guide is included at the very top of the box on top of a piece of foam covering the fish; this acclimation guide is VERY important+ After following the acclimation instructions and introducing the fish, they all looked healthy, size-accurate, and mostly colorful (one blue fish was more white, likely due to stress, but regained color within a few hours)+ The fish all ate on the first day, and are alive and well on day two- The live arrival guarantee is very restrictive, and requires the customer to contact the store within two hours of the package arriving for any dead fish; I think a full 24 hours would be more generous, but the owners have said in past review responses they are willing to work with customers on a case-by-case basis when it comes to perished fish- It would be a good idea to place a large red STOP sign at the top of the acclimation guide stressing the importance of reading it first before taking the fish out of the boxOverallMy initial concerns about ordering fish online were shipping cost, fish quality, and selection. The iFISH Store exceeded my expectations on all fronts. I also appreciated their timely and pleasant communication with the two minor hiccups of not being able to use a gift card on the website and the delayed shipping. I highly recommend the iFISH store for freshwater fish and would happily do business with them again.

I always avoided Discus due to how expensive they are. I chose theifish store for my first-ever online purchase and discus purchase. Their prices are the best I've found. I purchased seven, 2-2.5 inch discus and two tetras. All arrived safely and in great condition. Clear acclimation instructions. It's been a almost a week and all my fish are doing wonderful. So happy as I was skeptical about ordering online and with such reasonable prices. My husband and I are very happy with our experience. I would definitely recommend them and I will be buying from them in the future.

So far so good! The prices are great, website is easy to navigate, the variety is vast. Now I'm awaiting my order. I'm excited to see what the box will bring. The woman that works here is so nice. They allow you to pick your own fish, but I was not confident enough to do it, so she helped me. She also let me know which fish play well together. (I'm beginning my fish journey) They have a huge variety of fish, shrimp, lobster and saltwater fish. They give you instructions on how to get your fish acclimated to their new home, so if you follow the directions your fish will be fine. I will definitely buy from them again. 😊To the woman that helped me today, I'm sorry I didn't get your name, BUT thank you so much for your help!

** I don't normally leave reviews, but this is one i had to post** This place is horrible! I made my first purchase and my sunshine cichlid was DOA. They issued a refund, which is a gimmick in itself as they charge low end $8.99 so when you ask for a refund they keep majority of the cost of the fish through "shipping cost" 🙄 🙄 I decided well let's give them another shot. 🤬 You wouldn't believe the package I received. All the bags were thrown in one giant bag and ALL of them leaking water. I lost 2 Cichlids due to HORRIBLE packaging!!!! Tried to reach out through email to ask if they can make it right, guess what?? No response. I DO NOT RECOMMEND SPENDING YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!

I have bought fish twice from here and I have no idea why I did it after the first go round. I have a well established clean and always healthy set up ordered 3 cichlids and a couple others and just like last time they came quick but were still weak. I'm not sure how you measure but if they were truly 1 1/2" they would have been fine the biggest was 3/4" others were1/2 " bout the size of a kidney bean but skinnier . No way these fish should be shipped to anyone they can't take it. Exact thing happened the first time but many less this time. Save the hassle don't buy small fish here. I finally learned that one.

I ordered 10 two inch Discus fish and 7 of them were closer to 1&1/4 inch to 1&1/2 inch. Very young! One died after 1 week.. no visible sign of why it died. I wrote them and they admitted they sell smaller than advertised Discus. It has to do with their competitive price point. Their shipping cost is very reasonable when compared to other Discus sellers and their shipping process is excellent though not fast. Shipped from New York to Washington state. Received the next day. They were all warm, healthy and swimming up-right when they arrived well packed!
