This is the best managed, most unique hardware store I have ever been to in my life. The owner and his amazing, friendly and knowledgeable crew really care about the customers and go out of their way to make any visit here a delightful experience. The clincher is the beautiful gift shop section that is a nice compliment to the hardware, as well as a seasonal Christmas display area with decorations, trees and gifts, all beautifully arranged- one stop shopping at its finest! Last but not least, the charming Jessica makes every visit a pleasure which is a nice bonus!

Love this store! Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Can bring in an old screw or bolt and get a replacement no problem. All kinds of goods for sale. There is a small gift store vibe at the front. Parking can be a little tight when it gets busy. I never regret stopping here.

They always have what I need and the staff goes out of their way to help you with any questions you may have. They have the typical hardware store items but also beautiful Adirondack themed items that you won't find anywhere else. I love this store and it's employees!!!! This place is crazy. Not so much a hardware store as a destination.They have items and spaces that appeal to everyone. Gardening/seeds/soils, large paint section, a little candy on the way out. They make keys and have many hard to find types. Decorations, candles and crafts. Some touristy items. Lots of staff, all very helpful. They even are thoughtful enough to hold the door for you as they are walking in or out. They've always had what I need, and it's busy there every time I go, so they must be doing something right.

This place is amazing. Not much you can't find here. Need something for a home project, short of lumber, they have it. Need a unique gift, jewelry, clothing nick nack. They have so many nooks and crannies with beautifully made items. You would never know from the outside the treasure that lies with in. A must visit when in Glens Falls Lake George Area. I wish I had photos.

This Ace store has not only a large selection of hardware and equipment items but also a nice selection of quality Adirondack and other fun and useful items. (Clothing, purses, pillows, lamps, braided rugs, cards, decorator items, kitchen items, etc.) There is always new merchandise to explore and you don't have to look far in any department for the assistance of very helpful staff.

Staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. They took down a Christmas tree that I wanted as it was the only one left. Boxed it up perfectly in seconds. Hardest part was finding what cord was plugged in where in display. Also beautiful and unique decor for everyone. Love this place !! ❤️

This place is two (or more?) stores in one. Plenty of hardware for the hardware enthusiast, of course, and basically another complete store centered around a completely different, more decorative aesthetic. I assume this is so that if a couple with different interests is forced to shop together, they are each readily accommodated on-site.Staff is very nice and helpful. I got my plumbing stuff just fine. Recommended.

We love our local ACE! staff are attentive and knowledgeable. They have bits and pieces we can only find here. Love their selection of Mrs. Meyer products too. Their ADK and other gift lines keeps expanding and my go to place to find gifts for family and loved ones. If they do not have what you need in stock they can order it and usually there the next day or two since regional supply house is nearby. We have used that service on several occasions. Keys we have had cut there always fit just right too. We love supporting this locally owned business and will continue to do so as long as we are living in the area.

The most unique hardware store around! Plan to spend time looking at the front part of the store and all of the gift ware. You won't be disappointed! There is always someone readily available to assist you should you need help finding an item. I needed to find powdered graphite for a door lock. Tough to find in Home Depot. I walked right in St. Andrew's, asked and the guy retrieved it for me! They also sell Benjamin Moore brand paints which is an added bonus! Glad to have this store with their friendly staff and exceptional service in my neighborhood!

We consider ourselves somewhat, hardware store experts...been in hundreds from coast to coast, border to gulf--even spent three years building Lowe's stores everywhere. This particular store is one of our favorites. Managed very well. Pleasant competent staff. Extensive variety of stuff to buy (Moreno wool socks last visit). Just a pleasure to shop there. You see, it is possible to do things right.

Great hardware store. Good selection of products with great staff. Privately owned and operated and you MUST wear a mask to get in.One thing to point out is that they have the largest selection of speciality screws, nails and bolts I have ever seen. All meticulously separated and easy to find with staff that can find it for you if you're having an issue.

Always a friendly "Hello" walking into the store, so much stuff to look at, my wife goes her way, I go mine, I always end up at the Adirondack section of books, maps and other cool stuff, from paint to candles and shovels to small items- They have everything! A little of everything. Love to go here. We had a big storm one year,. My road was blocked. No snowblowers anywhere . They had 2. Got home and had a problem. Called the owner. ,He said if I can make it to his house he would trade me for his. His worked.. Got home safe. I never forgot his concern and generosity in a real tough time. Great service found the Buddy propane heater. They had 4 different choices incredible. Big box stores don't even carry them unless you order on line. Found my new favorite store.THANK GUYS!!!
