RIck's Bike Shop was amazing 2 years ago when I bought my bike from them, but this last visit when I took my bike in for annual service they blew me away again with outstanding customer service. They noticed while looking over my bike that not much maintenance was needed so they did not charge me the full amount. I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I consider that going above and beyond for your customer.Great Job Rick! You have an outstanding business, and some fantastic folks working for you. You got a repeat customer in me bro.

I got my daughter a new mountain bike on Saturday afternoon, everyone was very helpful with finding the right size, and explaining how the geometry each of those sizes works. Would definitely recommend this shop to a friend.

I moved to the area and needed an upgraded/new road bike. I got word of Ricks Bike Shop…And it did not disappoint! A friendly and approachable staff…very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. They have amazing bikes, along with accessories/parts…I did leave with a new road bike, and soon will definitely be coming back for a new mountain bike….It was a great experience!10 out of 10!…5 Stars!

We absolutely LOVED our experience with Rick's Bike Shop. They were an authorized shop for the brand of bike my son purchased with the money he had been saving up. Even though there was a closer shop (11 miles away vs. the 50 mile drive to Rick's from our home), we felt so comfortable with our interactions while making phone calls that we decided the hour drive would be worth it and we were right. They got the bike assembled quickly, gave us all the information we needed, and Adam helped us install the bike rack on the car to get the bike home. Bonus: it's a dog-friendly shop so we got to meet and pet puppers both times we went up (to drop off the unassembled bike and to pick up the finished product two days later). Their service was timely and the assembly charge was very reasonable. Everyone in the shop was friendly and helpful. I would 100% recommend Rick's to anyone and will certainly use their services again for any other bike needs.

I was traveling from Western Mass to Lake George to do some biking. Do to carelessness on my part, my bike fell partially off my car rack and back wheel struck the ground and bent the rim. Stopped at Rick's Bike Shop on the way to Lake George and they got my bike right in. I had a new rim and was on my way in less than 1/2 hour. Super friendly and helpful staff. Thanks Rick's.

extraordinary shopping experience. We bought our dream bikes at 71 years of age, looking for the equivalent of the vintage bikes of our youth for ease and comfort. It was like Christmas. The ultimate ride forever! No one called us sissies and we are happy as clams.

While cycling back to Canada, I needed advice on a ‘wiggling’ bottom bracket. Had great service from Keith who’s despite not having the part in stock for a complete change, serviced the BB the best he could … which allowed me to finish the last 400 miles of my ride.Thanks Keith !!!

Picked up a brand new Specialized eBike back in April of 2020. At delivery I noticed that in addition to the bike not having been cleaned, the battery case was scuffed. At the time I was told a replacement casing had been ordered, but would take a few months to arrive. I reached out several times and in December exchanged emails with Rick who assured me he would get to the bottom of it, but didn't follow up. I reached out again in January with no reply. I understand they've been busy lately, but six+ contacts and closing in on a year since purchase and my damaged eBike has not been repaired.

Rick's bike shop annex at Gurney Mountain in Queensbury NY saved the day for my son. He had a derailleur blow up on the trail. The guy in their bike shed had a derailleur and had it installed and he was back on the trail in less than 20 minutes. What an amazing service to have at one of the best trail systems in the area. Thanks again for helping us get another great Gurney Mtn. ride in!

The staff at Rick's are always willing to help. We recently purchased 2 bells for our bikes which they were very willing to install. My bike will soon have a tune up, but a problem that I complained about was taken care of right way.

Not really that impressed. I didn't seem to get the experience that others had gotten. No encouragment to get fitted to the right bike, it was just a feeling that they wanted to sell their inventory. I wont take my bike here for service because of the concern that my bike will go into some new college hire. On top of that the person that tried to sell me a bike used a variety of sizes without concern if the bike would fit, they were happy to sell me a bike and waste several thousand of my hard earned dollars.I'll still go in if other shops don't have the gear I am looking for, but I'd still rather take my money somewhere else.

My wife's bike chain became came off the gear and was wedged in the frame. Many tried, but couldn't free it. We brought it to Rick's. The chain was freed there and the cause was diagnosed and repaired.

When I arrived at the bike shop, I was greeted with kindness. My bike was immediately looked at and evaluated. Before I left the store, I knew how much it was going to cost me for the repairs/maintenance. I was told the bike would be ready in a day or two. The next morning I received a text message saying that my bike was ready for pick-up. My bike was treated with care and fixed properly. The total cost was exactly as promised. Friendly folks who know their awesome bikes! They listen to your interests and take the time to fit you to exactly the right bike for you. In our case we went with a Specialized and a TREK e-bike, and flipped out the tires on the Specialized to better suit the biking I'd be doing. Tyler and Hylah are extremely knowledgeable and customer-focused and couldn't be more helpful. I would totally recommend Rick's to anyone looking to buy or service a bike.
