Today was my first time at the Bensons Queensbury location & it’s very easy to say I left extremely impressed with the fish area especially the customer service from an employee named Joe. I am a frequent visitor of the Bensons fish room in Ballston Spa, and it’s very easy to say the Queensbury location is a million times better. I was so impressed with how clean and loved the tanks looked especially the tanks the beta fish have. Joe obviously loves his job & the fish there. I truly believe Joe deserves some recognition!

One of the best Bensons I've been to. Staff is very knowledgeable and tanks look clean. They also have a good selection of more exotic fish then other stores including a lung fish! We got a zebra snail and some duck weed too! Included some pics of the duck weed and snail in my tank now! Healthy and lively

I go to the Queensbury location very frequently for advice and to shop their large variety of fish. Joe and Paige are very knowledgeable and have helped me greatly in keeping my aquarium going and healthy.

I love Benson's, and have had nothing but good experiences here. One of my cats has had a lot of health problems, and at every step of the way, someone at Benson's has been there to help us try to find what we need. She is now a healthy and happy kitty, and I believe that Benson's has been an integral part in her recovery. The staff is wonderful, kind and professional, and full of wisdom that they are happy to share.Strongly recommend, for anyone who loves their pets.

Their prices on fish are too high. I also like to say I had some home raised African lake cichlids and asked if they would like to give me store credit for some of them. They said no only take donations. Why would I want to put money in their pocket after spending all the time raising these fish.

Benson's is a life saver. After spending $400 on 2 different vets who could not tell me what was wrong with my cat or what to do for him, I went to Benson's. I showed the helpful lady pictures of my cat's face, full of scabs. We both agreed that it was most likely an allergic reaction. She suggested a Hemp cat antihistamine, which was perfect since I prefer natural products. He was noticeably improving after just a couple days. The entire staff is friendly and helpful and the prices are low compared to other pet stores. Thank you Bensons.

Honestly a good place to find specialized dog and cat food. They have a wide variety of treats for all types of pets. Large selection of toys and harnesses as well as dog beds. They also carry fish and the tanks always seem to be clean and the fish appear healthy. I'd recommend this place for people who are serious about their pets. It's also pet friendly for well behaved animals.

Why didn't I know about this place sooner?! Great selection of quality cat food that I can buy a can at a time to sample before buying a case. You can order online to pick-up, which saves time. Curbside service. Easy to access location.

Always love coming here! Have been going for years for all of our pet related things. Our dog is known by name now, and it's always a pleasure to see how excited the staff are to see him. If any of our pets have had an issue with a specific food, getting an exchange or return done has been easy. They have a great selection of food and accessories for all manner of pets.

This is a great place to shop for your pet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We're new to having Bunnies and they even went out of their way to go online and print out some interesting information on caring for rabbits.Fish 🐠🐟 Family Now and the staff is still just as friendly and knowledgeable.

Bought 6 fish yesterday 1 died on the way home . So I drove 45 minutes today to just exchange him for another with my special needs daughter the not so friendly cashier said nope not with out a water sample! He never made it to my water and the 5 who did are still living. So we left poor “bob” and will not return! I will not drive 45 minutes home and back for a 6.00 fish who was dead before he made it to the tank. We will go else where

We have gone to Benson's for years but haven't been there for a while (We live 40 minutes away). Stopped there to have my old lab pick out some treats after getting out of doggy day care. My dog loves trotting through the store and smelling everything. All staff we encountered were friendly and kind, giving her pets and love. Made our day. We have also been in with bully breeds and got just as much love, without any breed discrimination. Definitely recommend this store.
