Really nice place. I've adopted animals from here before. My hamster is going on 2 years soon, as of this post, and is still very healthy with no issues. I expect he'll pass soon sense hamsters don't live long, but I'll just adopt another animal from them. Relatively positive experience. They aloways have really neat and innovative pet products. Update: The hamster I purchased from them finally passed after 2 years and 4 month's. We are very happy with the time we had with him and have adopted a new one from the same store.

I brought my dog in yesterday 04/05/24 I liked how he is groomed however I believe they cut the hair to short and for the amount of money I spent on washing and grooming it wasn’t worth the price my dog still have that stranged scent on him they did not do a good job I should smell the shampoo/conditioner. This my first and last time going to PetSmart for washing/grooming. Few months ago I went to petco and the price was cheaper and my dog smelled amazing you could smell the conditioner from distance then now. I paid nearly 150$ I paid an up charge of 10$ for conditioning which I don’t smell and I asked for the sub total if I knew taxes going to cost a lot then I would’ve waited for my next week appointment with Petco never again.

75% of the time I come here the feeder fish are under quarantine and not available. Complete waste of a trip especially when you pull kids in there. I will never waste any time trying to come to this place again. I'm glad stores like this are going under, 100% deserved

Prices are a bit high for supplies. Decent prices for fish, though the selection is rather limited. aquariums are well maintained. The bettas were all looking pretty rough...kind of expected though when a fish that realistically needs a 5 gallon tank or larger is kept in a cup...standard industry practice but unfortunate to see none the less.

Unprofessional service. We booked a grooming for my dog, bath and haircut. When we got home, we found the groomer did NOT clean my pup's ears, did NOT trim his nails and his hair was NOT cut neatly.Never go there again.

Went to this location 5 MINUTES BEFORE THEY WERE CLOSING, because its my Omni girls 12th birthday and I got stuck working late, they were so sweet at the store and helped me even pick her out stuff, and manager came and got her a birthday present from her to bring home! Thank you so much, she loved everything, especially the frozen fruit treat!! 🐶😊

The salon, groomer, and cashier/staff are all great! We went hiking in the area and brought our dog in for a same day appointment. They did a very thorough check of her before taking her in and gave me a summary report afterwards of what they took care of during the grooming. The process was very smooth and she looks amazing afterwards. They even call me back the day after to make sure I am happy with everything. Amazing service!

It's not a bad store, it's pretty big with lots of options. I went for one specific thing, lighting for my aquarium, the options were very limited and couldn't find anything like what I wanted.

PetSmart is very good in Newburgh! Staff is very helpful and friendly. The vet staff is very professional. The clean and grooming staff here always does a great job with my dog. Better than the one in Poughkeepsie in my opinion!

We just had our huge, crazy coonhound groomed there for the first time. Lauren did such a beautiful job! The price was reasonable and the staff were all so nice. Very easy to schedule and pay online. I was nervous because my dog still has puppy energy and can be hard to handle but she did great! We will definitely be back.

The moment she read the notes that my dog gets anxious she started saying things like "idk what he will let me do" ... Do it was no surprise when we Didnt make it 5 mins away from the store when she called saying he is too stressed." I get my dog groomed every month and petsmart is the only place that is rough with him and acts this way. Im never using this company again. Never a good experience no matter the location. Cant wait till this company goes out of business.

I think this store is kept clean and well stocked with a great variety of pet products for dogs, cats and other small pets.They also sell cats that need to be adopted to good homes.Grooming and dog training is available too.They have some good markdowns but some things are a bit pricey in my opinion.The employees are friendly and helpful.
