Memories is all I can say. Memories of being a kid and going to see Rocky. Memories of taking my own kids to see "The Matrix" Trilogy movies, "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies, and missing out on "Over the Hedge" because we had no idea what it was.I will say this popcorn was relatively inexpensive, $4.50 for LG. $3.50 for fries, soda was not bad either. If you ate a butter topping person, you will need to bring your own.BRING A RADIO WITH A LOUD SPEAKER!The cars these days. The truck radio kept turning off to save batteries.Fun for the family. Nice for a date night. You won't regret it, just don't forget a chair and plenty of bug spray.

Super affordable tickets - $8 (cash only!) for me to watch a brand new release and a movie I hadn't caught at AMC when it came out a few months ago. Nice to be able to adjust my own volume and even go on my phone without disturbing other viewers. Two complaints: the number to call for listings wasn't working, and the ladies' bathroom was weird... four separate stalls, none of which could individually latch. Had to deadbolt the whole bathroom to get privacy. But hey, all four stalls I checked were clean...

I didn't really get to see much of the movie. Was not the drive in's fault. I was surprised I was even one in operation. Good job service was great. Food was good and the picture quality was good.

Amazing that a Drive-In still exists in America! If you folks that live around there have any sense at all...and care for the health of your community's future as a family friendly, God fearing American town...you'll NEVER allow this place to go out of business! Norman Rockwell would have painted this place!

Awesome to see a drive-in up and running. Concession stand was great and inexpensive. I totally could not make it for both movies as I was falling asleep. LOL

Grass wasn't mowed. Potholes all over.Went to see kids movies. Very strong odor of marijuana in the air.The prices are extremely reasonable.

Good time at the drive in. 2 movies for less that going to the theater. Grab a pizza or some subs and have a good time! They also have food at the consession stand if you prefer.

The snack bar has good food. There drinks are 20 oz so you should stop and get drinks before its cheaper I guess other than that its all gravy. I didn'tike you couldn't switch screens because even if you do your still watching two movies

Myself and my family went to see Empire tonight, two adults and 3 young children, just to get out of the house you know they miss the movies, could’ve watched this at home but wanted to go to the drive in.... anyway.... so we showed up just as empire was starting, we get ourselves all situated with our snacks we brought because the concession is closed, and before we can even get the radio going and everyone settled we start getting very rudely harassed by staff about our dome light. Now it takes several minutes for it to turn off on its own there’s no way to turn it off with a button. The only way to get it off right away is to start the car. So we run the car for a few minutes while we finish getting settled, get sick of breathing exhaust and running the engine so we turn the car off, literally one minute later the staff is threatening to call the cops if we don’t get the dome light off.... like really? I’m sure this is a standard setting in a lot of cars but he refuses to listen to us, so we left and ate the money we spent. Not impressed. The rude staff was intolerable. Kids were very disappointed that we had to leave. He escalated so fast over something so trivial there were like 5 other cars total at the whole drive in, I’m sure they can understand us waiting for the auto light to go off. I would think you guys would be welcoming customers not harassing them off the property as fast as possible.

Literally couldn’t understand a word out of the guy working the entrance stand (I’m assuming it was the owner because no one would hire someone who can’t speak well to work the booth). It would be ‘whatever’ but he was borderline rude—very curt and not friendly at all—which made it worse. I have worked jobs in customer service where I would’ve been fired for less. The bathrooms were disgusting and didn’t look maintained at all. The actual movie started at least 15 minutes before dusk so it was difficult to see the beginning. Not impressed and definitely won’t be back. Too bad. It is a fun memory and pastime, but I will find a better venue with a little more pride in their product to take my children to next time. I imagine people only go here because it’s the only one around.

Great place to watch new movies in the comfort of your car. Recently it has been less busy than past years. Same great atmosphere, I love watching a movie from my car or pulling out some chairs to sit outside. Just make sure you don't kill your car battery!

The only reason my family and I still go here is because it is the only drive-in around. The man here is always extremely rude. We were sitting in the back of my vehicle with my hatch open and he came by and rudely said that I needed to cover up the small light on the inside of my trunk. It’s literally inside of my vehicle and it’s not like I have a switch to turn it off. It wasn’t even an issue that it needed to cover it, more that he was rude for no reason. This isn’t the first time he has been nasty. I dread even buying tickets if he’s there. Wish this place had a different owner/management.

We are lucky to have drive-in nearby with them being such a dying breed. The price is good and the snack bar isn't badly priced. I love the fries. For the most part the staff is fine. It isn't like there is a lot of interaction with them anyway so I'm not sure what the couple complaints I see here are even about. It is a cheap and convenient night out to see 2 movies cheaper than one in almost any theater. Unfortunately, as I've gotten older it has become harder to sit in the car for long periods but, I usually make it there once or twice a year just to try to lend support to a business we are lucky to have in the area.

The people who work there are really nice and the movies were good. It would be really helpful if there were some kind of markings telling people where to park so more spaces would be available. But, we showed up right before the Disney movie started on a Friday night, so I guess you take what you can get.

The ticket guy is rarely happy! The young girl that runs the register is a little snot nose child and acts so with her friends! The fries are good if you get them fresh or they just sit and god forbid don't ask for them fresh unless you want a 13 yo attitude ! Pizza is terrible! Popcorn is very good! Nachos stale and tasteless. Prices are fair! Restrooms are HORRIBLE ALWAYS ! I have been going to the Portville drive in since the early 80s and always loved this place and still do but the owners are dropping the ball ! I understand tickets are cheap and people will show up for a movie but please please make it more family friendly!! Update 3 years later.... Thank you Kelly Michelle for furthermore proving my point 😉

Not many of these around anymore. Glad we have one close by. It's not a theater but it does the job well. Go early for those big hit blockbuster movies as it fills up fast even with 2 screens showing separate movies.

A very nice drive in. Been here plenty of times. Concession stands were clean and organized. Staff was great. Movie screen and radio stations to hear movies were nice and clear.

This place is always fun. I take my son all the time and he loves it. The food is great. We are lucky to have it in our area. Drive-ins are a rare commodity now-a-days. People should not complain about this place. What will they do if it's ever gone?

I've always loved this place. It's a great time every time we go. The movie selection is pretty good, at least, I've always enjoyed the movies they show. I recommend going.

I have only been her half a dozen times, but enjoyed the experience every time. With two screens available, parking is safer than I have experienced elsewhere. The concession offered a verity of snacks and sufficient restrooms.

I love this place old school drive in.You can't beat it $7 to see movie nowadays is a bargain. I hope this place never closes. I'll take seeing a movie here over some air condition fancy recliner uppity $15 movie theater price. You can sit in your car or you can get out sitting the grass sit on the blanket smoke a cigarette love it

Can't beat the movies for the price, that said, go to the bathroom before going there. Their bathrooms are generally clean, but way outdated and smell sorta gross. Easily five stars if the bathrooms were rennovated or something.

I loved going to the drive-in and getting their french fries..last year. It was the best place to go on the wknd. This year we havent gone. Not sure if anything has changed but i would go back if they had a movie of interest to me. 😁

Always as great time and very fun for the family. A lot of places don't have drive in movies anymore. This is a great treat for my kids to enjoy like I did when I was a kid.

Portville, NY Drive-In is your "classic" drive-in movie theater (The look, and the feel). I've only been there once (but plan to go back again), and the only knocks I have against it are 1. They don't take credit cards, and 2. The bathrooms are OLD (from like the 50's or 60's) and VERY dirty, and beat up. But minus those two reasons named, I still had a great time.

We went to see a movie in the middle of the week. It was nice because they were not real busy, but the concession stand only had popcorn, candy, and cold drinks. Overall a pretty good experience.

It's a fun night out that is definitely affordable. Make sure to take lots of bug spray... that is a huge downfall. Also, the bathrooms are a little gross. Not very clean by any means.

Inexpensive family fun :). $7 per person for 2 movies is a great deal...and the snack bar is old but functions wonderfully!! Lots of goodies to choose from. :)
