I was a little skeptical when looking for a place to stay and this was the only place that had vacancy, but my two friends and I were pleasantly surprised how beautiful the rooms are! Andy let me know the motel was completely gutted and remodeled in 2017 and that they wanted to do it right! And they did. The rooms have real hardwood floors! The mattress was the best I have ever slept in at a rental or at home! Pillows were great. The heating system was great, and the room was very comfortable even though it was 5 degrees overnight! The building has 3 rooms that each have their own locked door and bathroom. Two of the rooms have a kitchen sink and cabinets with pots, glasses, dishes, silverware and a hot plate. All have a coffeemaker, coffee, creamer, sweeteners and filters. Definitely top notch accommodations at a very reasonable cost.

My parents just stayed at the River room and it was great for them! They're a little old for the rigors of camping so they stayed at the lodge while we roughed it up at Little Sand Point campground. It was great coming to visit Grandma and Grandpa and get some donuts, we even boated in via canoe one day up the inlet.The room was very clean and had everything they needed. They did say next time they'd pay a little extra for one of the other rooms just to have more space and a couch to sit on. Free use of kayaks was an amazing perk!

We LOVED our stay in the Sunrise Suite! This space is beautifully set up, tastefully decorated & super quiet & comfy! We loved that we could use the kayaks, drive a short distance for a hike & enjoy fresh, fabulous donuts the next morning. We will definitely return... this area has so much to offer! Thank you for making it easy to check in last minute... greatly appreciated your accommodating us!

Peaceful , went for a quick getaway for my husband and I's Birthday. The sunrise room was so nice ! Very spaceous and clean. Cute little kitchenette, backyard starts with a stream into the lake ( 10-15 min row) The general store is awesome next door with delicious homeade donuts, and the breakfast was great ! Will definitely stay again !

Beautiful location: remote and peaceful, but access to basic amenities (and fresh donuts!) in the nearby general store. Each room gets access to two kayaks; we loved paddling down the creek that flowed right into Piseco Lake. We stayed in the Sunset Room, which had been fully renovated with modern amenities, including a very functional kitchenette. Easy and secure check-in/checkout with keypad. Highly recommend, and would definitely stay here again!

This place was a diamond in the rough. We were just passing through the area and needed a last minute room for the night. Fortunately we called this place. We are used to nice hotels and were wary when we arrived in the dark of night to let's say iffy curb appeal. But the owners were great, and our Sunset Room was updated and very clean. We used the kayaks in the creek right behind the motel for a peaceful paddle into the lake, and the donuts are indeed quite delicious.

Hidden Treasure in the ADK's! Small 3 room motel, recently renovated and super nice! Spent a night in April and had the whole place to ourselves. Backs up directly to a beautiful river. The Room was super comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was wonderful. Can't say enough nice things about this place, will be recommending to everyone we talk to.

The donuts are so good, fresh daily homemade. We always stop in for a couple dozen during our camping trip. Worth it everytime. My favorite is the Maple Sugar Donut.

Doing a great job resurrecting an area landmark. Store had great breakfast and the basics you may need and forgot/used up. Some cabin spaces became available this year which were clean and comfortable. Look forward to seeing what else they do in the future.

Amazing donuts and super friendly people. If you're camping in the area and need to grab any supplies, spare yourself the drive into Speculator and stop by here instead. They have everything you could possibly need and more.

A small, 3-room motel. Outside wasn't anything fancy, but inside was a cozy little efficency, including a kitchenette (at least in the Sunset room). Neatly appointed and all in good condition. Situated on a creek which empties onto the lake with a short paddle.

What a GREAT lodge/motel.Brand new, very modern, equipped with everything you need (and more). Was very impressed!! Whether it's for a night or for a week, with or without kids, you'll be pleased and comfortable here.This place deserves 6 stars, with the 6th star for service -- responsive and super friendly.

I Stayed at the Piseco Lake Lodge Motel for two nights in May 2021 and did some Kayaking on Piseco Lake. Online reservation system was easy and received an email and text from owner the day before checking in. Technically there was no check-in since I was sent the code to the exterior door and I chose the code to unlock my room but it was seamless none-the-less.The room was immaculate. I couldn't get over the quality of the craftsmanship. Hardwood flooring, spacious bath and well thought out kitchenette. The room even had a small dining table with chairs that stowed beneath to save space.I felt very at-home and could not be happier with the accommodations but if that wasn't enough a small stream flows 10 feet behind the hotel and feeds into Piseco Lake. I dropped my kayak in at the launch point and paddled my way into Piseco Lake. Amazing.It's a joy to stay at a place where it's obvious the owner takes great pride in their establishment and that is evident here. A diamond in the rough in the truest sense.I've included some room pictures which I think speak for themselves along with a couple of wildlife pictures from my day on Piseco Lake.Thank you for a great experience.
