Great place! Friendly staff great prices the selection is huge stop by just to wander around, weber, treager any BBQ supplies you can imagine! They helped us out of a bind custom cutting some wood for my trailer when we were far from home on a fishing trip!

A different experience from childhood when there used to be a counter along the wall and a wall full of deer trophies but even without that it did not disappoint. Has both quality and commodity goods. Super friendly staff, Nick is hooking me up with Bully Tools shovel and rake and a Johnson run-flat wheelbarrow that are backordered!

I would like to state that Knappe & Schlappi are one of the most pleasant people to do business with. I had a problem with a power washer and they replaced the machine with a new one! Its so nice to do business with honest people. Thank you so VERY much!!

Precovid would be our #1 choice but had a bad experience after Covid happened. I gave them a 2nd chance. As was same both times we won't be back. Several staff not wearing masks and no enforcement for customers either. Did not feel safe!!!

Have found most Keuka Lake services/businesses to be disappointing. Knapp n Schlappi Penn Yan is similar. Younger staff friendly and helpful, older staff are rarely willing to do anything but the bare minimum, at least in my experience, try as I can to be polite. A little pricey. Location makes it attractive. Have had very good experiences as Pinckney Hardware in downtown Penn Yan, and would recommend them whenever possible.

A large and well stocked hardware and lumber store. They have a ton of outdoor furniture,grills etc...too! This is my first stop in Penn Yan for all my renovation and Bavis hardware needs. Nice paint gallery and service as well.

Knapp & Schlappi, in Penn Yan is a great place to find a lot of DIY project materials for what ever you have to do around the house. Whether it's plumbing, garden tools, even a bathroom sink! The people who work there, are very nice, and will answer any and all your questions.
