My daughter took me here yesterday May 12th for mother's day get away. Even though I am a fellow employee at another property no one knew this. From check in to check out,exceptional service,staff was very pleasant, smiling, and recommended a restaurant as we got in too late for yours. The water view was so pleasant. The entire property inside and out including the rooms were exceptionally clean. Very nice experience. Hats off to you and your staff, I will definitely recommend this property to everyone. Thank you.

it is the worst service I ever seen. Their check-in system doesn't work or they say it doesn't, you check-in to one room but the next day they assign you another room and they say the other room checked-in earlier. So that means their system doesn't work or they do it in purpose and lie about it. I stayed in many different Hilton Hotels but I won't come back again only just because of the Penn Yan administration team. They can't answer any question and they are incapable.

I normally stay at Hampton inns and they have always been fantastic. This stay not as much. Only issue with the room is that the shampoo was completely empty which shows that the cleaning crews don't check everything when they clean. Another issue is, while I don't expect much from the free breakfast, at least have coffee. I only drink decaf and it was empty soon after breakfast opened. I informed the front desk and they said it would be a bit since the breakfast person called out. I pointed out that we were only about an hour after breakfast opened and there weren't a ton of people around and they said "well, we had power line crews here so we opened early for them." When I asked why it wasn't checked when the rest of the food was replaced the person at the desk just walked back to the kitchen and in a very snarky tone "yeah, well, it's going to be a bit". By no means was this a bad stay, and there are a lot of things that go on behind the scenes at hotels, but two very basic things should be met. 1) The rooms are fully cleaned and stocked. And 2) If you are replenishing the free breakfast, check everything.Edit: Dropping service to one star. I stood at the front desk for almost 15 minutes waiting for an employee to come back. I even tried calling the phone number to see if it would patch through to someone and it didn't. People check out in the morning, how do you not have someone at the front desk?

Very nice place to stay for your trip to Watkins Glen and Finger Lakes area. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The rooms with the lake views are great. The only issue is in the rooms there is no place to place your clothes. There is no piece of furniture with drawers. There are bins that look like they are from a frig, but there are only 3 and they are small. The free breakfast is very enjoyable. You get to start your day with something hot. I will stay here again when in the area.

Beautiful hotel!! The hot breakfast was good, I am not a big breakfast person but there seems to be lots of choices and the coffee was great! Staff is helpful and kind, I would definitely recommend it and I would stay again!! We stayed over Christmas and it was absolutely lovely!!Rooms: Large clean room and plenty of items that are available in case you forgot something at home!

The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the location and having the view of the lake from our room and generally enjoyed our visit.We really enjoyed the nightly music by Dave in the lounge.It was a typical HH breakfast variety.The room was spacious unfortunately it smelled like the previous guest had a dog that played in the lake.The rates are also VERY high.The foyer as you entered the building also smelled of stale smoke.

The Hampton Inn had very pleasant accommodations. The room was comfortable, roomy and clean. The staff was excellent, they were always friendly and helped at every turn. A bonus was the restaurant on premises, the Keuka Breeze had wonderful food and drinks. It was a very nice place to stay. If we ever go back to Penn Yan we would be happy to stay there again.

Came here for an anniversary getaway. Chose the hotel because it was right on the lake, with beautiful views. Really nice fire pit with comfortable couches facing the lake.Location is super easy to get to with several eateries and quick eats nearby, right in the heart of the wine trail and wine country, best in the nation!!Really nice amenities, when we went on Friday night there was live music at the bar which also serves full meals. The space is very small and cramped but people were making it work.Room was good, well laid out, excellent view of the lake. Enough amenities. Couldn't find anything to complain about!!

This is a great little hotel. Staff is all very friendly and professional. The location right at lakeside is a perfect starting place for touring wineries along the lakes. The back deck is great too enjoy a meal or drink around the fire pit.Nearby activities: Dozens of wineries and breweries around these lakes. Could spend days visiting them all.

The town of Penn Yan is quite beautiful and so is the lake the hotel sits on. The bartender, Jeff was super nice and accommodating. The food was also excellent as well. The breakfast attended (I think her name was Cindy) and I believe the daytime front desk manager was named Chris. If I got their names wrong, I apologize. They were both super helpful and kind. All the staff during my stay was so kind and accommodating.

We were for a conference this weekend and it was amazing. The staff was amazing,Chris ,Jeff and Phil and Pam handled over 500 people running around. They met everyone needs . The food was outstanding. I will definitely go back over and over. I highly recommend this place for any event you have planned.Food & drinks: Outstanding

We stayed at your facility while in Penn Yan for our son’s wedding from June 2nd to 4th, 2023. From the moment we arrived, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful! Our room, and the entire facility were very clean and tastefully decorated. We were lucky to get a room with a lake view, and it was a spectacular view! We were very pleased with the hotel and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the Penn Yan area! Great hotel!Cindy & Jim

I really wanted to give this hotel a 10/10 but it just didn’t happen that way. We paid extra for a room with a patio because we were traveling with dogs. This made things great for us! They even had a walking path with doggie bags. Best part it was on the lake! Our room was okay but definitely not worth the money we spent. The bed was very uncomfortable! We did not have a view like I booked for. But overall it was okay.

stayed there the other night on business. very clean. very nice looking new place comfortable beds. nice TV. friendly staff. very well priced for two people. two beds. it was only right at 100 bucks... they have a decent breakfast in the morning with scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, pretty much anything you would want oatmeal as well. I would highly recommend this place if you're in Penn Yan

Chose to stay here for our 3-day trip at Finger Lake. This hotel is clean and well-maintained with stunning lake views, making it a great choice for a relaxing getaway. The sunset walk around the property was especially enjoyable during warm days. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

staff was very nice and helpful, room & hotel were were clean, breakfast was adequate with fair amount of variety of food available, location is prime being right next to the lake & has a restaurant next to it but also very short drive to main street/village. the only VERY minor issue i had was the hot tub didn’t have jets (seemed like just a heated pool) but it was still nice. i’d stay here again.

Gave the room we book to someone else, changed our room 2x's, and ended up in a downgraded room. The fridge didn't work in our room nor did the hand held shower head or bathroom fan. The jets didn't work in the hot tub and it said heated pool, but it was ice cold. I would maybe stay again for the view and location but the front desk staff the day we checked in was not very knowledgeable or helpful. Quite a few items need repair and the rooms need a good thorough cleaning.

If you are looking for a hotel in the Finger Lakes area and The Hampton Inn is an option - STAY HERE. The staff was overly accommodating and friendly and the view is wonderful. Super clean as well!*As a side note, my Mom left her jacket in the closet. The hotel went out of their way to contact us and they said they would mail it out promptly. Extremely considerate!*

I am in love with this place. My girlfriend & I went for a fall trip together. I was so comfortable & content. The place is right on the water & just stared out at the lake from our comfy bed. We are going to make it our new getaway. This place is something special. The town of Penn Yan is so welcoming & this hotel is right in the middle of everything. As a fisherman, I could try my luck from their property. The outdoor patio had a gas fire & welcomed wine drinking. Keuka Lake is smaller the Cayuga & Seneca but more intimate. I love it!

Great location. We had a room with a king bed and door to the outside patio. Bed was great for us as we have back issues and appreciate a firm mattress. Breakfast was fine…it’s a free breakfast and the staff were very friendly. The location is near several wineries and only 20 minutes away from Seneca lake. The bar was a nice amenity and the food was good.
