What an awesome experience! The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The day we went happened to be rainy and we were offered to switch our time to a later time, but we chose to still do our 11am ride. They provided umbrellas and water for the ride. It rained for the first part of the ride, but cleared up for the second half. Our guide, Harmony, was knowledgeable and put her own flare on the narration. The pedaling is easy and the ride itself is super enjoyable, great views. The changing leaves added to the beauty. Even with the rain, our group of 4 really enjoyed ourselves! Highly recommend this experience!

I love rail biking. This was our first time in the Watkins glen/ penn yan area and we were looking for something fun to do. The bikes were great, very comfortable and easy to use. They had a strap for your cell phone so you wouldn’t drop it, basket for your things and an umbrella in case of rain or a lot of sun. They also provided a bottle of water which was super nice of them. There were bathrooms at the beginning and end of the ride which were clean and well taken care of. Thank you! The ride out was very slow paced. Kept having to break so we didn’t hit the people in front of us. Ride back was more comfortable. Sit in the back so you can ride back to the yard at your own pace. Our guide Harmony was awesome. She offered a lot of great information on the history of the area and told some cute funny jokes. It truly was the staff that makes this well worth it. Everyone was so up beat, friendly, and professional.The owner recommended oak hill foods/ cafe to us which we loved so thank you for that. The bike ride was through farm lands and the whole area is super beautiful, fall foliage makes it that much better. I would highly recommend and will do it again if we are in the area.

After a few days of wine tasting and over indulging this was the perfect experience to gain some local knowledge on the area and get a little exercise to boot! Drew and Harmony were knowledgeable, informative but mostly FUN! A great time had by all! The rail bikes were comfortable, easy to use and a really cool way to see the farm lands!! Which are just as pretty as the lakes! The entire staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming! They even offered up some sun screen which was necessary on our tour! Would love to come back for the full moon tours! Thanks again, FL Rail Riders, for an awesome afternoon!!

This is such a fun and unique experience. A true hidden gem of the fingerlakes. It's a small workout for your body and mind as you peddle at your own pace, hear about the history, and admire the beauty of the area. You get to meet new people, as it is a small group, with time to chat before and after peddling. The guides are wonderful, fun people, and the owner is a blast. I just wish it were longer!

An awesome and unique experience! The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and they planned for everything! At one point, one of our seats had a small issue, but it was quickly remedied, and the staff made up for the inconvenience. The tour itself was very interesting, and the scenery was really beautiful. The ride was not strenuous, especially when having two people on one bike. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique activity in the rural Finger Lakes area.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed Kathy and her team’s energy and devotion to giving us the best tour, rain or shine. Highly recommended for a group excursion. We were so excited to learn AND get a little bit of exercising in. (A very easy going ride) Thank you for making our already wonderful visit to the Finger Lakes that much better!

We had a great time! This was a good way to be active, yet the ride was very manageable. We learned a lot of history about the area and the railroad while being entertained by Drew, our guide. The view was amazing and the adventure was worth every centt!! Seats were comfortable and adjustable. We felt secure with a safety belt. Water was supplied and bathrooms were clean. Worth going again! A great family activity! Suitable for all ages and phyical abilities. Kathy and crew are very accomodating to various needs!

Let me start off by saying I have wanted to try Rail Bikes for a few years now and it was worth the wait! Originally we had stumbled across the Adirondack location and knew we had to book a day. Unfortunately the Adirondack location was over 4hrs away so we booked with the Finger Lakes Rail Riders which was only an hour from us. Our tour guide was extremely kind and very entertaining! It was very cool to hear about different spots along the tour and the history on them. The carts were a lot lighter and easier to peddle than I had anticipated but that was not a bad thing! I think for the view of the cornfields it could have been half the price. I was hoping to see a body of water somewhere but the only movement we seen were the Amish crossing the tracks lol 👣 I can honestly say we are eager to go on more Rail Bike adventures! 🛤

Such an amazing hidden gem. Great owner and employees who really spent time getting this attraction together. Each car has a bottle of water waiting for you, a basket for purses/backpacks, a zipped bag for securing small objects, and a bungee for your phone.This was great to see the countryside and learn more about the area and its history.Cars are easy enough to pedal that one person can do it on their own, or you can take turns as a do. They have harnesses available if you bring little ones.

What an EXCELLENT day. Our tour guide Cathy was an about gem and riot. She explained so much great info about the area. Everything went smoothly and easily as she prepped so we could have the best experience. The views are wonderful and the ride isn’t all that strenuous! Highly recommend you join them for the 1.5ish hour adventure through the beautiful landscape!

An amazing family experience!! I would totally do this again Peaceful, relaxing, gorgeous ride.We had our family, grandparents down to our 4 month and everyone had a good time. It is a low-intensity ride that lasted about two hours.Cathy provided great service and is a very proud owner. There are a lot of great restaurants around area.

Such a fun experience. I would totally do this again (and may do so again with the in-laws tomorrow). Peaceful, relaxing, gorgeous ride. The owners are also super friendly and warm people. It was a low-intensity ride that lasted about two hours. I couldn't pass up riding through the beautiful landscape, and getting a closer view. I would highly recommend!

Loved this experience! My fiancée and I were the final car in a string of 6. That's a great spot to be for pictures on the way back since no one will be in front of you!The tour guide who lead us was very informative and kind. The actual riding was a nice workout but totally manageable for us despite not being bike people. The trail is about 2 miles each way and took about an hour total with a break in the middle.We were in the heat and we baked a little, so don't forget to apply sunscreen to your knees and legs! You're in the sun a lot! Great experience though. Zero complaints!

Had a great time peddling the rails. Bikes are comfortable and fully adjustable for your comfort in reaching the peddles. Seatbelts give you an extra safety measure also. Kathy our tour guide had lots of historical information about the area. I absolutely recommend this business.

We saw all the great reviews on trip advisor and google and decided to try it. It was fun. Kathy, owner and tour guide has a great sense of humor and gives history and fun facts of the area. Each seat has a radio so you can easily hear as you are peddling. Get the last car, so you can be the first car peddling back, but any car is fine. Country side is beautiful. Although we didn't need it this trip, Kathy is willing to try and accommodate disability needs.

This is such a cool and unique experience. And a perfect way to see and learn more about this beautiful area of the Finger Lakes.Immediately upon arrival, we were greeted with such positive energy by the Rail Riders team. The bathrooms (something between a port-a-potty and a regular restroom) were extremely clean and well maintained.The ride itself was relaxing, informative, and entertaining. Drew had jokes! I would say this requires only a minimal level of physical fitness to enjoy. If you can walk around a block, you'll be fine to pedal these awesome rail bikes.We would absolutely do this again and recommend any and all to try it out. Cathy, Drew, and Wayne were incredible hosts and made us feel welcomed throughout our time together.

I wasn't sure what to expect. I google mapped this place and it looked like a straight track one way. Wasn't sure how we would turn around to come back. When I got there I was surprised to see this isn't some cheap operation. These people have thought of everything, they have radios so you can hear the guide, who was very informative and entertaining. They even provide you with water and an umbrella should that be necessary. I would highly recommend taking the ride.
