A tidy, simple place to get breakfast. The waitstaff was friendly a quick, the food was hot and plenty and everything came correct. The coffee was not terrible. The only improvement I would have loved is real maple syrup instead of artificial.

Lovely family diner located right in downtown Penn Yan. Parking was easy right on the street, if not you can park further up and enjoy the short walk. Lovely server and food was good! Portions were very generous. Prices were fair.

Angel's is a very old diner in Penn Yan. I don't know how old the place really is, but there is an old menu board with eggs for 30 cents and wheat cakes for 45 cents. I think the wooden booths could be the originals. We have mostly been there for breakfast which were very good. Our last visit was for lunch, which wasn't bad, but not as good as they do breakfast.Parking: Only on the street parking in the area.

I was a bit disappointed 😞. I'm from out of town driving Amish. I thought I'd try a local mom and pop's place for breakfast. I was going to go to the Penn Yan diner but there was no parking and seemed too busy. So I saw Angels family restaurant down the road and went there instead. Only a few diners. Clean. Staff was friendly. I ordered coffee, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage patty. No toast or home fries because I'm doing keto. The coffee wasn't the best. The bacon was extremely thin and barely any flavor. The eggs tasted like they were cooked in old grease and were floating in it. The sausage was ok. I couldn't finish the eggs because of the taste. The bill was $10. I still left a good tip because I used to be a waitress and it's not her fault. Service was good. But I feel like I could've had a better breakfast and coffee at the Byrne dairy down the road, which I did last time I was in the area.

We travel alot around the US and dine in local restaurants wherever the road takes us. Today we found ourselves in PennYann Ny. We found this restaurant Angel's here on main Street. The waitress Cheryl was very friendly and had a great personality. The owner Donna was very friendly as well and the restaurant has a home town feeling. We ordered the sausage biscuits and gravy. Food was hot, portions were large, price was priced right. Than you again.

I love Angel's. My food is always great. My girls and I have been going there for years. My oldest thought maybe they changed ingredients the last time we went a few days ago. Her bread was different for her toast, and her French toast too. She thought the brand of sausage links looked different too. I'm not sure if it did, it's just the only thing she could think of. Her regular order, seemed all different.

Food was perfect! The chili was very hearty and flavorful. I got the patty melt on rye and man were they generous with the butter. The made from scratch blueberry pie was to die for. We’ll def be back when we’re in the area.

This was a place that my parents used to go to while they were dating! It's a small, locally owned business and because of that, you get great service. Plus, the food is amazing! And the owners are very personable! I would definitely recommend for you to take a visit here if you are passing through town!

We've been going to this place for over 20 years when in town. Wonderful home cooking, owner is so friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere cozy, kind of old-fashioned, nice feeling of a good thing remaining a good thing without a lot of changes. When in Penn Yan I wouldn't go anywhere else for breakfast.

Great food, great prices, great service. My family was visiting the area for a few days and decided it wasn't worth trying to find a different place. You owe it to yourself to go here. These ladies were incredibly sweet to me and my elderly grandparents as well.

They support their military. Right behind the bar is a mantel full of local military photos. They are very proud of all of their service members and call them family. The food was good but I wish I had been there for breakfast. Also watched the inauguration ceremony while waiting for food.

I got the French toast, eggs, toast, and home fries for breakfast with my dad and siblings. For the price you could go to the dinner which has better people and better food for a similar price. Don't recommend, Nicolas Cage

Everything I've ever had to eat here has been exceptional, and I've been coming off and on since the 1950's. The owners here now are so friendly.
