The store itself is clean and fine! I am not writing my review for the store in particular however they do have a worker there who I think is a phenomenal asset to their store and I wanted to bring attention to him. His name is Thomas and I often catch him in the parking lot collecting carts or in the vegetable department. He has been there for many years he always wears a hat and has glasses. I have never seen a store employee who always has such a positive attitude. He always greets me with a handshake and today I was in the store for the first time in maybe a year and he called me by name and I was completely in shock! I have never seen him not working hard and he is such an asset to your company. I hope everyone gets a chance to meet Thomas because he is purely a delight! And I look forward to coming in to your store just for the wonderful reception. You have a fantastic employee in Thomas! And I wanted to make sure management was aware of it. Very rare in todays day and age.

We are frequently getting expired items from here in our online orders. It's not only the fault of the picker - if you go into the shop you'll see more expired produce in the shelves. Happened twice in the last two weeks with Oscar Meyer chicken and Stop and Shop tacos. Really concerning. Quickly losing trust in Stop and Shop.

Hispanic girl with pink hoodie, always wonderful and pleasant everytime I go there however she always seems to be working alone when it's busy and today everything went well as usual however I do NOT like the fact that she's ALWAYS ALONE in HER DEPARTMENT. I asked a manager if he can call someone to help(will) he said okay however im not sure he did because I had to come back(an hour later) for potato salad and she was still alone, looking quite overwhelmed and I asked her if she can take a break and get WATER(BASIC HUMAN NEEDS) and she said that her manager and department manager said nobody is allowed to have water. Not only is that WRONG but I shop here frequently and I've SEEN the department manager drinking coffee and eating stuff over the chicken while it's frying, also there's a lady man or whatever she wants to be that particular day there that always has a nasty attitude like you're bothering her by her doing her JOB.

Its always clean and the staff are all nice. Some things are little pricey. So i only buy certain things ftom here. Like the pistachio muffins are a must.

The prices are no bargain, too many empty shelves, beware outdated foodstuffs esp. at the deli which will sell coldcuts that are old. Poorly staffed, but they spent good money on a roving robot that serves no material purpose. Try ShopRite instead and be amazed!

Had a very pleasant experience inside the store. The deli clerk with the cool hair provided some of the best customer service I have had in a while. He seemed very enthusiastic to be there and whenever I see him, we have the best conversation ever, somehow he remembers my order and always makes me laugh. 10/10 would order from again

Clean & usually has what I’m looking for; but the produce lately has not been good. Online pickup needs serious work. I have a new baby so this seemed liked a good option; but there are issues every single time. It appears to be only very young teens who works in this department, with no supervision. The app will have items listed & without fail several will be out of stock. Whoever does the shopping picks fruit & veggies that are soft, spotty, expiring etc. The last time I ordered I got an egg carton that had been ripped off completely with 4 eggs missing! Not sure how someone could miss that. They’re revamping the whole store currently so hopefully they’ll revamp online pickup & the produce section as well.

brought dole classic kit caesar & stop&shop brand 4 pk of tomatoes, went to make try to make a nice salad to find MILDEW growing on my tomatoes, i opened my caesar salad kit & there was a dead bug in there smh NEVER AGAIN, also packaged ground beef is always bad all they did is print a new label with a new expiration date & give the old meat a new label , DISGUSTING

Its inside the beach shopping center. Stop here when I'm in the area. It's one of the older stop and shops. Could use an update. However it is usually clean and well stocked. All the departments are good but the produce use to be better. The staff was helpful and friendly. Prices were okay somethings are higher though. Will continue to go here

mostly an okay visit always treated very kindly by a handsome young boy, chris j, has always helped me and greeted me with a smile, a excellent worker and even better person, as for another employee ‘rhonda’ has a nasty attitude with COWOWRKERS and creates a somewhat hostile environment, hate to leave such a negative review but her attitude towards cowards and her short temper made my experince bad👎🏽

Pretty good store! The employees are very friendly and eager to help. They keep it clean and have a wide variety of products. Plenty of parking, too. The express checkout makes things even faster and I appreciate that. The only possible negative is that when I was there the shelves could have been stocked a little better but then again they may have been waiting for a truck to come in with a delivery. Overall I recommend this store!

Good store with a great selection. They have everything. But as for the restrooms, the toilets were covered in urine and feces, and there was no ventilation. You can imagine the smell that accumulates in that closet-sized room as people defecate. Not family-friendly in that regard. Maybe consider cleaning the restroom more frequently, and fixing the ventilation?

My experience at Stop & Shop is ALWAYS very good.Barring none, the staff is very courteous and helpful, plus the service is exceptional.One of the things that makes my experience always so special is their store card. With this you get a lot of deals, specials and you can get just about any and everything there. No card...still no problem. They will give you a temporary one so you can check out with those specials.I recommend this supermarket to anyone in Peekskill and surrounding areas.

I love their scanning guns, it really speeds up checkout. While there are periodic issues of items on my list not being in stock, generally everything I need is available. Finally, I have had a good experience with curb-side pickup. I prefer to shop myself, especially given the low stock concerns, but have used curb-side pickup dozens of times.

It's a beautiful, clean and well organized environment to get most products and provisions I need. I find the staff I've met mostly courteous. I enjoy early morning shopping as I love to browse around and check for different items. It's easily accessible and other places of interest are in close proximity. My only drawback is, I would definitely love to find more Caribbean products.

Update. I feel bad for the few good employees who must work with others who despise their customer base.Zero stars. My grandmother told me this store refused to give her the discount for a coupon that was "digital only". I'll just post the question here....Is this really Stop and Shop policy? If it is, it's a disgusting policy that discriminates against the elderly and those who cannot afford to buy a smartphone. If it is not- just wow (my sentiment) - get some new employees ASAP who respect their customer base (many of whom are elderly). The store is a mess in general and now elderly discrimination?(Of course this probably doesn't reflect on all employees there, some of whom I have had positive interaction with and I am sure are doing a great job. )

Excellent store. Big, clean well stocked. Gave it a 3 because there were only 2 open registers in a row of at least 15 stations. There were LONG lines at both on a Wednesday afternoon. Took forever to check out.

Undoubtedly one of the worst grocery stores in the area. Deli staff is rude, cooks that make the chickens consistently burn them, often out of very common items, managers are also incompetent and nasty. Any place is better.Editing my review, because the response from the store stated that they are trying to improve. Fail. Went back recently just to give it a try... staff "too busy" to answer questions. I used the "Deli Kiosk" and the self-check wand. I was in the store 30 minutes, never received notification of completion of my deli order. Ready to check out, went to deli, had to wait in line to just ask about my order. The deli worker went back and picked up the slip for my order. The order had just sat for 30 minutes without even being looked at. I told them to just forget. Went to check out, and my self-check order was flagged for an "audit". At this point, I had had enough, and just put everything on the checkout belt and left.This is the closest store to my home, but even with sky-high gasoline prices, I will drive to ANY other local supermarket to avoid this place.

Never enough checkout registers open, always understocked merchandise, the deli features expired grab-n-go cold cuts, and the prices are no bargain. Some departments, like Fish and Bakery, often have no staff in attendance. Longstanding problems all around.

I love this place.. The worker are so nice. I got to try so fresh orange juice. Cheeses and i couldn't find my savings card in they put one in for me. I wouldn't mind spending my money in that store. Keep up the great work all stop&shop employees.

Some of the prices were reasonable if you had coupons and the prices of produce were a little high. Some of the shelves were not stocked and some had dates very close to expiration. Otherwise, if you shop carefully, you could find some good deals on food to purchase.

It is a good store, good selection of food, but people that work in this store are rude. I have been at customer service area, and one of the girls that work there did not care about what i was asking and she left the place ignoring my question and pretending not hearing. Body language says a lot how people feel in their job, different from SHOP RITE, at this place people seem to be much happier and everyone listens and answer even if you have silly questions. I believe managers from stop and shop store need to reassess the customer service given by their staff.

I been going to Stop & Shop since I was born, I always have a great experience when I go. The deals are great and the meat and produce is very fresh and the organic section is great. The Deli and bakery employees are very nice. An amazing place to go for Grocery shopping.

Today I decided to never shop again in any stop&shop store, customer service has gone from bad to really bad. They had also suggest that I could still something when I try to return some water. They had charge me $391 for a 24 water bottles thatstore show at $2.50, item so heavy for me instead of giving me the thing to scanned it they want me to lift it myself again insinuating that I wouldn't return to them the thing to scan it. I felt insulted, tired and that they do not care about my age. I do count even if am older now, I have been using the store for so many years, I was young once and not mind this lock of courtesy but not anymore
