Place is a mess. Boxes line the aisles. Products are all over the floor not properly on the shelves. (From other reviews yes people are lazy af and just throw stuff on the floor instead of putting it back) some of the food products were expired on the shelf. The place needs everything taken out in the parking lot and store scrubbed the restocked. It's a dollar tree I understand but I expect more. The o ly reason I give it two stars is because of the staff. They are very friendly and polite

If you're as concerned about inflation as I am, then run, don't walk, to this Dollar Tree. Great prices on a broad array of products. Nothing glamorous but if you're on a budget, you owe it to yourself to check the place out.

Fast and reliable as always. They always have those small items you need when you don't want to go to a bigger store for example school supplies. The staff is friendly and I was able to find my items with ease. I highly recommend shipping here.

The store has been coming around since over a year ago. The shelves are becoming fuller and the floor isn't covered with product. Seasonal changes completed nicely and timely. Register staff not completely put of whack and people come up more often to help keep the lines down. Overall a much better experience than previously.

The Peekskill Dollar Tree is by far the best one I’ve ever shopped in. I’m at this particular store once a week on average and it is always neat, clean, well lit, well stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful. It seems that all the employees are happy to work there and take pride in their work and it shows. Seasonal items are put out on time and nicely arranged. I’ve been to other Dollar Trees far and wide and none compare to the Peekskill store. If there’s anything you need, most likely you will find it at this store, so stop there first!

July 2023, this store in Peekskill, NY was fully stocked and very clean. Hats off to the staff and Management. Much nicer then the Dollar Tree Stores in South Fla.

Awful. Workers harass you every minute from 9:30 thru 10pm when they are closing to leave the store when you are trying to hurry and get your items. It is non stop. Then they tell you they are tired and worked all day and want to go home. Unbelievable. If I did that at my job and told customers I was tired and want to go home I would very fired. Amazing. If you don't harass customers every minute they might actually be able to get out on time without the added stress. What happened to treating customers nicely? Did you ever think about maybe asking if they need help instead of just hanging out at the register yelling thru the store toy are closing? Just don't get it.

Well stocked. Friendly staff. Store is clean and maintained. Great prices. All items are $1.25 or less. Long lines move quickly. Manager and staff are doing a great job!

Today they treated me the worst that I have ever been treated in a business. Diego at the cash register treated me very badly when I asked to speak to the manager the lady treated me worse for no reason . I wonder where the owner is and I have a video to prove .. poor customer service

Compared to other dollar trees I've been to this one is by far the best. Although busy at times the staff works hard to maintain fully stocked shelves and and clean store. The manager really cares about "her" store and it shows!

The stores has gotten a lot better in the past year. New people, new management. Stocked shelves lots of variety! I go there weekly. I love the new snack zone. And they have name brand detergent sometimes and the water love. I'm glad it got better.

the store is usually a mess, but i have many time first hand seen customers just toss stuff wherever, knock things down and leave it. it would be more organized if customers weren’t trash about how they treat merchandise. staff usually pleasant but it seems like the same cashier is always stuck with a long line and a crappy computer system. could use a good cleaning on the floor as well but generally a lot of good finds. activity book section hard to navigate due to messiness, but again lazy customers and accompanied children messing it up.

I found this store, clean, well stocked. There is a great variety of items to choose from. The main reason I am writing this is because of the employees that work there. They were more than kind, friendly and helpful. It makes you want to go back to shop. You felt that your business was truly appreciated. I spoke to the manager and told her how helpful her employees were. One of the things I appreciated as well, was that everything was in fact a dollar! So many dollar stores you go in to now, few things are a dollar. Dollar tree means a dollar. Thank you for being helpful and kind dollar tree Peekskill.👍👍

I came here one time and there were 2 staff members talking loud to each other about their hours and how they don’t want to be there and pretty much yelling out all this personal info. Made me really uncomfortable. They have good stuff here but they need to better their professional status. Not to mention they need to either hire more employees or train their current ones to go a little faster on transactions. The line last time was passed 8 or so people with 1 cashier. I’ve worked retail for many years. I learned that after 3 customers, it’s time to start calling for back up.

I love this store, but everytime I get ready to pay there are lines. Usually only 1 cashier with at list 6 or more people on line. Then only one regiter opens up. Today the cashier (girl) wasn't very cheerful. I said thank you and she didn't. Maybe she was having a bad day.

Probably the worst dollar tree I have ever stepped foot in as far as cleanliness, organization, and product stock. Seems like they are always behind and shelves are dirty and empty. I avoid this one at all costs if in the Peekskill area. I am closer to Poughkeepsie so go to that one regularly because it is large, clean, and well stocked at all times!

One employee was very rude, yelled at a few kids that were playing with a doggy toy, and had a very negative vibe to her. Stared at me for a while as well, I guess doesn't like how I dress or look which isn't her job to judge, its her job to service shoppers. Overheard her gossiping about a gay employee in a negative way, very unprofessional and down right homophobic and disrespectful. I will probably not be returning.

Well, they are keeping the secret that they are no longer Dollar Tree, very secret, they are now Dollar Twenty Five ($1.25) Tree. Everytime there is a problem like Covid-19, the responsibility falls on the consumers. So for consumers information the Dollar Tree on the Beach Mall in the town of Peekskill NY, is no longer$1.00 Tree is $1.25 Tree now. What a joke.

The employees are very nice and helpful. The managers are exceptional. I can only remember Sharice's name. I don't remember the other managers name. It is a pleasant place to shop. Thank you all.

What Has happened!!?? Dollar tree in Beach Shopping Center used to be filled and kept neat and tidy!! What a mess!! The store is disgusting!! Mice crawling under the soda machine, shelves dirty, opened food, unopened boxes in the aisles, bare shelves!! Please fix this!!

Sexist and Racist Management- Went very recently(3/12/17) with my mother(a disabled USA veteran). We shopped normally browsing and selecting our items. Proceeded to check out. Everything fairly normal. My mother was before me. As her things made it's way down the conveyor belt to be scanned she informed the cashier(who we now know is the STORE MANAGER)that she would be paying split tender(to seperate forms of payment)She let him know that she would first pay with the balance on her card and the remainder"my daughter would pick up". I was standing directly behind her waiting also to check out. The manager(and only active cashier person)who's name is Tom began to scam and slam the items. My mom was a bit shaken and taken back. She just sighed then he turns and says in the most dry and curt tone to "swipe now". As she did she couldn't see the initial prompt. She asked him for assistance he repeated again a bit more hostility "I told you to swipe". She told him she understood but needed to make sure the split tender was factored in. With the same steam Tom "I said swipe, I heard you". He finished flinging the items in the bag and the card portion was accepted. He then let's her know she still has a balance. I stepped up and handed him the cash. Hoping to get out as soon as possible. My mother is shaken and the rest of the customers on line and now looking uncomfortable for us. I say this because of the "wow" that followed the hostile behavior. He tosses the change in my hand and no begins to scan n slam my items. I paid cash. He SNATCHED the money from my hand and now im at a loss. On instinct getting the change I thanked him. He smirked. I shook my head and picked up my bags to turn and leave. I hear him say "yea thats how they are" I turned and asked him if he was referring to us. He told me "yea i was". I asked him what made him think it was ok to treat my mother(not even myself)as he did. He told me thats how he feels. MIND YOU this is the ONLY open register and he now stopped the line to continue to be disrespectful. I told him it's not ok to antagonize someone who has NO issue with you. He now screaming let me know he heard murmuring and he will talk to whom ever as he pleases. I asked him for a supervisors contact information. He let me know he "runs this store"and is all of Management. I asked for another contact person or district manager information. He told me there was none and if I wanted to file a complaint I just did. At this point my mom is mortified and on the brink of a breakdown. I asked him for his name. He let me know it's Tom, smirked and mumbled "they dont matter". The woman who was checking out after looked shocked as well as the other cashier woman who was now opening a new line. We left.

The store is very disheveled only because customers tend to take things and not put them back where they belong. The store itself is always short staffed but customers are so reckless and careless then they complain about the mess. Put things back where they belong if you dont want to purchase. Its that easy.
