This store is ALWAYS a mess - floors - never swept or mopped - Shelves are in disarray, product is everywhere. Stock carts are continently in the isles making it difficult to get to the shelves.Staff is good, no issue there - maybe you need a night shift to clean and stock. I hate going here but necessity makes necessary.

Cashier is never around when you go to check out. Some of the workers are outright rude and accusatory dont recommend going to this store at all

Everyone is always blaming the workers here for not having things stocked or aren’t fast enough. One, it’s not their fault. They have a terrible district manager named John. He doesn’t care about his employees at all, not even when they get injured on the job. Yes, customers come first. But so does your employees. Start treating them better or this will get reported to headquarters. They do everything they can and always put their customers first, you need to start treating them better and understanding that they’re also human! They are allowed to have problems and it’s okay for them to make mistakes. Lay off your workers backs! Also the fact the district manager is homophobic as well, you’re disgusting and I hope you read this.

As a former assistant store manager, my advice don't ever work here. Nobody shows up for work so be prepared to basically live there, or get made to feel like garbage if you don't wanna work a 13 hour shift. Store manager plays favorites and doesn't know how to manage a store. Blames everyone else for how poorly run that store is.

I pretty much know where everything in the store is because of how well it's laid out. If I don't feel like driving to a bigger town or city to grab an "everyday item" I'll go here because it's closer to my house. And it's probably just as cheap if not not cheaper with the fuel I'm not burning by driving further.

Went there today the store is a mess. Carts full of products in the way in every isle. You cant get to anything or move because of all the stuff. The store is getting bad this is the second time I went and it was like that. Even hard to get to check out because of all the stuff. Not good it was never like this before.

This had to be one of the cleanest Dollar General I have ever been to. Did not shop around much, but store was very easy to navigate. The cashier was very friendly as well which is hard to find these days!

I absolutely love the associates in this store! I visit from Alabama frequently and come to the town of Ovid and these people here are always friendly and smiling! I cant say enough great things about these associates!!!!!

Closed 10 minutes early on a Friday night. I called, figuring this has to be a mistake. That is seriously early on a Friday night concidering your the only store other than the gas station.... right? So, after your supervisor Jennifer hung up on me twice, she informed me that i was wrong, she had only just locked the door a moment ago. Mind you i sat in the parking lot long enough to watch 4 other customers drive in and leave. When i hung up with her at 8:56... by the way that is still early enough for her to have opened the door and corrected this... i was force to make a decision to drive 25 minutes to Walmart or go spend an arm and a leg on 2 pills at the gas station. I am beyond furious, i shop this specific store atleast 3 times a day. To be treated like this was completely uncalled for. Fix it!

It's a great place. Some days are better than others. It seems they change workers alot. Some don't have a clue but some are there willing to help on the spot

Great selection for a small town forgot cooking pans for camping and a few other small things and they had them all.All the employee were great especially the cashier.

The staff and management are always friendly, courteous and professional! The location has an excellent selection of merchandise! A go to place for my wife and I to shop!

Very slow, always a long line through the whole store. Average time spent in line 10-15 minutes. Workers like to stand around to see who will do there job for them and talk.

Isles too crowded. Not much room to get around. Not able to get a wheelchair around. To me it is a fire hazard. All the stores are this way. This one is new and it still is crowded.

Good place to grab something quick and don't have to wait for a long line of people. Grabbed some stuff for my wife and it was name brand or could have gotten generic.
