K&G Lodge was the perfect spot for my family to stay while we attended our daughter's college graduation in the area. The two-bedroom cabin, with full kitchen and living room, was rustic but clean and met our needs. The shower was powerful and hot and the owner was friendly and responsive. If we are in the area again, we would certainly stay here again!

Kinda shocked by all the good reviews. We stayed here for work on a 4 day trip. We got back to our cabin really late at night after working all day to find our cabin door was left open all day by the cleaning staff! Luckily nothing was stolen. Another one of my group members had blood stained sheets. My bosses room phone was ringing all night on the first night. It was just a bad experience.

K&G Lodge is the best of the best. My boyfriend and I have gone up with his Dad for the past 3 years and every single time we have had a great time. I caught the biggest fish I’ve ever seen with Top Gun which was a 28 pound king salmon and man do they fight like crazy. Even though I was nervous about losing it Greg and Mike were awesome help and we got it in the boat! Aside from the fishing the resort itself is beautiful and the log cabins are awesome. They can sleep 5-6 people comfortably and it’s an awesome experience with friends and family. Another thing that is amazing in the hospitality. The entire Gehrig family are the most down to earth people I know. If you’re a customer it’s like your family from the moment you get there and walk in and the door. K&G Lodge is a 10/10 star facility and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to have a good time!

Nice comfortable clean cabin, has everything you need, just bring your food.I’ve been fishing Lake Ontario for 25 years, brownies in the spring and salmon in the fall.K&G is by far the best outfit I’ve fished with.Whether you are fishing on Top gun or Son of a gun.Father and son Captains, work hard to put you on the fish.

What a Friday we had. After getting canceled a month because of the weather. I drove up Friday and made it there to fish with Chad on the Son of Gun. What a awesome day fishing for salmon. I stayed memorial weekend at one of the K&G Cabins. Besides the great price, the service was excellent and the rooms were clean. Also the AC and appliances worked great which was important with it being 95Degrees. Captain Greg and Chad also gave me many fishing tips that helped me catch fish through out the weekend. For whatever reason my old company books here in the spring and fall to do work at the nuclear plants down the road. I've stayed in both the lodge itself and one of the cabins. They're dirty. The floors will turn your socks brown. One of my coworkers had to go buy an air purifier because it was so bad. The beds are hard, uncomfortable spring mattresses. The wifi is terrible almost everywhere except for a couple random spots. I honestly don't think this place has had any sort of renovation in the last 20 years. I suppose if you're coming up to go fishing all day then it'll do since you'll never really be inside, but if you have to be here for any other reason, just don't.

August 2017 was our first time visiting Oswego NY for a salmon fishing trip with Capt Greg. We camped at their campground at K & G Lodge and had 2 days booked for the fishing trip. We had such a good time fishing and a great time staying at their facility we couldn't wait to book for this year. Capt Greg and his first mate could not have done more for us out on the gorgeous comfortable boat and worked their tails off to make sure we all caught beautiful salmon. Kris and crew were awesome and SO accommodating at the campground too. You just felt like old friends from the moment we first said hello!

Great place to stay and great people running the lodge. Plenty for the kids and family to do and close to the best salmon fishing on Lake Ontario.Captain Greg is not only the owner of the lodge but also runs a charter business with his son. Without a doubt his boats are nicest and best rigged boats on all Lake Ontario!

This place was perfectly comfortable and quaint. I liked that the K & G Lodge is located close to but not in Oswego. Having said that, it wasn't particularly clean and we had quite a few bugs (mostly ants and spiders) in our cabin. It worked perfectly fine for business, but my wife wasn't too fond of it, and I certainly wouldn't make it a romantic getaway.

WE stayed a couple of years ago and had a great time! Great staff and amenities.The reason for todays review is because of our fishing trip on 7/2/20.I requested to catch king salmon and /or steelhead as I had never caught these two species. All 5 of us caught a king or a steelhead! Largest king was 22lbs which was caught by my youngest son on his first ever charter! WE had 11 hookups and landed 5 nice keepers (this was on an afternoon trip)! I have been on several charters on Top Gun and Greg and Hunter never disappoint.Thanks guys, Kevin B.

I have K&G apparel that I wear almost every day. I get questions about it all the time and when somebody ask I tell them they're nothing but the best. If you really want to have an awesome time catching big King Salmon look no further. Everything here is exceptional from the facility itself with amazing log cabins to the beautiful boats used out on Lake Ontario to catch your trophy. Greg and Kris along with Chad and others are the most down to earth people you will ever meet. I've been fishing with them for years and I look forward to every August because I know it's time to go get the big boys and that's what we do. They work their tails off to put you on the money and they won't stop until they find it. If you have a son or daughter who like to fish or even just you and a couple buddies who want to have an awesome time this is the place to go!

I have been Salmon Fishing in the Pulaski area for over 35 years. I have been making my reservations and staying with K&G for over 30 years! Their cabins have all the amenities to make our five day trips comfortable and relaxing after a good or bad day out on the river! Kris and her staff are always accommodating and and a pleasure to speak with! Yes, there are places closer to most of the areas that are fished, the close relationship established is priceless.I will be giving Kris a call within the next four weeks to make reservations for my 2024 trip.Nearby activities: Salmon Fishing!

Comfortable room, very clean although furniture could use an upgrade.RV area looked great from what I saw and the cabins were attractive as well.My only complaint is the early check out time of 10 AM.

We had a very good experience with K and G Lodge. the folks running it are extremely friendly and helpful. my husband, myself and four of my children stayed in a cabin for the weekend while visiting my son at SUNY Osewgo. the cabin was clean, and a great size for a great price. it had everything we needed, and suited us perfectly. if you are looking for something with fancy amenities or new updated features, this might not suit you. but if you'd like a quiet place to crash at the end of the day, with more space than a hotel room and no one thumping on your walls or ceiling and super nice folks, consider K and G. all of us we very comfortable there and I appreciated being able to cook our meals and having a bit of living space, and being ten minutes at most from the college. I'm sure we'll be back! 🙂

We paid over $400 dollars for two nights in their deluxe cabin. It was completely filthy. We had to go and get raid and lysol. The pool was disgusting. Our refrigerator door had a stain that could not be removed. The website said it had a restaurant not true. The attendant who checked us in made us wait while she smoked her cigarette with the pool guy who didn't fix the pool during our check in. They had a roll of paper towels in the so called deluxe cabin and we wiped the floor to our shock the paper towels were completely filled with dirt. This place needs the New York health department to shut it down. We will be requesting that shortly. DON'T STAY HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE FILTH

Friendly staffThe grounds are kinda small.Appears they will have some childrens play area, there is bathroom, shower, and laundry, but I didn't go in to see the set up or how clean it's kept because it's still off season.No ampa theator n such.Close to town that had a movie theater and shops.

August, 2015I can't say enough about our stay at the lodge. We stayed to attend the renissaunce festival and do some shopping, and take in the speedway. We were less than five minutes away from town and the speedway. It is a very clean, comfortable, and quaint place to stay. The lodge is very nice as well. Although we didn't see inside the cabins they too looked very cozy. Think next time we will try one of those. There is a fridge and microwave in your room, as well as a little table with two chairs. If you like the homey feeling stay here. if you are going to compare to a holiday inn suites then don't choose a lodge. I can't say enough about this lodge, loved our stay and will definitely be there again next year. Thanks K&G.

The lodge is a great place to stay in the area. We stay here every year during the end of August. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and good amenities. This is a pretty basic lodge so don't expect anything to fancy but it is great for a simple place to stay if you are in town to fish or for other reason.Grills available at the pavilion area, pool, ice for sale. Etc.Will be back for sure.Thanks for everything

Rented a cabin. Clean and rustic. Beds are comfortable with clean linens. Housekeeping took out our garbage and gave us clean towels. Kids really enjoyed inground pool. Cabin has AC and cable, full size fridge and a stove top.

This destination is primarily seasonal sites and cabins, but Kris was eager to accommodate our two night stay at a full hookup site! Our spot was spacious and level with nice shade and decent cell signal and cable reception. While it would have been nice to have a fire ring and picnic table, we weren't at the campsite much to have needed those amenities. We loved that this campground was pet friendly, and the paved lanes made it nice for walks! Everyone we met was extremely kind and welcoming, which was so nice! We were in town for a wedding that coincidentally fell over Harbor Fest Weekend and a fishing derby, so the area was certainly busy but we found this campground incredibly quiet...hardly any vehicles driving through the campground throughout the day and minimal road/train noise. But the location was perfect...only a few miles from downtown Oswego!
