The Orient Beach State Park has much more to offer than its beach. The beach area is nice although pebbly like many of the beaches on the North Fork and there are life guards who looked insanely bored since there was no one really on the beach when we arrived. The wetlands are really spectacular and you can get some great bird watching in of you bring binoculars or a telephoto lens. The osprey nest on the platform they set up is great and they were definitely at the nest when we drive by. You pay a per car fee at the gate. Definitely worth a visit if you're going to go to the point as well.

A beautiful park at the end of the island. A peaceful beach that I would like to visit in the summer, but my guess is that it gets crowded.

Beautiful park to visit to walk and to have a nice time with family and friends, if you like to collect sea shelling you are going to fall in love with this place, the park usually close at 6pm if you are considering coming to the park come early because the parking is small. If you come to the park respect the wildlife and don’t liter so we all can enjoy the park. Beautiful park.

Very beautiful and not over crowded. There is barbecue area and kids has play ground. The best spot for family fun and picnic 😇. Mask is required for enter the park. If you plan to go then go to early. Because when parking lot full park authority don’t want let you in.However I like this park very much.

A beautiful park in a great location. We couldn’t help but stop and stare at the abundance of lichens all over the trees! Can’t wait to come back in the summer.

Absolutely beautiful place and well maintained facilities. A gorgeous drive in and out. Bathrooms, showers etc. available at the end as well as a lot of playground equipment. Wish I could've taken more pictures but I was the driver so you get what you get. We came in November, it was beautifully overcast but it gets dark shortly after 4pm so keep that in mind.

Gorgeous, secluded area in Orient. Beautiful sunsets. Calm waters, perfect for small children. Shore is very rocky, water shoes a must. Picnic tables, grills, bathrooms nearby, plenty of parking. Bring mosquito spray. Awesome place to spend with family and friends.

Quiet and full of trails and coast line to walk. Beach is usually pretty quiet and the lot can fill up fast due to the partial capacity. Great beach to find shells on too! Kayak rentals behind bath house are a hidden gem.

Beautiful drive out East to see Orient Point beach which is a beautiful beach. There is a gift shop, bathrooms, lots of BBQs to cook out on, and a nice walking trail and bike trail. And a small playground for the kids! Right near the Orient Ferry to Connecticut!

Less crowded state park beach compared to jones beach or Robert Moses. Empire Pass accepted. Beautiful drive in. Kayak and canoe launch and rentals on site. There’s a snack bar that’s open in the summer. Bathrooms, showers, BBQ grills and plenty of picnic tables. The playground is okay, very spread out and some things are roped off. The sand on the beach is not soft so wouldn’t recommend walking barefoot.

I love this park, very family oriented. They have a Picnic bbq area and they also have things you can do like canoeing and paddle boarding. The view is absolutely gorgeous in the afternoon. I recommend this place for sure.

Been there for a day picnic in 2020 and it was crowded and waited an hour to get inside the park. Worth the visit.

Totally worth the drive out there. I was lucky enough to see deer rutting and heard bucks locking horns. The trail system isn't huge but it's still a very relaxing spot to sit by the water. I went in the off-season, mind you but it's a great recreational resource.

Very nice well-maintained park. Small stone and pebble beach. Nice beach to walk, the day we went we got eaten alive with horseflys so bring bug spray.

It's a nice park vibe being that you can sit on the park benches and watch the waves come and go, you can dip your feet in the cool waters, or you can comb through the small pebbles and shells for treasures. The beach is very far from desirable but hey this is not the Caribbean sea. If you are looking for a refined sandy beach, this is not your place. However, it was cool that they had a little playground for the kids.

What a lovely area, nice drive to get out there, has a park area and picnic area, public restrooms with showers. Trails, birds, turtles, beach walking is good. It's not a fluffy sandy beach. Well worth the drive.

It has a quite stoney beach and has swings by the beach. Not too much to do if you not decide to get into the water. It also has BBQ area.
