I was there looking for some stone, small bags of a certain color stone for the veterans monument at the cemetery. They were all out but they called another nearby store and found out they did have some in stock. They offered to have it shipped to their store or I could go there and pick it up. I opted to go pick it up. They were extremely helpful! It is a great store with great people!

You can always find something for your DIY project, home improvement, gardening, etc.Nice people, always ready to help.Very reasonably priced compare to other similar places.They do not open late especially during weekends - this is the only disadvantage ;)

I called in advance and talked to Josh. He was able to tell me that the product I needed was in stock. Finding what I needed and checking out was quick.Update: I had another excellent shopping experience at Gui's. I called in advance and talked with Zak. I was looking for 18 gauge staples and he took the time to check the stock while I waited in the phone.

Gui's made me some custom windows for my house. They took my measurements and the windows came back bang on accurate. Good price and good buying experience.When I needed a couple spare parts (kids damaged the screen clips) they came through for me again.

The lady who I asked for some assistance was very knowledgeable of the merchandise I needed. She left her cash register, took me to the merchandise I needed, and then helped me carry the items to her register and checked me out in very friendly manner. She is a real asset to the Ace Hardware 0rganization.

I purchased some bolts, washers and nuts to mount fencing hardware and git the wrong size. Since Gui's lumbers return policy was before their cutoff date I was able to return them without the receipt. Very happy with this company and will be shopping there exclusively for items I would have normally bought at the big box stores. Great place to do business.Mike M

I ordered stringers for stairs from GUI’s lumber over the phone giving rise, run and number of treads and they arrived ahead of expected schedule and fit seamlessly. Great quality of work and customer service. Recommended to all friends and Family.

I called Gui's lumber inquiring if they had a particular hatchet by ACE. They didn't but they were able to call another store to get a shipment from them. They promptly keep me updated through the entire process and when I came to pick up my order, the staff were friendly and professional. I highly recommend their location and would gladly do business here again!

Most of the time they will go the extra mile for a costumer. Helpful on delivery on large orders. But will not price match home depot so often im stuck going there. Hope in the future they may price match.

When Valu, Home Depot, Lowe's, and Amazon fail, this places comes through. Sometimes they even open a few minutes early if they see the early birds lining up on a weekend day, I love this place, and the manager is friendly.

I needed a crane to get lumber to the third floor and they had it! The prices were great, not only that but the communication between office managers and myself with the minor changes in inventory and timing of delivery was excellent. I may not need a crane next time, but I will start with Gui's for lumber.

I came here once for some 2x4s and some plywood. The staff is very friendly. I just don't like the fact that I can't see the lumber before they give me it. The two kids that work in the lumber yard tried to give me terrible quality wood, the stuff no one probably wanted. I end up having to switch out all of them after it was loaded. I recommend Home Depot in Niagara Falls, their wood is better quality, you can see it yourself, and the pricing is also slightly less.

I love Gui's Grand Island Ace Hardware Store. The personnel are helpful and 9 times out of ten I fill my needs without a trip off Island. I got the neatest fader switch for my kitchen, You set it for the level you want and it returns the light level you want every time you turn it on, too cool. Bill~
