Every time I come into this store, the customer service is fantastic. I fall somewhere between being totally clueless and an expert in all things DIY. Depending on the day! Twice recently, I came in and needed wood cut down to a specific size- even asking for that can be anxiety-inducing. Both times I had associates who were incredibly kind and helpful and I couldn’t have been more grateful! The two guys who helped me out were Stevie and Rich!

I went in tonight and had the best experience ever at this location, my roomate and I went in for blinds for our guest bedroom and were helped by Rolly! He was very helpful and attentive to our needs, and super friendly! I will be definitely shopping at this location again because of him! ☺️ next time you’re there i recommend you to ask for his assistance!

Stopped in to purchase a light switch combo that works with a ceiling fan, I was having a hard time finding what I needed until Tony from electric came by and helped me find what I needed. Not only did he help me find the right item he saved me many trips back finding what I needed the first time. Thanks again Tony for the help and informing me on the product I purchased this evening.

Had a simple credit issue that main customer service number was too incompetent to handle. I went back to Newburgh NY location and Tasha in cust service handled my issue effortlessly and gracefully. Kudos to you Tasha and thank you !

Tony from the electrical department is such a great associate ! He offered his help and took his time to walk me through different products I needed. He did with such patience and great attitude, making me feel really comfortable and glad to have visited this Home Depot location.

I am really disappointed. Aside from the typical "no one works here" issue that everyone is having, the knowledge of the staff is 0. I ran into a personal issue and needed new door handles. The last time I bought handles, there were specific left and right handles so I thought I bought the wrong one and the label didn't mention it so I went to return it. Before returning it, I asked the person at the desk but they had no idea what the lock was or how to help. Luckily, I found out that nowadays, you can change it to left or right yourself. Next, I was having a hard time finding bolt cutters. Had to go to the register and again, they didn't know what they were, where to look for them so they called someone who never came. Ended up finding them on my own. Not everyone is a contractor so a little help could go a long way but having incompetent staff is definitely not a good look.

Associates are very nice and always willing to help. Great selection on most things. Many of the Cashiers are helpful as well, but there's a couple of them that need classes on customer service. I love my patio set 😍

I am a contractor who buys a lot of materials from different Home Depots in different areas, and the Newburgh Home Depot is one of the most disorganized I have seen. Today for example I went to buy sheetrock of 1/2 "x 8Fts. X10Fts. And x 12Fts. And other things, when I went to the area of the sheetrock I noticed that it was full of wood, fences etc. etc. This is very frequent in this home depot (They block the materials because they do not order things), since they leave them piled up as soon as they pass the front door. I asked a store employee to please "help" me to move all those things, because they were blocking the sheetrock that I needed at that time, the employee's response was -THIS IS NOT MY AREA, LOOK FOR THE ONE WHO WORKS IN THIS SECTOR- After many attempts to seek help (which I did not get) I had to move all the materials that blocked the sheetrock of 10 and 12 Fts. Another problem is that in the case of the sheetrock (all the time) it is damaged on the sides. When I was finally able to get the materials that I needed and after paying I started looking for an employee to give me a hand, because there is an associate designated to help load materials in the parking lot (I didn't say with this employee).I don't like leaving bad references and burning a business, but it happened to me many times at the home depot in Newburgh.

I recently visited the Newburg Home Depot and had the pleasure of working with Dale. I needed help with lumber cutting and finding specific items in the store, and Dale went above and beyond to assist me. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable and skilled at cutting the lumber to my exact specifications, but he was also very kind and patient throughout the entire process. Dale was always willing to answer my questions and offer helpful advice, making my shopping experience a breeze. I highly recommend working with Dale for all your Home Depot needs - he truly exemplifies outstanding customer service!

Had a drill bit that broke the first day I used it. Returned it and was given a new replacement drill bit. No Hassel and took 20 seconds to process after showing my receipt. Very friendly employees.

Home Depot and Lowe's both are great places to go for everything you need for the house but the problem I always have is finding someone to help doesn't matter where you go it's the same story. Other than that that's a great place

Here’s an update on my kitchen cabinets, it’s been almost 4 months since I placed my order and three months of waiting from the expected date that we were supposed to receive them we did receive an email from them that we should expect them on the 11th of June or sometime next week that's not a definite date, hopefully, they don't send us another email changing the date will keep you updated, here's the email that was sent

This Home Depot is usually fully stocked. Most of the employees are helpful. I won’t shop at any of the other locations this one is definitely more organized then most.

Most people I talk to say that the big box store is killing American business. Are they or are they providing multiple jobs for millions of people? Do they provide great products with the highest standards, I definitely think they are. I believe that if Home Depot wasn't a big box store, Lowes would have outrageous prices. There has to be a check and balance system in some form or fashion. Competition is the key.The only thing that I don't like is that they stock their selves with what they decide, so I end up having to purchase online. Because what I want is cheaper than the items in the store. That forces me to shop around. Since I have to do online shopping I end up buying from another vendor 🤔 so I believe it balances out in the end.

Absolutely my favorite home improvement store officially... Every time I have a concern or I order something, if I have an issue, there are excellent managers like Jamyz and store associates like Bonnie, Tina, and Morgan (in flooring) that will resolve those problems. When the contractor who was delivering my flooring decided to not do their job, Jamyz, a manager at the store, stepped in to complete the delivery. They go above and beyond at this store!!On another occasion, I was having an issue with receiving my military discount and I was having difficulty with the new program that is being used at the store. Customer service store associates went above and beyond as a team to help fix this issue so I could use my military discount that day and in the future.What can I say? This store is very veteran/military friendly, they go above and beyond, and they have integrity. I highly recommend this Home Depot for your home improvement needs!

Possibly the worst home Depot I have to shop at. Disorganized inventory, carts all over the isles with garbage or items to be stocked. When I spoke to the manager he seemed to care very little because he likely hears the same complaints every day. Made no effort to address any problems and offered excuses and to help look for a part I had already had two employees look for. Employees will have no desire to care or work when management shows the lack of caring they do here.

Great place always has everything I want or need. My only issue with the home Depot is when you ask somebody for help it's not their department they say yet they won't help you find someone's that does work in that department or even try to help themselves because they may know that answer but right away they say not my department and that's just b*******. Cuz I work there for a little while and if somebody had a plumbing question and I worked in the wood department I walk them to the plumbing department and we found out what the guy needed and everything else just by talking with him and asking questions we figured it out together. And if I couldn't answer him I would have found somebody that could have but not everyone does that it's very frustrating that's why I don't even talk to the people when I go there now I figure it out for myself
