Really really great place with sooooo much variety. You can spend hours in here, easily. We came several times while we were in town and were pleasantly surprised to hear that they are not only dog-friendly, they are dog lovers. We were greeted by the friendliest staff who made sure to give them treats and pets.Yes, they’re expensive. But I’ll put it this way:I’m from Raleigh, NC. we have a good amount of vintage and antique stores and before coming here… I thought they were pretty decent. The selection and quality here is amazing and is priced as such. If you’re a lover of beauty and uniqueness, but also of owning a piece of history, you’ll understand why items cost what they do.Be sure to stop at their other location for an even bigger warehouse and some yummy coffee!!

A MUST STOP IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY BEEN TO THEIR OTHER LOCATION WITH 100 VENDORS! This location has around 40 and every booth is so unique from art deco to modern you can definitely find something for anyone, I had a great time browsing and I will definitely be back to indulge in more of the furniture with more cash in hand though they take credit as well!

Fabulous! It’s the kind of place I could go every weekend! Wonderful variety of items and selection, attentive staff, clean and well laid out. Will certainly return.

They have a lot of cool furniture but they also sell actual garbage (literally things people would leave at their curbs for the garbage man to pick up) for hundreds of dollars. For example, selling a rust-covered chair for $400! It's actually laughable anyone would spend hundreds of dollars on stuff like that. Most of the nice furniture is also absurdly priced. Some things are reasonably priced but most isn't.It's basically like a cooler Goodwill, with more nice things but with a 1000% markup.

This place is so much fun. I love the variety of antiques and vintage items you can find. But be prepared to spend $$$. It isn't cheap flea market pricing. I gave 4 stars because of how expensive everything is, removing only 1 star because it's individual vendors who are setting the pricing for their own items for sale- so it isn't up to the owners of the store. It's a very eclectic space and you could def spend hours here.

We came here for the first time recently and made it about a half hour before close. We were immediately greeted and asked if we had been there before, we said no and the woman told us about the booths and store as a whole. She was super nice and I appreciate that we were not judged by our appearances. The store is big, very clean, very open and you can actually walk down the aisles AND in most of the booths!! If you've been to indoor flea markets, antique markets and thrift stores with booths, you know how small they are and how oftentimes, it's hard to even shop the booth because it's so packed. This place is leading by example of how indoor markets like this should operate, not just in layout but in the kindness and helpfulness of the employees. As for selections (and to counter some of these negative reviews) It's very important to note that this place is more in line with an antique store than a goodwill thrift store (it literally says antique store lol). Antiques are not cheap, something other reviewers seem to not understand. While there are thrift-level finds here, it's more antiques which comes with a high price tag. This place isn't a flea market and everything here was nice, in great condition and they had many sought after styles. It's worth checking out, even if you find that the things aren't your taste or price range. But being nasty just because you personally wouldn't pay these prices and are uneducated about what you are looking at, doesn't mean things are overpriced junk. Some could be, and I'm sure some are, but that's everywhere, not just here. So if you come here expecting to pay dollar store prices for antiques, go elsewhere. I found some books on punk history that were half the price of amazon and in great condition, so I loosened the purse strings for the whopping $12 for two very new books (lol sense the sarcasm). Me and my friends will be back again.

Such an awesome vintage store, they have separate booths from different vendors, with their own individual styles A lot of mid century modern pieces. Love this place

Not from around the area and stopped by to check out the shop. Wasn’t aware of the hours. Walked in the building at 5:54 and was greeted by an employee stating that they close in 5 minutes in an unpleasant manner. My husband and I always try and stop by vintage shops and this one looked really appealing. It’s just unfortunate that business had to be turned down just because they were closing in “5 minutes”.

Excellent place... My first time going there. I heard a lot about this place, but I couldn't go until today. Big place , well organized, plenty of antiques and old staff. If you are a vintage lover, this is the place to visit. Friendly staff and a big parking right at front. A lot to see and a lot to buy. I recommend this one, that's for sure.

I almost never leave the Newburgh Vintage Emporium without SOMETHING! Last week it was a unique Cooper salt & pepper holder for my kitchen countertop. I personally like the one located closet to the Newburgh Beacon Bridge. I find it to be more manageable. While there's also great finds at the Ware-House location on 17K, it takes much longer to look through all the vendors.

I could open a store with the great finds I’ve discovered at either the Emporium or Emporium Warehouse! LOVE this place and great staff!!

For a trendy thrift store in New York, especially one so close to NYC, this place is a gem. Yes there are certain vendors who are a bit pricey, but you can find plenty of great deals here plus there is usually a little wiggle room on the price if you ask nicely. We scored this beautiful vintage light for around $65. Also, they have classic, vintage style candy!

Great place, visit often...might be getting a bit pricey due to rejuvenated antiquing/vintage popularity and "Best of Hudson Valley" awards.

This place has a lot of great finds! It's a little pricy but I guess that's what you get closer to the city. The items were separated into well-curated rooms like at IKEA - very cool!!

We spotted this gem when about to get on the 84 and decided to stop in. So glad that we did. The selection is interesting and fun to peruse. The sellers all have cool items in excellent condition including china, antique maps, and industrial things, old tools, traveling trunks, coats, hats and accessories. Coming from nyc I’d say that their pricing is fair :) Definitely worth a visit and the woman who helped us check out was so very nice.

Fabulous selection! You’ll need several hours to roam and browse through this giant space of secondhand treasures, including …..well, everything you can think of! This is a unique layout somewhat similar to a flea market where each seller has their own designated space to display their wares available for sale to the public.

Pricey, and several booths without prices. I didn't find anything here, but it was organized and well laid out

Store is set up so vendors have different booths. Some interesting and unique items. Highlight was an Indian motorcycle with side car that was on loan from a museum. See the pics!

This was an impromptu visit as we waited for our friend trying to find stuff to do. We came here from Minnesota for a visit and while our friend was busy with something we visited and it was the best antique store experience we've ever had. The staff was so friendly and we left with so many neat trinkets. You can easily get lost and lose time with all the neat treasures there are! Definitely something for everyone and a wonderful shop!

Beautiful store with lots of variety and finds! We took home a cute potholderv with chickens and a lovely geometric cat statue that reminded me of one my late grandmother had. The store has lots of variety. Lots of records, neat furniture, clothes, knick knacks, jewelry, home decor, you name it. Layout of the store was crisp and not at all crowded or too busy - very thoughtfully laid out booths. Helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Lots of good stuff to see!

It has a unique flare, prices are high, but that's how it is... Everywhere. Also there were many Asian "antiquities" -that flat out were reproductions. It's for sure a fun destination for the Treasure Hunter or the Interior Decorator..... Just outside the urban jungle. :-) --] ( ´◔‿ゝ◔`)━☞ᕙ(♡

I realize that the Emporium is using a formula like most other business like it where numerous dealers have a cubicle that they pay rent for...this seems to be the way that a large building can pay its bills. What I do see when I frequent businesses like this is that much of the items for sale are still available months later. I would think that the reason for this is not only demand for these items but because of prices. I'm also thinking that many of the sellers obtain these items from estate cleanouts that they get paid to do. If they are happy with their prices, so be it but I find myself leaving these businesses with nothing that I have purchased. Eventually I will get smart enough to not even enter them.

Yes! Get yourselves over here this place is amazing. The employees are all so helpful and kind. Theres so many aisles and so much stuff to look at and see but it's all so well kept and organized that it's not overwhelming. I have a ridiculous passion for postcards, they're such a unique piece of history. This place did not disappoint. Found one that even came with a note/description of a favored spot nearby that ended up leading to an adventurous day. I'm sad it took me so many years to venture inside here this place is a gem!!!

One of my favorite shopping trips...I always leave with a treasure...or two. The collection is very eclectic ranging from vintage 80s music to primitives. You can even snag some vintage clothing and accessories (see straw hat) there. Make it a day trip and eat on the Hudson in one of the great Front Street restaurants nearby. #captainJake #vintage

You won't find any bargains here. Expensive. But even more contributory to my low rating was the incredibly offensive racist items I found for sale. They actually had a black face lawn jockey for sale for almost $400. Who would buy a piece of trash like that? Who would sell it? Shouldn't that go right in the trash?! Why try to profit from overt racism? My girlfriend is mixed race and she was appalled. We both were. It's disgraceful. Didn't matter what else was in there. Those racists will never get any of my money or business, and they shouldn't get yours either.

Now that I have moved upstate NY this will be my go to! I love vintage items and want to repurpose my home with old mixed with new. I bought an amazing vintage french Victorian desk for my home office studio. I love it. It is amazing. I have just been waiting for the right chair to join it. I have went back and peeked and I will co tinie to peek. Additionally i have snagged a few vintage tea cups for my business. The vendor booths are clean and great.

Amazing store, obnoxious staff. The selection and organization of items are incredible. Great finds. Also: they post their store hours as open till 6, but every time I’ve dared set foot in the store after 5:30 I’ve been followed around by aggressive employees (usually one older, blonde woman) and told about every three minutes that they’re about to close, that they don’t get paid overtime to kick people out after closing time, that it takes about ten minutes to do a security sweep before they lock up, etc. Yesterday at 5:35PM I was literally followed around by a woman ringing a bell to warn me that the store was closing; she approached me at least six times. Today I had to stop and listen to a woman explain closing procedures and tell me the square footage of the warehouse. Don’t tell your customers you’re open till 6 if you’re going to spend the last half hour aggressively trying to get them to leave. Just say you close at 5:30 or pay your employees enough that they can stay till 6:10 to close properly. Or at the very least, if you tell a customer they need to be out the door by 5:55 and they assure you, repeatedly, that they will be out the door by 5:55, believe them and leave them the hell alone.
