Bihari was highly recommended by our trainer, Frank and when we had to leave for a week to go abroad we left out lab/ pit mix with such a caring and more than capable staff. They were so reassuring and completely put my mind to ease prior to our trip. But, the proof was in the pudding when we returned to pick up our happy, well nourished puppy.This summer, we would not even think about using anyone else. Even though Bihari is an hour and a half away from us and the opposite direction of where we were heading we once again made the absolute right choice of having Knight stay at Bihari. Upon his arrival he was so happy to see his friends from months ago and was wagging his tail away with delight when they led him to his home away from home. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our baby!!! We will see you again soon!❤️

I picked up my pup and he was happy and in good shape, I had to drag him out , we’ve been using Bihari since a year and a half and never had an issue with anything regarding my puppy, it’s a place that I can always count on for any day I need to drop him off and it works amazing with my schedule and holidays. I love Bihari and their prices too!!

Preface: I'm usually very easy going and understanding - not overly picky. However....I would give this groomer a negative number if it was available.Never take your Samoyed here. I have a 12 and a half year old male Samoyed from a championship line whose coat has been ruined because they did not follow the instructions they were given when I dropped off my dog. He is very well trained and easy to work with. I brought photos of his relatives to show how I wanted him groomed. I pointed out a picture on their bulletin board of a Samoyed who they had shaved, and told them to ABSOLUTELY NOT do this. The receptionist said she understood. She said we know about all breeds here. I asked if I needed to speak directly with the groomer to be sure my instructions were clear. She told me no, not necessary and that he was too busy for me to speak with him.Samoyeds have a double coat, which should not be shaved. The coat insulates them from hot and cold. Once the outer coat is shaved, it never grows back the same.I was shocked when I picked up my dog. His outer coat had been sheared off. The girl at the desk rambled on with excuses about being short staffed and my dog wanted to sit down alot. NO EXCUSE!It breaks my heart that this is how he was groomed after being very well cared for during the last 12 1/2 years. His coat will never be the same. This is not just my opinion; he saw a well respected groomer today who empathized with my Samoyed's situation and agreed, he will never again have the beautiful silver tipped outer coat he has worn all his life.Save yourself and your Samoyed the heartache - DO NOT use this groomer.

We are now used to bringing our dog to Bihari every time we go and highly recommend it!For an extra 5 dollars a day, you can have someone play with your dog.In addition, last time we asked for grooming and nails trim, so we got our dog back happy and groomed!

The staff at Bihari Kennels take excellent care of the cats and dogs. Your pets are happy there. My dog loves going there whether it's for a day board, grooming and/or an overnight stay.

This Boarding and Grooming Kennel is no longer what it used to be. The customer service is horrible and the facility is dirty and smells. We recently left our dog there and she got very sick. The person working the front desk does not even seem to like animals and was really rude to other customers.

I’ve been going here for years. I’ve boarded my large dog there and upon his passing, used them for my small dog. I’ve used the grooming as well. They always do a solid job and have the best rates in the area. It’s an affordable facility. The only issue that seems to be recently is that they are understaffed, don’t pickup the phone or return calls. It’s tough to schedule the past year.

I brought my dog here a few times but the last time was the last straw. My dog came back from staying overnight with a tick on her forehead, smelled like she was rolling around in urine, and has dirt all over her. She's a rottie so the tick immediately stood out to me. When my husband and I called, the receptionist at the front desk was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her response was "well she's a dog that rolls around in the grass so..." No apology was offered. No call about something strange. I will never put my dog here again. I do not recommend any overnight stays for your dog. It doesn't seem like they have it together at all.

This is the only place I trust to bring my long haired dachshund. She gets her fur all tangled up and matted in a matter of minutes (or so it seems) to the point where I'm too nervous to brush it out/trim it myself. On the rare occasions where it gets that bad I'll take her to Bihari. She always comes out looking beautiful and smells great for a week afterwards. There's a reason they've been in business for generations--they're one of the best around.

This was the first time I visited here for a grooming of my dog and I am satisfied. He got a good grooming. The employees were welcoming and friendly. He price is reasonable. I would take my dog there again. I recommend this place. They also Train and house dogs.

Please do not go here. The lady at the front desk is extremely rude and not professional. She talks about her Haitian boyfriend, and she yells at customers. I was there while she was yelling at a customer over the phone. She was saying that the customer and her husband will be going to jail. She refused to help the customer in a professional manner. It really does not matter what the circumstances regarding the situation was, it is always imperative to maintain professional behavior in business. The anger, hate, hostility, and anti-Semitism radiating from the workers, and the place in general is terrifying.

When I first moved to the area, I was looking for a place to board my cat for when I was doing renovations and painting so he wouldn't get into things. Bihari took him in and treated him as their own. He was very happy when he came home and if anything more playful, I think they spoiled him! Now that I have a dog I get to use their grooming services and they do a great job every time my dog's nails are always nice and she always smells awesome when she comes out. She almost pulls me into the office because she loves the staff so much she just wants to play with them. I highly recommend bringing your animal here. 👍👍👍

Been going to them for the past 3 years now. They treat your dogs like they were in a spa (almost better than humans) and my GSD definitely loves the staff. Go there for boarding and grooming, their prices are reasonable!

Been going here for years. Service has definitely diminished. Prices are ok, but my dog stunk of urine, as did his bed I brought. Girl working counter disappeared to get my dog for literally 15 minutes and returns with no explanation. Will be finding another place. Not recommended any more.

When you go to their website it makes you believe that this is the place every pet parent has been waiting for. Not just some petsmart, WRONG!!! First of all for a business who has allegedly succeeded among well to do people the place certainly looks abandoned. Put it this way: they still do things in paper. The place stinks like old mop. Second of all, they take the whole day with your dog. They will tell you drop him off at 8am and pick up at 4 or 5. I have gone at 7pm and my dog isn’t ready. Lastly my biggest issue of all: they will ask of you how you want your dog groomed and do something different without even giving a call to ask if that’s okay. Now while I understand some dogs can be difficult to groom again a courtesy call to let the pet parent responsible of any changes to grooming is professionalism.This incident happened a total of 3 times. In my opinion, they are using whatever reputation they gained years and years ago from prominent customers and using it as a means to keep business afloat. But perhaps they should invest in a computer and and a front desk appearance.Paula( Tony the yorkie mom)

Top marks and high praise is the very least i could say for Mr Bihari and his world class staff! After extensively dealing with another kennel and training program and then switching to Bihari Kennels I can say, without question, this is the best Kennel and training facilty. Mr Bihari worked personally in training me and my 2 pit bulls and the progress is astounding. I know have a better understanding of how to effectively reinforce the skills he gave us in the program which is the recipe for successful training. We will continue to work with Bihari kennels and will always recommend them for training, boarding, grooming and all things pup!

So, let's say that if you need someone to cut your dog's hair you can go to Bihari kennels it is a good place for your dog. It's beautiful and the people are nice.

Do not leave your pets here, take them anywhere but her. A while ago I left my 4 dogs here and when I retrieved them my poor pit bull looked like he was in a fight. When I left him here he was healthy and friendly but when got him back he was dirty, half his weight and had scars over his body. The workers leaves the poor dogs outside in inclement weather and they are not properly treated nicely. This place needs to be visited by the department of health and closed permanently.

We just picked up our two cats from this place. We were expecting the cats to gobble down our cans of wet food, but they didn't, so I guess they were fed very well. The condo's are pretty big. Service was nice, you can tell that these people care. We would definitely use Bihari again!

I am so disappointed. The chopped my baby! We asked to not touch the tail and ears and they did! When we went to pick him up he was NOT himself he was scared and nervous! He loves being out the window when the car is in motion ...he wouldn't even go near the window!!!!! He's been groomed before and he has NEVER acted like this.

Can't say anything bad. I've been to few groomers, by far they are the best. If your groomer tells you excuses why they couldn't do a service because of your pet's behavior, then it's the groomer, not your fur baby. This place proves that to be a fact!

Do not go to this kennel!!!!! I use come forever and now the new management is terrible. They had me waiting on the phone for 35 minutes and then when I told her hey I been on the phone waiting she said I don’t care call back and hung up!!!! If they treat their loyal customers like this how do they treat our pets who can’t speak.

I took my lab/basset mix dog for the first time to Bihari last Wednesday because we were travelling to Massachusetts for Thanksgiving. I have to say it was not my first choice but equally say that it will be the only place I take her to from now on. She is less than two years old and had never been separated from us for more than a few hours prior to this. I picked her up this morning and, though she heard my voice and saw me, was quite happy to go with the young man who brought her out. She then started to growl but we soon discovered the reason for this was because she wanted to give the girl who had checked her in and was now checking her out a big hug. When she placed her paws on this girl they were at shoulder level!! We will DEFINITELY be BACK!! Thank you Bihari! They were concerned that my dog had the necessary shots to protect her and also the other dogs in the facility.

Bihari Kennels I’m sorry to say after I took my Spike there I recently found out the Groomer who was doing my dog Spike slammed his face into the sink when Spike groweld at him causing him to have a bulging red eye! The owner who had been told by another groomer what really happened because he was grooming another dog in the same room, but lied to me and said it was swollen because he was so upset about being groomed. Really? You guys suck to let this go unpunished! Apparently the other groomer who I work with now informed the owner and they did not care! Never going back....you’ve been warned!
