Owners should get out of the food service business. Can't hire good help. Whoever does hiring must base it on looks not on ability or experience. Let's put 10 people on the floor that can't cook water. Meat prices are so high. Think you got gold? Baked selection is priced like Starbucks. It's worth the drive to shop elsewhere. Owners want to line their pockets with the sweat of hard working people.When the new store open s in Ellenburg. I'll make sure to shop elsewhere, as should everyone else. Company is trying to monopolize the market.

This store has severely gone down hill, shelves during this summer were empty during several visits roughly 2-3 times a week, ice cooler was empty on the holiday weekend. The deli was out of one of its most biggest selling meats and their next order wasn’t for 3 days away per employee. Some of the girls that run the register are rude and very unfriendly to the customers. I seen one senior lady was trying to get her money out of her purse and the cashiers said very rudely “you know it would be faster if you just payed with a card and not have to dig for your cash.”. This past weekend I ran out of propane for my grill in mid cooking(my fault). So I went for a tank exchange and cashed out the lady lady said she would buy a few mins cause she had a customer she was helping at the deli and then would be right out. Ok I understand that cool. But as I sat out side near the tank exchange watching the inside and looking at the entry door I viewed 8 customer walk in and cash out as I sat there for 15 mins waiting for my tank. And she sent a different employee out to help me when she noticed my standing at the window with my hands up in confusion. I believe the owners the Monette family should really look in to this store and it’s staff. I know lots of people who have now gone else ware cause of the employees behavior. I for one can not wait till the dollar general is open and bring my business there instead. As of now I am shopping else ware even if I have to drive 10 miles just for a dollar item I will just so I don’t have to deal with the rude employees.

I would like to start off as if I could give this business zero stars I would in a heart beat. The employees are extremely rude to the customers. The older lady with black hair and glasses I believe her name is Anne is the most rudest out of all there employees. And the most unqualified person to be working there. The food there is not great by any means and there should be a regular visit 5 times a week from the health department I knew some of the workers that used to work there in the deli part and got fired because they refused to serve people rotten or expired food. I take my business to champlain now until the dollar general opens. This place needs a complete over haul or to be shut down!

Very rude staff. No customer service skills. Is it that hard to say simple things like "you're welcome" or "have a nice day" instead of "yup", mountain mart staff? The older woman with glasses that's usually at the register should just retire or not work in the customer service field because she's never nice to the customers. Some of their stuff is overpriced. Their gas prices change twice a day by five cents. One morning on my way to work it was $2.80. On my way home from work that same day it was $2.85. The next morning, back down to $2.80. I know someone who got a sub here in the past and the veggies on it were slimy and the sub itself had a rotten smell so anything from the deli, I would check before paying for it. The list of cons with this place can go on and on. I've never had any good experiences here and quite honestly don't blame the locals for wanting a Dollar General. Would be better if Stewart's took over this business. The Mini Mart in West Chazy has my business.

I don't like stopping here during the day. The lady with the glasses that runs the register is rude to me. She has the personality of a cardboard box and makes me feel Very unwelcome. I try to avoid it at all costs-Even driving to Champlain instead of stopping here. By contrast-the girls at night are not always the brightest, but at least they have customer service skills.

The other reviews don't lie. This place is sketchy as h@ll! If you use a CC or debit card, watch that they don't run the charges twice. Prices are outrageous,store isn't very clean and yes the staff aren't good at their jobs and have attitude to prove it. Hopefully the new Dollar General puts them out of business.

Monica Charizard did nothing to help the other staff members when I went in today during a major rush I’m leaving 5 stars because of the good service by everyone else every time I go in she’s always on her phone never wanting to assist me. Management should look into hiring someone better or even a chimp

Totally inconsistent with food, expired items being sold, hold on cards at the gas pump for $90, (not their fault or problem, call the gas company), when you contact them via social media, they leave you on read, absolutely horrid customer service. It's literally the WORST "convenience" store in existence. I purchased the beer in the image this evening. AUG 27TH 2021...... stay TF away from this place.

Store is nothing like it used to be with previous owners(L&M). I don't even like stopping here anymore. Need to get some advice from previous owners....I will be glad when Dollar General opens.

I go gas up there once or twice a week from Canada and staff is very friendly and their meat choices are good.

Im tired of this store they over charge and are rude and the workers dont know how to do anything.managers need more training.store needs to be more organized.
