This place was amazing. Answered the phone professionally, confirmed they had what I needed. When I arrived, they showed me where the bag of dog food was and carried it to the register, then carried it to my car. It was my first time here and I am so impressed. Going back to this store instead of the big chain I used to go to. Thank you so much!

We've been customers of this location for a couple of years now. We've had our dog groomed there many times and get other products while there. Additionally, we always donate when asked at check out.Today I brought my dog into this location for grooming. The difference was this time she was on an anti anxiety medication prescribed by her vet as she gets incredibly anxious in the car and at the groomer. In fact, last time our dog went there the workers said we should pay extra for private/expedited grooming since she seemed so anxious. During todays intake I was asked if our dog was on medication and I did inform them of the aforementioned medication. The worker - who I do not blame personally at all - informed me that our dog had to be turned away as their policy is to not groom any dogs who are on such medication.My wife ended up calling corporate and asking why and their response was that their policy is in place as they have to monitor the dogs stress levels. To me this makes no sense since the medication inhibits or eliminates anxiety/stress. My wife told the representative that we were told last time we'd have to pay extra for private/expedited grooming due to her anxiety so we got the vet to prescribe the medication.

I've been using Hanah for years! She is the best there is. I have a Siberian Husky who doesn't like to be groomed but Hanah spends so much time and love on her! My dog Maya just loves her! If you are looking for an awesome groomer who really truly loves her clients, then I highly recommend Hanah she is the best!!

This is one of the best locations, the staff is always friendly and helpful. I have been bringing in my beagle for grooming monthly with the same groomer for years. Hannah is such a friendly and professional groomer. She has a way of calming her down for her bath and keeps me updated on how's she's doing. My dog always leaves her grooming appt smelling fresh and clean and sporting a new cute bandana. I highly recommend bringing your pets to their grooming services.

We love this location! They have a nice pet wash area and it's always clean and stocked with clean towels. A few things that I didn't know that I wish I did know was that if you prepay for five washes they give you a good discount. I also didn't know that you have to pay for the wash first. I've been coming here for quite some time and the cashier informed me that you have to pay for the wash first. Nobody ever said anything to me so I didn't know we always paid after her bath. Hailey usually grooms, Harley She always does an amazing job and harley loves her. She will treat your baby like it's her baby!!! All the pets and butt scratchies when we come visit her to go shopping Harley loves her pet supplies plus besties!*Miss Harley cause WHY NOT 😊❤️*

Best location on Long Island from the moment you walk in your greeted by smiling faces asking if you need assistance with anything. Staff at this store is always Friendly, Professional, Honest and Caring they truly take pride in everything they do from grooming to the person running the register. Because of this store I was able to find My Forever Friends Chowder Crazy Legs And Pinkie ❤️❤️ Shout Out to the Entire Staff In Medford keep up the awesome work❤️❤️

Always friendly staff who are ready to assist. The convenience and selection are just right. I love that Annabelle, Nicole, Chris and especially 💗Miss Hannah💗 know when Wilma and Frank are in the store and welcome them with love. My online orders are picked with care, and my little fur babies always find what they need. Additionally, Miss Hannah gives my beagle battalion special care when it's time for bubbles.

We had a bad experience but I would say the management team truly cares for animals and their animal loving customers they quickly addressed my problems and even offered us crickets for our hungry beardie. This is our local pet store and we truly love it so it’s important to us that the relationship be a good one.

I absolutely love this store when I shop in the store there is always someone available to assist if I need help, they offer great prices and deals for either everyday shoppers or store card members, and they help out animals in the community with food donations for rescues/shelters. Today I had the pleasure of getting a delivery directly from the store for the first time and it was amazing it arrived within 24 hours and Kelly called me to tell me she was on the way with my package and wanted to make sure I was around to receive it. In my package I also received some free samples as well as a beautiful hand written note, which really makes you feel special and appreciated as a customer, this made the whole shopping experience lovely and I'll continue to use them for my pet needs.

Took my Goldendoodle for the first time when he was about 12 weeks old Now he’s 9 months! Sam, from the grooming department does an excellent job ! Never fails to impress us ! We love her ❤️ Also I get his treats & toys from here and the staff is always soo nice and caring always attentive and asking if we need help with anything!

I love this pet store in fact it’s the only place I goTo shop for my spiky friends. Staff are amazing and not to mention they spend time with these animals as if they are theirs , so when someone comes into the store to buy that animals for their forever home.. they become awesome pets bc of the staff working with these animals. Sold an injured parakeet. After investigating injury, we realized its leg band was embedded in its leg. .. we are caring for it now without their help or support. They would only exchange it, or we could return it for a refund.. Took to a parrot facility and was told there was nothing that could be done except to wait for the leg to die off, and then he would live normal as a one-legged bird. They could have at least offered me back my purchase price to put towards care.. At least the bird is in a loving environment with people that will go the extra step... UPDATE, the owner responded with an apology and wanted to discuss it further and sent me a link to contact.... It's the same page I filled out several times.. no real communication from higher up then store manager.. Ridiculous.. If they really cared, they would have been more accommodating and offered my purchase price to use to care for this bird. Going forward, I won't buy another pet from this location.ANOTHER UPDATE: I returned the bird on Friday (9/1) so they can treat the bird, I called twice today and neither person I spoke to could give me a update on how the bird is doing, neither person even knew the bird was in their wellness area... When I brought the bird back it was so they could treat the bird and get it better, and then repurchase the bird for my daughter. My daughter is very concerned and misses this bird and just wants to bring it back home. Both staff people today were rude, and how can you not know the bird was there???? Didn't anyone feed it since it's back.. my review updates seem to be the only way Corporate addresses the issue, BUT dosen't reach out directly to me... All I want is for the bird to get treated so I can bring it home.

This is one of the best pet stores around. The staff always remembers me and addresses me as a neighbor. I have purchased many healthy fish and the staff is more than knowledgeable on all of the fish. Because of them I am on my third fish tank successfully. They always give me the option to special order fish.

Not welcoming on my first visit to this store. Too "strict" to sell fish. I felt like the sales man was interrogating me when I was simply trying to buy one fish for my son.Meanwhile I use to work in a pet store in the past and my husband knows how to take care of fish.You're suppose to make customers feel welcomed. I do not appreciate this horrible experience and just for that, I will NOT recommend this store to my family and friends. I never will step foot in the store again.My husband ended up taking our son to Petco in Selden and that was a much better experience. All we wanted to do was make our son happy.

Im 100% satisfied with customer service on the delivery end from this store. They delivered same day! A lady called me saying she was going to leave at my door and wished me a great holiday. They hand wrote a card which I thought was special and included some sample foods. You dont get this kind of service with the big pet food companies. I cant wait to vist their store and continue to use there services. Thank you!

I bout a parakeet mineral block but wound up returning it since I read that dye is no good for birds plus it stains there beaks. It was dyed pink. Other locations have the natural ones. I didn’t have the receipt but figured since it was on the credit card I would try, no luck. They didn’t let me exchange either. I gave him the mineral block anyway since I’d wind up throwing it out anyway. I would expect them to try go a little above and beyond, maybe offer to give me some spray millet on exchange, I don’t think inventory would notice them being short since they couldn’t exchange me for something else. I also recommend the carry iodine block. This place is lacking what we need for parakeets. Well, I’ll just have to shop elsewhere.

Sam the employee was phenomenal today. He helped my Mom and I find a cat collar for her ailing 20 year old cat.He was so Kind,Caring, and Sympathetic to our needs with our situation. He was very knowledgeable and showed us in great detail how to use the product. He should get a raise or promotion for his wonderful customer service for us. I love the employees here, they are always so friendly and helpful. It's close to my job, even though some items may be pricier than the big box stores I appreciate the convenience. My One Complaint would be I've gone there/ordered online for pickup from them a handful of times, and have left with nothing or cancelled my order because they did not have the items in stock. It said in stock online, and it wasn't there. A bit frustrating when it happens a few times. Other than that, great location for your pets needs.

I love shopping at Pets Plus in Medford. Everyone is always so helpful and their prices are always very good (coupons). Plus they will match online pricing. They have a self service Dog Wash too. Much neater then doing it at home.I highly recommend them.
