I went to the Macedon New York Lowe’s today and I have to tell you I am so sick of incompetent people that can’t do their job correctly if at all, I went there today to buy a nail gun that they had on sale. They had one in stock of course, for some reason it wasn’t the right number on the box, but it was the exact same nail gun they had on sale, the sign where are the nail gun was was still on the wall saying that it was on sale and they won hundred percent refused to sell it to me. They told me it was a different nail gun was exactly the same as you can see in the pictures below exactly but the manager of the store wasn’t confident enough to have one of his employees go switch out tags. I wasted an hour of driving out of my way an hour there and an hour driving back hope maybe someday this place could hire some management and employees that could properly run that operation.This place is absolute trash. I was treated like absolute trash all the way up to the store manager, highly recommend taking your business toHOME DEPOT at least there they will honor their mistakesUnprofessional from the start

I have a question? Do you have a dog policy for your store in Macedon? Evertime I shop I see someone walking around with their dog. Yesterday I saw someone bringing in a full size German Shepherd with a muzzle over its mouth. I love dogs but has it ever occurred to you this might be a little scary for some shoppers. How can you assure me that I won't get bitten while iam shopping? Are you liable if I do get bit in your store? I really don't think they are all service dogs. Are all breeds allowed in your store? If you can shed light on this I would appreciate it.

Typical Lowes..well stocked and options other stores don't offer in store. Assistance when needed can be challenging. I personally am not the guy who needs someone asking me every 5 minutes if I need help but folks in the right department can be impossible to find when you do need them? When you do get someone though they have always great and willing to help however they can

I purchased a samsung dishwasher and stove online through my Macedon Lowe's. I only gave it 3 stars because of the customer service when I called. But I installed my dishwasher it was level and installed correctly. Decided to run a test run. First a code came up and then water preceded to come out from under it all over my hardwood floor and in my basement all over my stuff. The drain on the dishwasher inside was leaking. Then I had to shop vac it out as it wouldn't drain them a PCB code came up. I had it one day never even used it once before the problem happened out of the box. Stay away from Samsung first off but I have to have them come get it take it back to facility in Syracuse and wait for my credit. Who knows how long this will take. I don't have another 500 bux laying around to go get another one in mean time. I hope I don't have to pay for another delivery or I will drop it to 1 star and update my review. The review falls on Lowe's as they carry these products from Samsung and there is a long list of problems with Samsung dishwashers. I discovered this only after I dug deeper into my troubles.

I would say you really need to know what you're after when you enter this Lowes, as there's next to no service or employees to be found, but even when you don't have any questions, things never seem to be stocked on shelves. You have to wander 10-12 aisles to find an employee to ask them to grab a stair ladder to retrieve something from overhead. Frustrating when the website says an items in stock, but buying it is anything but quick when you head there to buy. Home Depot in Victor is worth the extra 15 mins for me.

I went to this Lowe’s to exchange a tool box for a different color. It took over an hour for them to get it and when asked we waited more to have someone help us get it in the car! Thank you to kind Pedestrian for helping us as they had plenty of staff standing around that could have helped!

I like Lowe’s but they need start carrying Milwaukee tools. The craftsman and kobalt stuff is a joke, and who wants dewalt. Picking up Klein was a good move. I’ll stop going to Home Depot if Lowe’s continues improve their tool selection.

Its a great place for home needs. But to be honest, i had a hard time finding assistance. That does not deduct from the quality of the products. Lowes is still my goto place when a brand name is important.

I’m mostly here for the houseplants! They have a nice selection of healthy looking plants. Staff here is very helpful at this location.

Carpet quality fair with obvious snags in the berber. Installation poor with seams rising. Went to store 12 hours after carpet put in. Spoke with department manager who reassured followup. After several emails and pictures to both carpet manager and district 3 weeks later there is no response.

NO HELP for DIYers.. wood full sheets were available but MADE UP POLICY that they will ONLY DO 10 CUT same size per customer purchase, just because they want to sit on chair & wait for someone who may or may not come.. getting ready to do NOTHING..I wanted to buy 9 sheets & I requested one horizontal & one vertical cut per sheet so i can fit in my car.. & the MADE UP POLICY says don’t help customer who want to buy large number of wood sheet & just sit on chair or be busy moving around wood & placing at places where even they can’t find it..

I always have an extremely hard time returning any products to any Lowe's. They need to work on more seamless transactions. If I bought it here I should be able to return it here without a receipt!If Walmart can do it you can do it too.

This was almost a zero! Ordered a grill online that got messed up. When I finally got ahold of someone that cares. Cheryl from procurement department figured out what happened and followed it through every step plus called and updated me every step of the way. Thank you!

No one working at the registers, however only 1 person working at register in nursery, very long line. Went into store, all self check. There was at least 5 people standing around at the returns, another cluster! If I wanted to do a self checkout I would but long lines there too! Not all of us want to use self checkouts. It’s Saturday, put some of your employees at the registers! Didn’t buy a thing!

order kitchen cabinets on line, It has been an awful experience but it doesn't even add up to today's experience. Sandy, Lowe's kitchen representative STAY AWAY. Not a nice person at all. It was actually unbelievable. I would stay away from cabinetry at all costs.

I have had nothing but problems with this store. I have been shopping here a LOT during a remodel. So why 4 stars?? Went to return a bunch of items and was met with more issues than I will mention. Store manager was HORRIBLE to speak with. Total lack of professionalism.My 4 stars go to Sam at the customer service desk. She was there during the whole interaction . She waited on me the second time and handled the transaction flawlessly. Great job Sam. I appreciate your time and patience. Thank you!

Went to Lowe’s looking for some appliances for a new addition to my home. The guys working in the Lowe’s were very friendly and knowledgeable. They looked at products to let me know what was readily available, and what I would have to wait on . Really appreciated their honesty and their knowledge of their products.

I went to lowes macadon Sunday 6/18/2023 for 2 bags of mulch and some top soil/ I walked into what was the bulk area, 5 guys were standing there laughing ang joking, and not a one would help me I was told to go to main store. I walked off in a huff and stated what a poor customer service they had so all could hear. At least one person did hear me And offered to help me. Found what I needed and loaded it in my car. All the while the rest of the group was still laughing and joking, still with not a customer in sight. Except for the the one guy the customer service at Lowes is as low as it gets. Not sure I will ever shop there again, and bye the way I am almost 70 years old and these kids would not help me and thought it was all very funny

Long story. Macedon sent me to Greece because they were out of stock on an item. Greece had the item but wouldn't give me the same price.I was told that I opened a credit card that I would get 20% off my first purchase. After I got the card in Macedon, Greece told me I could get the 20% off but I can't use the credit card for the purchase..... Isn't that the whole point?I just wasted 2 hours and walked out with nothing..... Bad business. But do they really care?

My husband and I bought a floor model GE outdoor tree after Christmas. It did not come with a box or paperwork. It was 40 percent off, but still cost $110 dollars. We put it up and loved it, until it quit working within 10 days. We returned it to Lowe’s but we’re told they didn’t accept Christmas returns, and instructed us to deal with the manufacturer, even though we had no info on how to contact them. They offered no assistance, and the manager stated that this was Lowe’s policy. Beware when buying seasonal items. If we knew we couldn’t return the tree if it kinked out, we wouldn’t have bought it.

Never can find help when you need it. And if you happen to find someone, chances are they won't know what you're talking about. Better off going to Home Depot where their staff are trained in their respective departments. I waited 20 min for a simple propane cylinder exchange.

Today I visited the macedon Lowe’s location and had a great experience. Dan was very helpful and attentive. He was quick to offer help and dropped everything he was doing. I did not expect him to do that but was very grateful.

Better selection than the orange store but fewer employees to help out.On second thought. Waiting 15 minutes for pickup. Seriously understaffed and some that are there are very lackadaisical.

Lowe's usually has what I need and is generally cheaper than Home Depot whenever I have compared the two. The first vegetable plants and fruit trees are in!
