Our family had to make a hard decision to put our dog Buddy down, and the moment that the vet suggested it everyone was very thoughtful. I received a heart felt card in the mail signed by everyone. One of the nicest Vets iv been to in a long time . Iv had my amamals taken there for the past 13 years and was never mistreated and my amamals always came back healthy. There prices are very competitive also.

If you love your animals especially cats please DON'T take them here, especially to the female doctors. I brought my cat there and she gave him a medicine to gain weight and in 3 weeks he gained 3 lbs of water where he couldn't walk or even breathe anymore so after 6 weeks of giving him that medicine I had to put him down because he was so weak the lady vet that gave him that was also very cruel she jammed him in his hip bone to give him a shot as where Dr Hamilton was nice put it in a skinful of his neck and shook the medicine in which didn't hurt him if you love your animals please please don't take them to Lyons Veterinary specially to the female vets they're very sadistic

I can not say enough about the staff at Lyons vet clinic, they’re very attentive to not only our pets but take the time to reassure us people too. Erin especially is so understanding and will stop & take time to explain & reassure also. I’ve a 6yr old 3.5 lb lil pooch who means the world to me and it’s comforting to have a staff that will take the time to make sure you the pet parent are confident in their treatment.and dr wolfer & Hamilton are simply the best! Thank you all you guys at lyons vet clinic!

Yes they are good about fitting your pet in and giving you any help they can. They don't really specialize in felines. They really only do basic care. Yes they have a great caring staff. Would I recommend them, only if you have a dog.

Just had my two boys fixed there they had to spend the night do to working late they seem fine . people complain about prices going threw the roof and they have .it ain't the staffs fault , people need to make a living to .only complaint I would have would be waiting for someone to answer the phone but I get it there always swamped with people all in all thanks for taking care of tater and Ralph

I know prices are going up but please hear me out. I have been going to Lyons Veterinary Clinic for around 10 years, they've always been great as well as affordably priced. Just last year we brought in one of our female cats to be spayed the price of the mandatory bloodwork and shots was around $80-$90 her spay bloodwork included came to around $360-$380(I'd have to dig up the paperwork to give exacts amounts)not too bad right? Well last friday we brought in another kitty to get her bloodwork before getting spayed and it came out to $222 and something cents. There was no forewarning on the huge price increase we wanted to puke and of course we paid, but we did also ask for an estimate of the spay knowing that it would more than likely be a high increase as well. It was an estimate of $334.29, so all in all it would be about $557 for a typical spay on a female cat. I'm not sure if the old practice sold and this is a new practice going off of their good name or if they really just hiked prices up that high quickly, but I definitely won't be going here anymore nor will I be recommending them. (ANYTIME anyone has asked for a good affordable vet they've always been my recommendation.)
