Great vet. Saved our puppies life that had parvo virus. Provided top notch care and service and were very patient with us throughout a terrible experience for us and our dog. Over the years I've moved around the northeast and had multiple different vets for dogs. None come close to Dr. Ken and Lori. Highly recommend.

Dr. Ken is amazing with our dogs! He gets back to us with any questions we have if one of our dogs is not feeling well even on the holidays. All of the staff here are super nice and make both our dogs feel very cared for and comfortable anytime we come in.

I am so happy we switched to Dr. Bedell! The entire staff is amazing, and Dr. Bedell is very thorough and knowledgeable. He (and the staff) genuinely care about my dogs and always take time to listen to my questions. Knowing heās there if we need him in the event of an emergency gives me great peace of mind. I highly recommend!!

Wonderful for my fur babies and the vet is a very experienced good person who is helpful and truly loves his patients! Front desk and all who work there that I've met here are kind, caring, and informative and I trust them with my four legged family. Clean and just all around nice place...close by me which is a plus!

I recently called Dr. Bedell on a Sunday afternoon while in NC in a panic not knowing what to do with my dog who was having issues. Dr. Bedell called me back WITHIN MINUTES!!!! ... while he was enjoying a hike on a beautiful day in NY in January. He was so nice and listened to what was going on and calmed me down. He then reccomended that I take the dog to an emergency vet hospital in the area ... which i did ... Thankfully it was not a huge deal and I was very happy he made that recommendation!!!Dr. BEDELL and his staff are always kind and helpful and very knowledgeable as well as so compassionate and understanding!!!!I am very thankful for all the staff and Dr. Bedell !!!!

I have used this vet over the last year for the care of our cats. In particular, my older cat has diabetes and needs extra TLC as he receives 2 insulin injections daily. Over the course of the year the relationship with the clinic had been positive. However, in the throws of a recent personal/family crisis I realized I had not remembered to fill the cat's insulin by mistake. I will absolutely own that. When I called the pharmacy to refill it on a Saturday morning, I was informed it was out of refills and that they would contact the doctor before they closed at 12:00 pm that day. When we went to pick it up, the pharmacy had filled syringes (which we did not request) as opposed to the Basaglar insulin we needed. I do not know where the breakdown happened, but when I called the doctor's after-hours line to have it sent in urgently, he called me back and was heated and yelling at me over the phone. He actively shamed me for not filling the prescription in enough time and told me "this should NEVER be an emergency and had better not happen again!" He also became irate and attacked me over the number of syringes I have requested. At one point I had asked the vet center to move this prescription to a different pharmacy for convenience. However, when I learned how much they cost, I called the vet center back and asked that they cancel those refills and send it back over to Walmart. The support staff told me that this was no problem at all. I have never filled the script for any extra syringes. As a health care professional myself, I well understand the ramifications of this. On the emergency call with the doctor he told me I had requested over 2 years of syringes and that "that's a real red flag because drug abuse is a real thing!" I'm not sure if he was accusing me of being a drug addict or of doling out syringes to addicts, but this accusation was highly offensive. The call ended with me in tears in the middle of a public space with my family members. It felt as if I was being scolded like a little child by an angry parent. I have legitimately never been treated so poorly by a professional in the medical community. I will no longer be using their services as I am actually anxious and scared to ever need to ask them for help again! In reading some of the other reviews out there, it appears that I am not alone in being shamed, yelled at and attacked. Previously I had recommended this center to SO many people! Never again! I was so caught off guard by his behavior on the phone and the hostility he showed toward me. I then received a one sentence letter in the mail a few days later stating āitās evident from your behavior that we are not a good fit.ā This is the first time in my life I have ever felt compelled to leave a review for a business. I felt like I did not even know the person who contacted me that day!

Highly recommend. A friend recommended me to Dr. Bedell. Great vet. Gave my 12 year old catahoolah rescue a more thorough and complete examination than she's ever had and gave a reliable diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. Extremely knowledgeable, caring and competent. My dog will enjoy a more comfortable and active old age because of his knowledge and skill.

My cat had a bed reaction to something last night, and even with their vet Dr. Ken being very busy, they still managed to fit me in and take care of my kitty! very reasonable prices and extremely accommodating. even being busy, they took their time to ask questions and they listened to me, which isnāt always the case other places. would recommend to anyone who is looking for a vet!

Dr. Bedell is compassionate, experienced and extremely knowledgeable. He will go the extra mile to make sure your pet is given the best of care and I highly recommend both him and all of the staff. He cares for all my animals, including my cat, my two difficult rescue pit-bulls and my nasty chihuahua lol, and of course all of my numerous horses. He also assists with our equine rescue work and his been extremely helpful in some very difficult and heartbreaking rescue situations. Thank you Doc Ken!

Regular small town vet right? NOPE!!! It's a cover. Doctor Ken is literally a superhero! Lorie... his fine young assistant! Together, in the middle of the night, they can work miracles. And in times where very few, reliable options even exist, they excell!!!! I thank God for their knowledge, experience, compassion and professionalism under fire. We can not begin to show enough appreciation for LVC.

Dr Ken and his staff have been and continue to be great with my high maintenance bulldogs. They are thorough and I personally appreciate their commitment to continuing education and innovative treatments. I've used them for my horses as well and would recommend them to anyone looking for a competent small or large animal vet.

It's wonderful to find a vet accepting new patients during Covid. The center is set back from the road a few hundred feet so look for the sign and then the building is easily seen to the east. Busy, so a drop off and pickup later in the day is easier to schedule. They provided medicine so we didn't need to go anywhere else to get it.

Usually dr ken is pretty good my grandma use to come in with my other cat buddy which he always had a good attitude towards her and was informative on how buddy was doing during the visit ⦠today we werenāt able to bring both cats in so we brought our kitten in and his attitude was NOT kindly to be around sorta to say . He didnāt say much on how she was or didnāt put much input about her . Me and my mom were disappointed. We had forgot her main record which was a simple mistake so I understand if he was irritated about that he DIDNT have to see her if he didnāt want to . If he was upset i couldnāt bring my other cat in today then i donāt know . This is not my real name itās just a username so but we did have a visit today

While they are accommodating with appointments, they are not transparent with pricing. I called specifically to get pricing so I didn't experience the bait and switch I have experienced before. I was given a total price of $65 over the phone and ended up paying $118. Nothing is itemized until you are walking out the door with your paperwork. I was basically 'punished' twice on one receipt for taking my dog to tractor supply for vaccinations. I was charged $15 to inform the receptionist that I went there, (after I was previously charged $15 for "Medical Record Transcription" on a different date. When I called back asking why the wellness visit was $45 on the bill when it was $20 over the phone, the receptionist said, "I was surprised too at the price of the wellness visit, I should have consulted with the doctor. It's because you've been going to Tractor Supply." They really don't like customers going to tractor supply!If you contemplate the cost of an item for even a moment, they reason if you don't get their services, you won't have access to their care in an emergency. It's a very uncomfortable position to be put in. I can't do this anymore. I'm finding a more professional practice that doesn't conduct business like this.

Dr Ken is hands down the best vet around he's very knowledgeable and makes sure his clients not only understand what's happening with their pets but why. The vet center is super clean and very well staffed. Employees are more than helpful and accommodating.

My experience with Dr Ken Bedell and his staff has been extremely positive. As a cat/ kitten foster, I have made many trips to LVC and highly recommend them. He is very knowledgeable and thorough during office visits and quick to respond by phone when needed. The staff always manages to find an open spot when necessary and I have never had a long wait. Everyone is pleasant and efficient while juggling the requirements of COVID 19 protocol.

The Dr and staff are all kind, considerate, and have great bedside manner for both your pet and you while keeping things above impeccable in your animals health care needs. Have been taking my dog to LVC for past two years. Never disappointed. Recently had minor surgery to remove lypoma and pleased with care. Relaxed atmosphere and zero sales pressure. I have switched my cat care from Honeoye Falls Vet to Lima Vet. I dropped off something to them for testing for my new adoptee, Charlie, and they were really nice and came to the car, masked, to get it from me. Also really nice is the fact it cost me $20 instead of $35! Thank you!

Dr. Bedell and LVC have been superb in treating my animals! He was my regular horse vet for years and treated my beloved horse with so much compassion - always able to get there immediately if there was an emergency. He also recently saw our bunny in an urgent situation when our regular small animal vet was unavailable. We were so thankful he could fit us in and see our bunny a couple hours after we called! He's worth the drive from Rochester.

I'm sorry, what terrible Customer service.... I call at 4pm on a Thursday, am placed on hold foI 10~ minutes.... When she finally comes back it's obvious that EVERYTHING was going to be a HUGE INCONVENIENCE.... 3~ weeks out minimum for a rabies shot and a wellness visit? REALLY? I bought my last dog here and paid thru the nose for some last minute traige... I get that... But this should have been a WELCOME! A MEET AND GREET!?!?! SCREW YOU LIMA VETERINARY CENTER..... If you're too damned busy to pick up the phone and make an initial appointment for something seemingly so simple as a shot and a wellness check of a HEALTHY animal..... I will drive to Rochester where at least they are friendly and accommodating!!!!!!
