No cash registerHe writes down what you bought and adds it up ,no price gun prices on items all hand written. Does not understand the concept of credit or ATM card .

Terrible service not friendly at all can’t ask them any questions without them being snappy .. I spent lot of money on pellets all bags ripped on side they can’t handle anything in there their response is put tape on them ...not professional at all ...moldy chickens pellets food definitely not referring anyone or going back in that store... giving them a zero 👎🏻👎🏻

Friendly people, old fashioned service, they will carry heavy items out to your vehicle, and an amazing selection of stuff, if you are driving by take the time to stop in odds are they have what you need.

I have been a customer of Bob Alley's since 2000, when I decided to cut my carbon 'footprint' with a wood pellet stove. (I own a three-story townhouse, so its vertical orientation is perfect for a basement-placed stove.) Bob's primary business is assisting local farmers, as it was for his father and grandfather Milton. But early on, he realized that pelletized wood could be a great replacement for oil heat. It sure is for me! Milton Alley AGWAY delivers a ton to my door three times every heating season; he handles one of the best brands out there, New England Pellet. I am pleased to buy NE Pellet because they process the pellets only 130 miles away, right here in New York (Deposit). He carries a wide variety of hardware, plumbing, and farming tools...but what makes conducting business here so pleasant is the demeanor of the staff, who treat every customer like an old friend. I'll be driving there in the AM to arrange delivery of ton No. 1 for 2013-14, and looking forward to it.
