I had gone to buy a few things and In the process picked up some Italian sausage to make for the family. Oh my God the brand I picked horrible sweet Teresa's or deans never again. How could you even try to sell such item? Don't buy!

Shift manager pushed my cart upfront while I was doing instacart. It was late and I don't move my cart much while shopping. He did it a second time, I believe he knew it was mine being a wiseguy. It's also more expensive than stop & shop

Expired/moldy items on shelves. Bought a six pack of individually sealed corn muffins from the bakery section. Opened them 2 days later and they were moldy. Bought bridge mix (from by the deli section) ($10+) - nuts tasted stale and old.

I really appreciate when they take my cases of water out to the car. They’re very respectful and they never say no I appreciate that.

Yesterday I went there with my friend. We were walking around and getting things. One of the managers with shortish hair started following us. He finally came up to us and started harassing us for doing absolutely nothing. We are both 13 and 14 years old. Then he assumed we were stealing and proceeded to try and grab us which then we said stop. Next time we go we will record and get photos of him. Also key food is disgusting and the produce is always not fresh. DO NOT GO YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

Insane prices. A can of soup for $5???! Regular Progresso soup. The little Campbell’s chicken noodle soup cans were like $3.50. Absolutely crazy. Also their lemons were overpriced and not fresh as well. I guess there was a reason no one else was shopping there at 6 pm on a Saturday.

Every time I go to this store, I immediately regret it! I only go bc it's the closest and for a last minute item. Today was one of those days. I get there's inflation but seriously, key food... $5.99 for lettuce?? Any lettuce! Even iceberg. SO sickening. I walked out and went to Whole Foods and the lettuce I wanted was $1.99/lb. I could not believe it. How is this store still in business? These prices and selection belong in a little grocery store out in East Hampton, not Kings Park.

I shopped here out of convenience (no supermarkets open as close at the moment). Expired things on the shelves on numerous occasions (inclusive of baby food)! Last week I brought to a cashiers attention an expired item that I tried to purchase. It expired in April, it’s now July! I come in again a week later and the same item with the same expiration date is still on the shelf. I brought it to the manager , to which the response was that it was my fault I didn’t bring it to management initially bc the cashiers aren’t the people to report the issue to! Beyond poor customer service the Main issue is that shelves are not reviewed as regularly as they should be for the prices they charge!

The store is very over priced, like shopping @ 711 type prices. Nothing is cheaper in this store compared to stop & shop. I go here only when I need like one item. The produce is horrible, very expensive they don't sell much, so the produce is old and sometimes even moldy. They got rid of self checkout for unknown reasons, so the lines get long when 4 people check out @ once. The store is like straight outta the 90's, no tech at all, and NO cameras... I hope a lidl opens there, or any other chain. Keyfood is horrible

Have not been here since the renovation. The place is so much larger and cleaner than it used to be. Unfortunately they didn't have the product I was looking for. In past this was the only store that carried it.

This store is horrible. The produce they sell is moldy and their staff is clearly underpaid and unhappy. Customer service is non existent. Will never shop there again. Waste of time, energy and money during these times. During a pandemic your produce is consistently moldy and not taken care of. While I support small businesses, I truly wish you luck for better times and hope the hygiene of your store and produce will improve for the sake of others.

Price gouging - possibly the highest prices on the Island. A can of Progresso Split Pea Soup 5.00, whereas it is 2.00 at Walmart. All of their prices are like this, It is shocking! Don't support them. If you want to save 40-60% off your grocery bills go elsewhere! This is not an exaggeration

Once the renovation are done this store will pick back up. I love this store because of the employees are so helpful and great. They are always willing to take time out to help and go out there way. People give the store some time. But people are always in a rush for result when the best results come with time. I will take this store then the our big commercial store where no one helps and all they do is hire these young kids that don't know anything.

Clean store however very overpriced. The staff acts as if you're annoying them by purchasing items. Never a hello back or have a nice day. Just overall incredibly rude!I wish they would bring back self checkout so I wouldn't have to deal with their nasty staff. This with the insane prices have caused me to shop elsewhere. It's unfortunate because the location is so close to home.

The remodel was a success. They now carry all kinds of specialty foods such as clotted cream, different nut butters, specialty cookies and nice produce. People shop there more now and it shows! Produce and meat are now always fresh instead of hit or miss. Great job on fixing this store!

This is possibly the most disgusting supermarket I have ever been in. It smells like an open sewer. If you shop there, check the dates on the food carefully as they are very slow to remove expired food. In addition, the stickers on the shelves never relate to the food directly above the sticker itself. This is actually against the law. And, check all containers and boxes as they may have been previously opened and replaced on the shelves.UPDATE 2022. Place still sells expired foods. Labels on shelves still don't match items. Check all sealed items, as many have been previously opened and put back on shelves. Sour cream, for example, and screw on bottle tops. Smells a little better, but not much.

After the renovation the store is easy to shop with an expanded selection of sometimes difficult to find merchandise like Sarabeth, and Boar's Head condiments. The fruit and vegetable section is small but has what you need. The Deli and Cheese section is expansive with a good selection. In essence the store has all you need plus. A very good neighborhood Supermarket with friendly folks.

Totally upgraded. Items have good dates. I always check as no store is perfect. Produce looks fresh and is well maintained. Deli items also appear fresh. The renovations were great this is a much better store now.

The only good thing about this store is the employees. Most are nice and helpful.Prices are outrageous, cleanliness is questionable, check you expiration dates!Under new management, will see if there's any improvement there.

In this time of panic and uncertainty, I have to commend key food. They provided disinfectant wipes upon entry. The staff was helpful although anxious, but remained courteous while being questioned by anxious patrons. The shelves were mostly stocked, the only thing we couldn't get was eggs and meat but they had milk and plenty of bread and canned goods.I used to think key food was unsanitary, but I have to say after their renovation they are much cleaner. Sure they are more pricey than most store, but in a time of need for all of us, key food stepped up their game.

I Shopped in this store since I moved to Kings Park 20 years ago. It was never a great store but it was adequate. I no longer go there. The place has been under renovation for the last 8 months and it is disgusting. The produce department looks like something from a third world country. I now go to Stop and Shop in Smithtown by the bull, and the trip is worth it. Stop and Shop is a much nicer store with plenty of bargains.

This review is specifically for the store located in Kings Park.Since the renovation is finally finished, this is now a great store. The deli is very well-stocked with salads, cold cuts, and even entrees like turkey meatloaf and eggplant rollitini.

Terrible excuse for a grocery store and I rarely go there. Not going there anymore. Today I went there and bought two things of frozen yogurt. It's November 2015. One container expired in October 2015, the other March 2015.Would totally rate 5 stars if I was trying to get food poisoning.

It's is very simple product are frequently out dated, stale or bad on the shelves.Unless it's on sale it is over priced. Why they do this in my opinion they have a captive older demographic and are taking advantage.

It has a good selection of produce, very good meat department, the deli department has a large variety of foods, meats and cheeses. The store is a little pricey. It's mostly for convenience, I wouldn't recommend family grocery shopping here.

I've defended Key Food in the past because I've been warned that their prices are outrageous.. I have to agree after my experience today..a bag of Terra Chips I normally pay $2.99 for rang up as $6.79!!!Not this lady!! Sorry, but I don't understand that..I did however pay $2.99 ea. for small bottles of Starbucks bottled coffees...I pay $2.79 for the large bottles normally..how do they stay in business I do not know!!Not shopping there unless it's an emergency!
