It's nice to have a functioning liquor store in the village again. But that description kind of gives this place shot shrift. It's really a marvelous store. About how many liquor stores would you ask yourself the question, "I wonder if they're going to light that fireplace in the Winter?"; the proprietors has maintained the architectural features of the building. The prod selection is excellent and they have frequent tastings and other events. What's not to like?

Beautiful store. Excellent rose selection! Very knowledge and friendly owner. I like that there's a cozy lounge area in the middle of the store. Great for winter!They have regular food and wine pairing events in the courtyard. We were dying to stay for the oyster and lobster rolls.😋 Looking forward to coming back when we're next in this adorable town!

What a lovely wine and liquor shop in cute little Kinderhook. The selection is well curated across many well known and unknown wine regions and you can get an amazing daily drinker at the same time as an impressive high end bottle. The owners are super helpful and nice and the tastings are fun! Highly recommend!

Lovely store with a really knowledgeable, friendly staff. The primary selection is wine but they have canned cocktails and a small selection of quality liquor and hard to find liqueurs

The best place to shop for wine & spirits in Hudson Valley. They have an amazing selection at a range of price points, and very knowledgeable owners to help you choose. And love the location - part of the new Kinderhook Knitting Mill, with Morning Bird and other shops opening. Definitely worth checking out.

For 40 years I have shopped for wine from Soho to San Francisco, Berkeley to Brooklyn, from Palo Alto to Paris, and I buy pretty much anything with alcohol in it. I can honestly say this is my favorite bottle shop of all time. Why its in Kinderhook is kind of a mystery, but I am so glad it is. Reasonably priced, great selection of European windes, totally plugged into contemporary trends (pet-nats, organics, varietals), super-friendly (non-snobby) owners, and a vibe that more like a wine bar than a store. Tastings every Friday. Right next to the Aviary.
