Some items are way overpriced but the general experience is good. The bakery is delicious and the vegetables have a good variety. They always have cassava both, frozen and fresh. Also, you can find items like tapioca flour and Milka chocolates. A very good local store.

I love it because it has a neighborhood feel rather than giant corporations. Employees are always willing to help and very kind. I have been shopping here since I was 10 (soòoooo 35 years 😭). Just a laid back vibe and no drama.

Great product selection... BUT, every time I've shopped here, including today, the cashiers are absolutely MISERABLE. Sorry, but I'll continue shopping where I see more happy faces. Maybe have a little "staff meeting" to boost some morale? It can't be that bad to work there, can it?

A remnant of what was once a major supermarket chain in CNY. This store has a unique blend of hard to find candy, craft beers, snack foods, and Cornell Dairy products. The prices are fairly competitive, and the service was decent.

Favorite local products selection in Ithaca for year-around shopping! They even have local micro greens! I also go here for the ice cream selection, fresh coffee selection, local beers, and eco friendly cleaning products! I love this store

ZERO STARS, Rude AZZ cashier acted like I was inconveniencing her cause I was bagging my groceries when she didn't lift a finger or offer to help!What do they pay their employees for? They certainly don't pay them to be courteous and helpful!!! It's no wonder their store is always empty, no one wants to be treated like that.They will be the Next grocery store to Go Out of Business in Ithaca and rightly so. I will NEVER shop there again!

P&C's store layout, especially it's produce section, makes you feel like you're at the farmers market. The displays are easy to browse, the prices are better than Wegmans, and the staff are kind and helpful. I'll definitely be back soon.

I really enjoy this supermarket. It's a little bit more expensive than some of the nearby markets, but has a really cool selection of foods. There's a fancy olive bar, as well as a wall of bulk coffee from local roasters. The service is also phenomenal. Clerks frequently recognize me and say hi. Also major props to the store, recently I bought some bulk coffee that had clearly gone stale, and they took the return with no issues.

I always love coming here. Walmart may be cheaper for some things, but for better quality on things like produce and for more unique selections such as deli meats, I prefer to go to P&C Fresh. Plus the meat department tends to have good deals, and I LOVE their donuts that are always made fresh each morning.

The meat and fish deals are amazing. They have an inside bakery,but also carry other local baked goods. Cornell dairy products are available. Customer service is always excellent.

Solid fully stocked grocery store, and it's a locally run co-op! They have all the essentials and more, and a decent selection of ethnic food (Hispanic and Asian).They don't always have *everything* that I need, and their produce can sometimes be a bit old. But feels good to support local businesses, and the location definitely fills a niche in East Ithaca.

Great store. Nice selection. Fresh produce. Butcher department, fresh cut meat and seafood. Excellent deli and bakery!! The doughnuts are amazing! Clean, bright and welcoming. Friendly and dedicated staff, many are career employees who I have greeted there for years. Convenient area, nice big parking lot, reasonable prices.

NEW REVIEWI'm updating a past review to give special recognition to a particular employee. I believe his name is George. I an not a social friend of George but I do consider him to be a kind and helpful friend when grocery shopping at P&C. Kindness and helpfulness in a stores employees are two of the traits of how of I choose where to shop.***************OLDER REVIEWThis is a local grocery store which serves a very important niche within our community. They are open 24/7. The staff are always friendly, polite, professional and honest. There is a new Walgreens next door so there's no need to run the traffic gauntlet on Friday afternoons for dinner and a prescription. The store is not the behemoth box of downtown so they may not carry all of your favorites. I've had this happen twice in about four years and after asking the manager if they would be willing to carry the product for you convenience. Both times when I asked, within two weeks the product I asked for become a regular shelf item. The restrooms are clean. The deli has a nice selection and is also very clean. Employees are always willing to help you find what you're looking for. I've always been "completely satisfied with P&C Fresh.Thank you. Mark.

The employees of this store are so down- to- earth and friendly, the bathroom is kept very clean, and the atmosphere is structured, busy, fresh and kind. Love that I can come here whenever I need anything,. Great staff who do their best to help with whatever you need. Love the salad bar, chickens, and soup for lunch or to pick up for dinner. Produce, meats, and dairy all reasonable priced. Some packaged or frozen food is a bit more expensive than other stores, probably due to them being smaller and not qualifying for as large a discount. It's worth it to me, though to save the cost of gasrequired to travel to the other end of town. Sometimes, the salad bar could use a little more attention. But overall, this is really a great store!

I like this store a lot. Yes, prices on some items are a bit higher than at the stores downtown, but here you can always park right in front and inside you can zoom from one end of the store to the other in no time at all. Try that at Wegmans. Plus, they carry a lot of great local products you won't find elsewhere: Piggery meats, Copper Horse coffee, Cornell Dairy products, Cornell apples & Wide Awake bakery goods and produce from local farms. Try the Guiseppe's (from Horseheads, NY) pasta sauce. It's so good and you won't find it at Wegmans. An excellent beer selection for a store of its size. The place is always clean, shiny & bright. Plus I love the boomer music on the sound system. The staff is professional and helpful. The manager of this store runs a tight ship!

I come here for the amazing donuts they have here. They taste amazing and have some great decorations on them. The picture I attached has decoration for Groundhog's Day. I also love the selection they have, especially the Cornell Ice Cream they have. They also make sandwiches which I plan to try soon. I'll plan on making an edit to this review after that.

Compared to the other options in Ithaca I can't justify coming here unless you live very close or work in the area.+ Good variety(Foreign, local product, drink wall)- Prepared food is frozen quality and bakery is bucket grade- Prices(Typically higher than all the others, might even be higher than Wegman's)

This place is the east side of Ithaca's best grocery store. It has a lot of options which are usually cheaper than Wegmans. It's also open 24/7 making it a really convenient stop and shop. Also it's not very crowded so perfect for a run in and grab the thing you need situation. The staff are also usually friendly including he over night shift who are very kind and happy to help.

Great selection of deli, they carry Boars head brand which we love. Fresh produce, excellent variety of beers, many bulk spices at reasonable prices, this is where I like to buy our beef as it's always fresh and usually at an affordable price. Great place for a quick bite if you're up in the area, Salad bar at a much better price per lb than Wegmans, subs can be hit or miss, I suggest getting the boars head for a dollar more on your sub. Love this smaller grocery store over the big ones.

The donuts are fresh in store- and the BEST in Ithaca. Mostly where my rating comes from.The beef is great and when on sale it's reasonably priced, but I've never bought chicken(tried 3x, the first two I figured could've been a mistake) that wasn't spoiled(looks fine but smells when you peel the plastic off). The butchers and meat workers are helpful and knowledgeable, they do serve questionable chicken though.Never had an issue with their dairy, but I choose my milk on which has the farthest out date as we don't drink a lot of it, not based on fat percentage.Their prices suck though, unless you go for sale items.

The best store in the twon for shopping local and tasty meats, fruits and vegetables. More important than fresh food is the friendly and helpful employees of P&C that makes this place my first choice to go for groceries.
