Great place to sit and ha e ice cream with the family. Great customer service, although they don't allow returns of half eaten ice cream from children, lol. Fyi, that is a joke. This place is on point and definitely recommend visiting.

Ok, so for starters, I would say that customer service was good, I would've given them a 4.5 as they were very nice and friendly.Second, I gave a 3 star due to the fact that there was pros and cons to our visit. Pros are good, friendly, family atmosphere, nice people's, plenty of seating, and the service was good. The ice cream was also a pro and con situation as well. Our order was: x1 Reese's Sundae which was a tiny bowl not worth the $8+ but it was good as I had a taste of it for my husband, our two oldest of our 3 very young children had a double scoop cookies and cream non-dairy in a dish split among the two, and I ordered a large chocolate twist that was well worth the $6, however, I had asked for mine in a cone with a dish and a second bowl for the kids order so we could split it.Was charged for the extra bowls, which most places don't, but I didn't care much about it as it was just an extra $.25. But MY dish was a tiny bowl that I couldn't understand why they'd give me a Large chocolate twist with a baby bowl to put it in as I shared it with our youngest. That's where I'd give a 2 star. Was charged for the bowls and one of which I couldn't fathom the fact that it was about the size of a cat bowl. I was a little applaud by that, but it is what it is.The ice cream itself was a 5 star, service was 4 but they were also a little overly friendly as they had a huge tip jar and expected everyone to leave tips, which don't get me wrong I would've but after getting a giant twist and a tiny cat bowl I wasn't happy about it, and prices varied as for the soft serve was well worthy but the sundae was not and for a double scoop was like what $5.It's sad that we ordered ice cream from Stewart's the day before yesterday and I ordered a brownie sundae and it was $5 and it was well worth the money. The guy who made our ice cream was awesome. Our total at Stewart's was maybe $12+/- and our order at this place was like $20.All in all, I wouldn't think we'd go back there, if we do it's definitely NOT worth getting any sundaes or even flurries as I seen someone walk past with a flurry half the size of a flurry from like McDonald's.In general, I say like a 2.5-3 star.

Very popular place for good reasons. I've been coming here for over 40 years. Everything is top notch. Their soft ice cream is the very best and the hard ice cream is awesome with a huge variety of flavors. Their service is excellent and always with a smile.

A favorite stop for our family. The new owner is doing a great job adding new flavors. The staff there is great. Super friendly and of course great ice cream. We also appreciate that there was also at least one dairy free option and usually an exciting flavor.

Disappointed.A group of 10 people. Service was great. Staff very friendly. Product was not goodOne person in group in group got a chocolate milkshake - paid extra for hard ice cream - milkshake was watery and tasted like they didnt get all the soap out last time they washed equipment. It was inedible. He threw it away.Others felt soft ice cream was mediocre. Not a lot of flavor to the ice cream.Very disappointed. Northern lights used to be phenomenal. Hopefully it is better if we stop in the future.

Was a nice place to visit after a hectic day. They were very cheery even after dealing some rather rude patrons. They might need to get a few days off, one of the workers was taping up a coworker. They sadly did not have any sugar free ice cream.

Delicious! The location of Northern Lights is the best thing going for it. Grab a sundae with the kids and head over to arrowhead park for a fun time with the family. Only downside - they only take cash. In this day, it’s so easy (and cleaner!) to take things online. But we’ll still go back as often as we can.

The best spot to go and get ice cream during summer nights in Inlet. One of my favorite spots to go to with the family. You got to go if you are in the area!

This little place has an insane number of summer treats to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for hard ice cream, soft ice cream, sorbet, gelato, milkshakes, or sundaes, Northern Lights is the place to go. It's in the center of Inlet, so you can enjoy your desert by the beach, or in the garden.

Northern Lights Creamery has really really good gelato. the blueberry was superb. The location is great being in the center of the little town so it is a fun place to hang out too.

Arrived to overhear the boy at the counter making rude and unnecessary comments about customers that he was unaware we were listening to. Turn the mic off. Yes, we do have good limbo skills. Brownie Hot-Fudge Sundae lacked both: the brownie, and the hot fudge. The leftover vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and a cherry was disappointing to say the least. Only thing that saved this from a one-star review was the Gone Fishin’ Sundae. Chocolate soft serve with Swedish Fish is a great combo.

Northern Lights is an institution and no vacation to the area is complete with out a visit. The ice cream is always good and the homemade gelato and sorbet is special.

Cute place to grab some good ice cream. I had a scoop of Panda Paws and Campfire S'mores and they were both delicious. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

This is a staple of inlet. We always stop in a few times for ice cream when we're on vacation. Is it cheap? Nah. But its always good and the kids love it.

Huge variety of options to choose from including hard ice cream, soft ice cream, milkshakes, and even gelato. Prices are fair and this is well worth a visit.

Fast service and good variety. My gelato was tasty but full of ice crystals, which made it less enjoyable.

Probably the only place in Inlet that remains basically the same after 50 years, still serving wonderful ice cream treat under that iconic sign!
