The staff here are amazing. When inquiring about purchasing Rats they were extremely helpful, made sure to let us know the next time they would have some in, and that they would put my name down for them. The rats purchased were extremely healthy and well socialized despite being from a store instead of a breeder. Me and my girls are extremely pleased with this location

I typically visit this store when choosing from the few in the area. The fish and animals are typically a but healthier. During this particular visit there was a 50% off sale on fish and hermit crabs. I got 2 new glow fish and a 2 hermit crabs. We wanted 3 hermit crabs and they thought there was 6 in the tank but they could only find 2 so we could only purchase two u fortunately. The girl who helped us was very nice and easy to talk to. I'd say over allit was a good experience. I wish they would have been able to find the other crabs though.

I have taken my dog to pet smart to get groomed twice now and both times were awful. DO NOT WASTE THE MONEY. Pet smart is much more expensive than my normal groomer and do terrible jobs. I paid for the most expensive grooming experience which included EVERYTHING. My dog comes home after almost 4 hours with bald patches on her neck. Her tail was untouched. Her eyes were trimmed as asked and her snout was also untouched. Her ears were also untouched. Her body was trimmed and around her eyes but nothing else was done as asked. Her nails were supposed to be clipped and ground down. They did not grind them as they were left jagged and sharper than before. She is a labradoodle with long straight hair. This is not okay when you pay over $130. She also came home covered in loose hair as if she was not bathed or brushed. Again…. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A HACK JOB!

Great customer service, they helped us get stuff for our new puppy and helped us save some money on the stuff she needed. Honestly they are fantastic here, definitely gonna be back to this store again in the future. Thank you so much for all the help and the service that you offer to new puppy parents, great selection of toys collars and leashes for all sizes.

Store was extremely clean right as soon as the door to the store was unlocked. Which tells me the night crew made sure the store was ready for the next day. Even as a customer you can feel the team spirit. We got my dogs some fourth of july toys cause they deserve them and I also used my rewards points so two bags of july toys cost 7.34. Employees bright eyed and welcoming too.

After being told a simple wash and cut would take between three to three-and-half hours, leaving for roughly 10/15 minutes to find something to do in the area, I got a phone call saying I had to pick up my dog and that they could not provide grooming services for my senior dog. They were apologetic and I was not charged but the whole grooming part of this PetSmart seems quite unprofessional. I was referred to one of the groomers there who is best with senior dogs. While I appreciate the gesture I can’t help but wonder why they will let other groomers accept senior dog clients if they cannot accommodate. I do not live very close so spending all the gas money there and back just to be handed back my dog comically half sheared was disappointing. It’s best to leave dog grooming to the professionals.

My first time taking my puppy in for grooming. I've never really left him and was a bit hesitant. But he was very well taken care of and came out smelling like tangerine! I was so happy I made sure I paid for 2 more appointments in advance.

This was my 2nd visit to have my 2 golden retrievers groomed. The groomers are friendly and cared about my boys. Will be going back in late December.

RuBear was very happy with the choice of treats because he's not a fan of milk bones. I always like how open the store is and how clean they keep it. My beagle Ru loves the toy isle and picking toys from the bottom bins

This place is OK. But. they they have nobody in the isles to give advice about products. It's "every man for himself." But in general, that's the way it is these days in all retail. There is no such thing as "Service with a smile"

First time using the grooming services, and it was a wonderful experience. My 4 month old puppy Lucy was so scared to get her nails trimmed, Tanya was so great with her. We will definitely be back.

I was in the pet smart in Horsehead ny store on 4/30/2022 looking at beta fish. I was very upset on what I seen . I said something to the cashier about how the the fish were living nasty green water and she said that they were changed yesterday. These poor fish its crazy 😳 🤐🤐🤔🤔🤢🤢

We purchased a chameleon not even a month ago. We did everything that was expected from us. He was fine this morning and then all of a sudden passed away. Hearing from other people whom purchased pets from Pet Smart, I have came to a conclusion that they don't know anything about the animals and they are not taken care like they should be. Now my son is distraught because of the chameleon passing away. It must have been sick before purchasing and was not aware of it. I will never ourchase another animal from Pet Smart. Now I hope nothing happens to my other sons bearded dragon.

Few days after buying them they’re filled with mold. I cannot feed these to my slings. I should’ve known better when I went to the store and 1/2 of them we’re already moldy or black.

I bought a bark collar. When the dog barked it was supposed to spray citronella in her face. She's a little dog 5 lb poodle. The first time it sprayed in her face she became sick and threw up several times. I brought the collar back to PetSmart the next day and the exchange was flawless the people there are wonderful. They suggested another collar for me that works with vibration sound and as the last resort shock I will try that collar next thank you everyone at PetSmart. 🙂

I was in the store yesterday to buy a teranium for my son...I recently had surgery and am not allowed to lift over 5lbs..I approached the store manager and explained what I would like to buy and asked if it could be brought up front for me and carried out as well..the manager then explained to me in a very rude manner that they are very busy and under staffed..I then asked her if she would rather I go back outside and order through curbside pickup ..I again explained that I cannot lift over 5lbs her reply was neither can i..only because of disappointment to my 7 yr old did I continue to argue and get the help that we needed...never in my life have I had an experience like that..I actually had to fight in order to purchase something in a store and have a manager be willing to help and understand...very poor customer service!!! That person is in the wrong position and definitely does not know how to deal with people or maybe any situations in general...
