Seems like everything they sell can be purchased cheaper elsewhere. It's one of the only stores you can physically see these items at, but I don't think it's worth the 20% markup against other retailers. I'll window shop here and find it cheaper everywhere else.

Took my boy to buy baseball shoes. They hardly had any thing in his size. Eventually the fella their scanned every shoe till he found one in his size

We went in to look at bikes the two gentlemen in the bike section were a wealth of information! They even prepped the bike and offered a 30 day recheck. Really appreciated the personal assistance.

Came here for softball supplies for my 8 year old daughter. After much confusion a cashier made a page and got my family help. We ended up getting everything we needed. Big thank you to your employees! We will be returning customers!

Was hard to find help when we needed it, had to walk all the way back to the checkout they had maybe 2 other customers in the store? (we are both disabled it's not easy to walk) when we finally found what we wanted a fishing pole, a portable canopy, And a camping percolator we paid for it but for some reason something in the cart on us set off the alarm? Nothing but what we paid for was in there? We pushed the cart through a couple times to show it was the cart not us!!! The girl that checked up out made a big deal of it till she figured it out like we had to be trying to steal something well it turned out that someone put a tag In the cart where you cant see it she didn't let us leave till she found it! Common sense says if everything in the cart was paid for and was verified then we are not stealing anything I was already in pain from not finding anyone around the area we were looking I was just glad to get back in my vehicle so I could get to the campground and rest it was a long drive I will not be going back to this store!!! Not even to return the fishing pole we found to be junk before even using it! I'll just take the loss and trash it my experience was that bad!!! Also prices were very high! And they didn't have things you would expect a sporting goods store to carry. This happened about a month ago.

The website is broken. I can’t change my password as I get a bad admin site. This has been attempted on pc and mac, iPhone and iPad, app and website . Then it gives you an 800# to call to get absolutely nowhere with them. Unfortunate because in store is amazing experience but with what’s going on online is easier. I have a scorecard account and can’t even access it.

Our experience was awesome this evening! Maddy checked us out and a really awesome fella (did catch his name) helped us pick out kayaks. Him and his dad use them to hunt and fish. His expertise made our purchase easy. Thankful for the team here this evening!

I recently visited the Horseheads store. There was a lady named Michelle working. This was her second day working at the store. She was so sweet, and was more than patient with my children playing with the balls. She had some of the best service I've ever had. Great addition to your team. I'll definatly be back.

Was just in the store five minutes ago and passed two different young men, neither of which asked me if I needed help finding anything. None of the employees would speak to me at all and an obese female employee with short dark hair saw me walking towards her, turned and quickly walked away from me. I've never felt so shunned in a sporting goods store before, especially since the store up north had been so nice! This is the worst, most insulting customer service I've ever experienced in my life! I'm so upset. I guess I'll have to take my business elsewhere. :(

Customer service is awful. I returned an item a couple months ago and the 800 number I called said they'd credit my Scorecard with points. When I checked 2 days ago that hadn't happened so I called again. This time the points were added and I was told that I could receive those credits when they swiped my card at the store. But when I tried that I was told I hadn't been given the "rewards" yet, and they couldn't do anything about it. I won't be going back anytime soon.

Definitely a large selection, clean store, the customer service however was really poor. Three employees stood staring into the abyss while we were waiting to check out. (There was no "I'll be right with you" or anything.) The gentleman in the shoe department was basically clueless.
