Great go-to store for general items at a realistic price. I have bought basic household items such as drinking glasses, silverware, laundry baskets, laundry detergent, etc. Grabbing a 2 pack of twinkies and a soda while in line is also a perk since we do not keep sweets in the house.

Wow! The nicest Dollar General I've ever been to. It has a huge selection of everything, the aisles are wide, and there's even some items not at other local DG Stores. My sister found a certain makeup that she's only found at Target before. They have a huge selection of party favors too, which is definitely a plus. I downloaded the app for coupons, and was able to load a bunch to my card. When I got to the register, the keypad wasn't working to enter my number so I politely asked the guy for help and he was able to enter my number so I could get the coupons. Really just a great store.

The store in Highland is clean and the staff are nice. It is easy to spend more $ than you think. Meaning you go in for 1 or 2 items and leave with a cart full.The only down side for me is that they do not stock ethnic hair care products. So if I have to travel to another store elsewhere to get my hair care products, then I might as well get my other items there as well. They need to think about that.

I like the convenience of having these stores close by; much easier than running 5-6 miles further.The only thing I noticed for the new stores going up is that you have to tell the cashier what kind of card you are using instead of simply just sliding your card.

There are TWO BRILLIANT LOVELY WOMEN WHO I HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING. Judi and Dawn. Always greeted with a smile and says hello. These incredible women are hard dedicated workers who soley want to keep the store not only clean but safe for ALL customers. On top of even making sure the customers are happy and enjoying there time shopping. They are learning the ropes so quickly that you may get wip lash lol. They help customers, Keep the environment accessible and make you feel comfortable shopping here. In all of the Dollar generals I've visited, This one BY FAR is the best store I've been too. If you need to shop, Stop by here. You won't regret it.

Very disappointed with my experience i just had. My mom and my niece and I bought some things. The tall older man behind the counter was not the nicest. My mom works in the medical field she tried paying it forward by telling him to give the 10 percent off to the next person in line which wss me. I also work in the medical field and he didnt give me the 10 percent either. Smh I will not go into this store when this man is working on any shift. Whoever hired this guy should be fired. We as essential workers are doing everything we can and this is how we are treated wow!!!!!!

We bought 3 items for our 2 hour drive home upstate we purchased Soda and snacks EVERYTHING was outdated i drank 2 soda out of the 6 pack before i noticed the freshness date was 4 months past. My son opened up the snack he bought and it was soft and stale. And we got home and as my wife was putting the milk in the fridge she noticed the use before date was 11 days ago. Not one not twocbut all three items were bad. Which makes me believe most of what they sell there is all outdated. I can understand maybe a item here and there over time getting mixed up but everything i buy being stale outdated and old i mean thats a bit much.. Wont be going back there get what you pay for in that place. Oh and they obviously dont follow the new plastic bag law in Ulster County cause no fees were added on. Im not complaining but that store isint being ran very well. I give it a year at the most before its shut down.

It was horrible and horrifying!!Employees were not wearing masks and made me feel like I was wrong when I addressed it!!Then a customer got involved and I thought I was going to get hit and nobody who worked there said a thing!!! I will NEVER go in there again

I LIKE TO LOOK AROUND ALTHOUGH I HAVE A LIST. I ALWAYS FIND SOMETHING I NEEDED AND FORGOT ABOUT.I DON'T LIKE BEING FOLLOWED AROUND OR ASKED IF I NEED SOMETHING. IF I CANT FIND SOMETHING I REAALY NEED ILL FIND SOMEONE TO HELP ME.THE CASHER IS SAME PERSON, WHEN I GO THERE. HE IS VERY POLITE AND IS PATIENT WHEN I ASK HIM TO WAIT AS I GET OUT THINGS FROM CART AS I LIKE TO.I FIND GREAT SALE THAT REALLY HELPS WITH MY BUDGET.ANYWAY, I REALLY LIKE DOLLAR GENERAL . Its alright... wish it was a little bit bigger like some of the dollar general stores down in the south but I cant argue with the prices and having a dollar general close by.
