I bought a washing machine in November and I was awe when the delivery guy took my phone and answered the survey himself. He thought I was going to give him a bad review because he took it out the box on the gravel and brought it in the house on the side even though there were clear instructions not to do that. So, I pointed it out to him. He sat on my dryer itwas a mess. Home depot or the delivery company needs to hire people with better customer service. He has no right to take my phone 1st thing and then to DO the survey. That guy should not be trusted in people's house. Who knows what he is doing to older people. I called customer service to complain and the girl who answered laugh led. She told me someone would get back to me within a day am yet to hear from anyone. Be careful everyone.

Been to a lot of Home Depots, but this is the only one where a septenginarian held the keys to the boxcutters and was extremely rude to the woman who wanted to buy them. (Repeatedly asked me not to hit him with my cart when I was over a foot behind him)

Well, it's not like the old days. We're you can ask for help with anything and Get someone who's knowledgeable. There lucky to even point you in the right direction when looking for something. There's times that I walked back and forth got different answers and I got fed up and walked out.

Those who work there need to be more responsible and help find what the customer needs because many times I have gone and they do not want to help but some employees help very well compared to other places, being friendly does not cost anything.

If you go to the windows/millwork department - Markell was a phenomenal help to us. Rare to find these days. He was extremely knowledgeable, articulate, patient and detailed...next level service!!

Usual Home Depot experience with lots of options in the garden and landscaping. 4 stars because the checkout always feels clumsy and slow, plus no Apple Pay. Returns take quite a bit of time.

Home Depot is awesome. It gets 4 stars because I have to drive 20 miles to get to one. They didn't have 100% cotton rope, sucks. I bought a 100 foot garden hose for a great price. Had to wait in line for five minutes, only two registers were open, there were about 8 self check-out kiosks closed, doesn't make any sense. Home Depot has so much great stuff, I can spend all day in this store.

Today's visit was not the best because of the waiting time to get 2 copies of my house keys. I had to ask 2 different staff and wait each time I asked for someone to assist me. Finally, someone was able to make the copies. But I gave it a 4 stars because of the way the staff provided his service with a smile and consideration. I mean, The first staff that requested service for me saw me in another line now, to pay for the keys that I waited for too long to get and called me to ring me up! That's was super nice! By the way they have very nice personalized key models to choose from @ different prices.

The customer service here is poor at best. Ask someone in the lawn and garden department where to get a lawnmower and they'll probably be clueless. The fastest way to find what you're looking for here is to go to the website and find the item location that way.

I actually love this Home Depot. I’m a contractor and go here frequently. The staff is always nice and friendly and helpful. Admittedly, sometimes it can take a minute to find someone free to give you a hand but once you do, they know their stuff. I only had one not perfect experience here and it was that I once had to wait like 30 minutes for my curbside delivery but I used that time to eat my lunch so it wasn’t a big deal. Would recommend to anyone looking to do some in store shopping. Be a little cautious with curbside but aside from that this place is great.

I went in for simple return today at 5:10pm June 7. I meet an associate who I explain that I bought a lock and it was missing the key. He stated get the same item and he will process the exchange. Return to guest service and was hosted by Eileen. She asked why I’m I returning the item. How come wrapper is missing. Where is the key. I said you have item in store missing components. She agreed and kept on question me. Another employee scanned my e receipt to which she said there is no transaction of the item. But never looked at the monitor screen. At 5:40 I grabbed my item and walked and went another location who returned the item with no issue. I strongly feel like this employee Eileen discriminated against me because of the color of my skin and did not want to help me. Her manner of talking to me and her insinuating, I never purchase the item. Me and brother have never experience this. After I showed the item was on the receipt. Maybe a great location but not if you’re colored. Management team reached out and apologize and said I was within my right to return the item. Clear as day discrimination.

Long lines at checkout. Usually only a few registers open. Most self-checkout registers aren’t available or open.Edit- Upgrading from 1 star to 3. Since original post. Last several checkouts have been pretty quick. Stood on a long line once and was surprised that within a few minutes, several cashiers were called to address the long line. Was able to check out in under 5 mins from the back of that long line. Haven’t seen this before. Home Depot Hawthorne -keep up the customer service.

DO NOT BUY appliances from Home Depot in Westchester/Bronx County....We went to Home Depot never thinking we would appliances from them and thought "wow, it was so simple !!"..BE WARE...Their delivery company Temco is a nightmare...They are unprofessional and have no consideration for your time...We wasted 2 separate days with scheduled deliveries and twice they did not deliver....Called over and over.. on hold for 30 minutes at a clip...Lied to by dispatchers and supervisors -- no one knows where and when you are getting a delivery.; Home Depot has no control and is no help....Go with a reputable appliance store...Stay away !!

Lou and George in the paint department are very knowledgeable and willing to help. Ritchie must be a manager because he problem solves and makes sure you're taken care of. Raymond in hardware went above and beyond. Even making key copies for me on his own. Edmund answered my electrical questions and was ready to help me place an online order. Nancy from the window department scheduled a consultation for me and explained the entire process to me. Great experience! Thanks!

Set "My Store" to this store, verified that the item listed online was available in the store. It even had an aisle listed. Associate in the store looked it up in their device and directed me to location as the aisle listed online didn't exist.Item wasn't there. It's still listed as available at the store, online. Another Associate said that if someone brings the item from another store location it will show up online as existing, and that the previous employee wasn't directing me to the specific item I was showing him on my phone, but just generally where those types of items are located.All the associates were pleasant and did their best, but this was disappointing and thoroughly a waste of time. It makes me less likely to use this location in the future.

This is the best home depot in the area by far. It's well stocked and they have the best staff. Simon is the most helpful employee I've ever met in any store. He's knowledgeable and really wants to make a difference during your visit.

In my previous career I was a Retail Manager for 25 years and I know good customer service when I see it. Today I needed to return a Jonathan Y ceiling fan that I purchased in January of this year and unfortunately the motor burnt out. I called the vendor and they instructed me to return it to Home Depot. I absolutely dread returns and reluctantly called Home Depot in Hawthorne. I got Eileen on the phone who assured me she will work with me as I purchased it in good faith. When I arrived I needed to wait around 15 minutes as she was helping the woman before me with an issue. She was trying different methods to assist the woman and pointed out to the customer that they were both getting the same outcome when dialing a specific phone number. The customer left with follow up information and was satisfied. I was impressed by her customer service skills. I introduced myself and Eileen kept her word by returning my ceiling fan. She and the Manager who approved the return simplified my return process and I greatly appreciated it also thanking them in the end. THANK YOU AGAIN EILEEN!

Very friendly customer service. Helpful ppl in the aisles. Love that there is a drive thru Dunkin nearby to grab a joe either before or after my visit. They don’t have as wide a selection as the Yonkers location but usually some research on their app beforehand reveals what’s available. They can also call the Yonkers store to hold for you.

I do not write reviews. However my experience at this Home Depot was exceptional. Juan went out of his way to assist and help with my project needs. He went above and beyond when he did not need to and was so kind. As I was outside, attempting to load my car, Layton came over and went above and beyond to help me secure the items to my roof. These two employees were exceptional and I am grateful for their help. I will now be coming to this Home Depot for all my needs.

Inside waiting on line for my curbside pickup because no one came outside to drop it off. Waited 10 minutes, no phone number to call or any way to reach someone. Why let us make curbside orders if you refuse to fill them?
