Adorable country store/ antique store/ local produce WITH a restaurant in back. Store front has high ceilings with fun things and goodies on display all around you on the left and right and through the center of the store. One can find anything from local honey and handmade soap, to animal fur, towels, knick-knacks and the list goes on. There is produce all the way in the back of the store, vintage boutique upstairs and finally, once you walk through an archway - a cute cafe. Had belgian waffles and a reuben - both absolutely fantastic!

Great farm fresh brunch options in a charming country table dining area. Dogs are welcome which is a great draw for both dog owners dog appreciators. The front of the cafe is a great general store with fresh produce, pastries (the crocodile bread is a local legend) and a few antiques. Personal favorite is the chili and sandwiches but also great are the egg options and salads.

A fun roadside stop. The Lucky Dog Farm Store kept the original shelves and display cases intact. It's a local historic treasure. The inventory is eclectic. I almost always pick up dried fruit or nuts each time I stop in. The fresh food is always good too.

The Lucky Dog is just an awesome place. Bohemian Americana. The fresh cafe menu\serving sizes are so so good. Spaghetti (at the Hamden Hotel) and soup nights (Cafe) are out of this world for little Hamden and surrounding folk. We are so lucky to have such a place. Worth a special trip from ANYWHERE ! Thank you owners and staff. "long may you run".

Great little place for locally sourced eggs, meat & produce, maple syrup, handcrafts & sundries. Also has a small cafe, open until 4 pm.

This place is really special. It's an old fashioned general store with provisions, organic produce, little gifts, vintage clothing, and a cafe! It's well curated and the staff are really nice!

Great place to eat and meet the locals. Cafe was delicious, try the Ashley. Staff was very nice and I was able to purchase outstanding organic farm fresh veggies to take home.

Lucky 🐕 is the best thing happening to in Del Cty. Maybe even in upstate NY. Vintage clothes+stuff, healthy food, grt food in Cafe... I'm a big fan.

Some friends and I drove all the way over to Hamden to have breakfast they've been advertising. Well, guess what? They did Saturday morning breakfast for 3 weeks and abandoned the idea. They just don't seem to be able to make a plan and stick with it.
