Self checkout is not my preference. Tonight when I shopped the only option was to self-check my own groceries - so I left them at the register and went home. I felt terrible for the elderly World War II Veteran in line in front of me. He had never used a self-checkout. He didn't know how to use it and the young person working all three self-checkout Lanes was rude and impatient with this elderly gentleman. He was just asking for help because he didn't know how to use the machine. That was uncalled for- this young employee was so rude to him!😡

The manager Donna is the worst person to work under. If you were thinking about applying to this store, do not. She is so mean and has no sympathy or compassion for her employees. I told her I was going through a rough time and she was anything but nice about it. She doesn’t have the right qualities to be a manager.

I’ve been going to this location for years. The guy at the deli is one of the most miserable human beings I have EVER met and I am appalled at how I was spoken to (yelled at) as a customer. Totally uncalled for. Will absolutely not be coming here again

The appetizer trays I ordered were delicious. I have to say every one raved about the cake and cookie trays. They couldn’t believe my mom Renee Toy got them from Tops. A special Thank you to the manager on duty ( bowling guy) that made sure my order was completed.Everything was ready for pick up! Extremely impressed! Thank You for making my graduation party!

Poor customer service just now by a female manager possibly who knows what she was but she is awful doesn't know how to talk to customers or respond well or able to fix things! Poor customer service when I was picking up my instacart! She had no idea or understanding of what I was explaining to her kept repeating the sane thing 5 times instead of fixing the program and then threw my stuff in cart and hit me! She should not be working with customers!!!!

I've been shopping at this tops location for at least 20 years. I've never met a more kind, knowledgeable & helpful employee. His name is Brian. Unsure of his last name. I stop in every night during the week & again Sat evening, & Brian is ALWAYS here. At least that's how it seems. This may sound corny but I think he needs to be recognized for going above & beyond his job duties. Again this may sound corny but, I have seen so many older customers try to cash out using the self checkout & they have no clue what to do or how to use it. I have seen Brian on numerous occasions swoop in & rescue them from the monsters known as the self checkout registers. It literally almost brought a tear to my eye!!! I told you it was corny, but it was also moving & pretty awesome to see!!! So shout out to you Brian!! If only we had more people like you in this world!!! Give that guy a raise!!!

I recently had a very nice experience at your store from one of your employees. Sharleen went out of her way to help me out with my grocery order!! I was having some difficulty and she recognized me struggling with my order and came and helped me out. The following week I was shopping again and she stopped what she was doing and came and said hello it’s nice to see that there are still employees that take pride in their jobs and provide great customer service, I will continue to shop there knowing employees like Sharleen make my grocery shopping experience so much better. Thanks again for going the extra distance for me!!!

The store is very clean. The displays are nicely laid out. Great sales and the shelves are usually stocked.I have to take one star. The employee's are not the friendliest and there have been several times they are either so deep into their cell phones or in personal conversation with other employees, that I find myself standing there waiting for them to do their jobs.

I am really disappointed in this location. I shop here all the time, so when I called and was told that they open at 5am to 1am that is what I expect.However I arrive and to my surprise a big sign on the door say not open until 6am. How upsetting is this when you work and need to take care of things around your work schedule. HUGE disappointment HUGE.As a business you all need to be on 1 accord people 1 accord.

Needed to stock up on some needed supplies before the winter storm hit. I was extremely impressed with the way the staff handled the inflow of customers. The parking lot was full, all of the carts and baskets were being used. Every check out lane had to be opened due to the amount of customers cashing out. (approx 30+ customers not including self check out) The cashiers were very efficient and quick. 1/19/2019 at 5:16 p.m.

Friendly environment, well stocked and the coupons are very helpful. Gas points really make a difference. Down side is the bottle returns. Not just at this one, I drove to another Tops 18 miles away and their bottle returns were broken also. Wish I could get the gas I spent driving around back. I could of gone to another competitor, but I've shopped at tops since I could remember when I was just a little kid. It's like a family to me.

I left my wallet at home while I was at work. I didn’t realize I left it home until I was in line with a bag of donuts. I walked up to one of the Tops employees working at the time “Karen”. I told her what happened and that I needed to return the donuts. Without hesitation she walks me right up to the cashier and pays for the donuts OUT OF POCKET…. Total class and the donuts were amazing! Thanks Karen, Merry Christmas and happy holidays! You’re the best

Don't go after 9 you will be wandering across the front of the store just to be able to get in. Other than that issue I like this store they always have clearance that is interesting to look at. It has a nice produce department and most of the time the customer service is good. There were a few issues with a few people but the store manager is really good at taking care of problems.

I think friendly is just a fancy work for we don't get in your way. I have never met a friendly person. At any Tops store. Can't complain too much about the products. It's close to home and generally easy in and easy out. No other reason to go out of my way to shop there other than distance.

Tops is a local staple in the Buffalo area. They've been around as long as I can remember, and it's really great to have the opportunity to go to a number of Top's stores throughout the 716. The prices are very good on most items, and the price on more luxury items is absolutely affordable. All of the possible departments you can want are there, and there are a few other things that you can get at a Tops International that might be a little difficult to get at other stores. They do not have a dedicated cheese shop with fancy imported cheese like the other major chain in the area does, but it's OK. I actually don't mind going to multiple stores to get everything I need.

Absolutely the worst grocery store I've ever been in. Dirty, bare shelves, only one cashier and no one to help with flashfood pickup. No manager around to help. I will never shop here again.

This store has great customer service no matter what part of the store you're in. If you need something somebody is always there to help. I have even had help from the cart associates before I go into the store they see that I'm having trouble ambulating and they bring me a motorized cart. even though this store is out of the way for me sometimes this I consider my Tops Markets.

Convenient, close to my house. They have a gas station with a little store on the far end of the parking lot. Sweet to grab a slice of pizza and a 6 pack. Pharmacy always has what I need. Meal deals and other things like buy 2 get 3 free have me coming back.

Employees are very friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked and very easy to find and locate items. They always seem to bring items to the front of the shelves. The gas points are a plus and add up quickly.

Tops is my choice when I'm in a hurry. The store is big enough that they have a good selection of food and other items. I can get in, purchase what I need, and be done. I choose Tops other times for the sales they have going. I really do save at Tops and who doesn't want to save money. Thanks Tops.

This Tops supermarket is well stocked and roomy. The staff and clientele are friendly and courteous. There is plenty of easy parking, a gas station, and there are traffic lights for easy in and out at both the Southwestern Blvd (Route 20) and McKinley Pkwy entrances.

Oh my, this is my favorite Tops. We usually go through the express checkout (not self-checkout) and Chelsea is quick, accurate and a good bagger. The people who staff the Customer Service desk are terrific! It's smaller than some Tops but it has everything we need.

My local Tops on Mckinley in Hamburg is great. Clean, well stocked aisles and helpful staff make my shopping chore a very pleasant experience. Plenty of help finding items is a real plus.I wish all Tops had the work ethic of this store.
