Clean, well organized home improvement store. Lee greeted us with a genuine smile and told us about an upcoming kids' free workshop. He even gave us a recommendation for the best wings in town!

Went to buy two mailboxes but didn’t find the one we wanted on the floor. The associate that helped us went above and beyond to try and find them for us. When he couldn’t, he offered to find similar but slightly more expensive mailboxes and then offered us a discount for the inconvenience. Being a manager in retail I definitely appreciated the phenomenal customer service, I wish I remembered his name to give him credit on this post.

Staff is always helpful and polite. However not sure who's plowing the parking lot this year but it is terrible. Last two times we got snow their parking lot was a mess. I almost fell trudging through the snow. Surrounding parking lots were clear so not sure if Lowe's themselves are responsible for the plowing or if it's a contractor. Either way not good for customers safety.

Tried to return items. Apparently there is a 90 day return policy of which I was not aware. She scanned my items and quickly told me a return would not be possible after 90 days. I asked for a manager as she pointed again to their return policy. Another woman walked over and rudely said she wouldn’t be able to make the return. Finally after she spoke to the manager on the phone she gave me store credit for the items. Not sure why I had to go through all of that to make a simple return. Could have been handled better. Would not recommend Lowe’s.

Josh in appliances was amazing and very helpful when I bought my new dishwasher. Mike in lighting went out of his way to help me find ceiling fans and a light for my kitchen. Lisa at checkout was great and super friendly. This will be my go to store for any of my home needs. Loved it here!

They never answer the phone. I sat on hold 20 min this time before I hung up, 30 min last time and about 30 min the time before that. They put you on hold until you give up. I'm a contractor and sometimes I just need to know if something is in stock before I waste time driving. And I've learned the website is useless as far as inventory

Poor experience asked for help in section 38 as I watched two ladies talk in front of me at the end of the aisle, they bothlooked at me three times. Didn’t want to help until the last minute after they’re done with their conversation.

Go there to pick something up that I called and asked if they had and said they would put it on hold. They tell me I have to be there at 6am. So I go. Guess what they dnt have it and won't give it to me till Friday now. It's not even on sale for black Friday.I am fighting cancer and wanted to get this for my daughter's hence why I called because I can't be in huge crowds. Rude workers and not very knowledgeable.

This place isn't that bad. Often you don't get help when you need it. The pictures attached are an example of what your can expect. The carts are littered about the parking lot and never inside the store. Usually items you need are in stock but not always. The app is never correct for what is really at the store. It's clean. There is never more than 1 register open. It's better than the nearby Home Depot

Came to purchase 15 bags of mulch. Long lines at outdoor checkout with only one register open. Once prepaid, line at drive through to pick up the bags with no one outside for 10 minutes. Once help came out they were very friendly and completed loading quickly.

They didn't have the rv antifreeze I needed to winterize my place. The employee working informed me that Orchard park had 217 gallons, the hamburg store had 2. We were unable to find the 2 gallons. I went to Walmart.

Had a fence installed through this store. Fence materials shoddy and warping slats on gate a little over a year later. Lowe's themselves would not take any responsibility although they contracted both the wood and fence business. Called wood company, a place in Florida who never followed up or got back in touch on the issue. Fence contractor is another matter but the people they hired did a not so great job on the fence, 4 inch gap where gate meets the other side. Where it stands now is the entire gate needs to be rebuilt to look right and not warping inward and it will cost $500 after a so called "new installation." Save yourself the headaches and go through a reputable fence contractor directly, avoid pressure treated wood, warps easily. Lowe's will wash their hands of any issues.

Hamburg location Lowe’s staff- you have come a long way being skeptical and suspicious about people of different race to be friendly, respectful and helpful! We deeply thank you for this amazing change. When I first visited this location, staff members didn’t even show the courtesy to try to understand what I was looking for. I even lost my temper and murmured to myself that maybe I need to shop at a more multicultural places like Amherst. For a while I avoided this place but then started coming back to it as it is close to home. Now I see more friendly staff, providing helpful tips, loading stuff into the suv, help assisting product search and much more. Kudos to everyone and thank you.

Terrible service. Bought a washer and dryer that was delivered, was told that it would be installed, just to double check I called to make sure installation was included. Delivery showed up and refused to install it, didn’t even bother to call a manger and get clarification. He did however tell me I could do just do it myself if I bought a few extra parts, however I had already bought those parts with my order to make sure everything would be ready to install. Guy literally said “nope” to installing it and left. After about an hour and half of having my call transferred, an incredibly rude associate told me they couldn’t install it because they couldn’t get my old dryer out. Guess what, there was no old dryer. Then another equally rude women said they couldn’t install it because of the gas hook up. It’s an electric dryer. Tried to get them to connect me to someone actually in charge and apparently every single one of them was in a meeting, but they swore up and down they’d call me once the meeting was done. No one ever called. I’m doing a lot of remodeling on my new house and Lowe’s cost themselves tens of thousands of dollars on this. Their workers are incompetent and rude. If you have any respect for yourself and your time go literally anywhere else. This store and it’s employees are an absolute microcosm of everything wrong in the world today. They are rude, irresponsible, take zero pride in their work and are an absolute disgrace. SHOP ELSEWHERE.

Every time I have gone to this store, I have wasted at least half of my time. The online inventory is always wrong, and getting even one employee to put effort into finding items is like pulling teeth. Last time I ordered delivery of 100 bricks, and was shorted 4, and of the 96 bricks I did receive, half were chipped or broken. In order to avoid that, I went to the store to pick up myself this time. Supposedly the store had 500 in stock, but literally only 4 bricks existed in the entire store after finally getting an employee to search the entire property. My guess is they were the 4 I was shorted from my original order, so maybe I should have just taken those with me without paying. At least then, I wouldn't have wasted my time driving to this store. How can a store just accidentally lose a pallet of 500 bricks? Store inventory is obviously a huge problem, and employees clearly need better training on how to keep inventory properly.

Lowe's Hamburg, NY has the WORST appliance sales person in existence. I think her name is Robin. Short, thin, red head. She talks way too fast, she's so hyperactive it felt like being hit by a freak tornado. She's not mean, but she is rude. Her communication skills are seriously lacking. She didn't explain the gas line sizes, she just essentially threw a bag at me and walked away. I had to go to Home Depot and let the appliance salesperson there explain to me about gas connection lines. Took 5 seconds and I understood. She tried to talk me out of buying the range I wanted by saying there were only 14 in network and I might not get it. When the computer crashed and Customer service had to figure out how to get me a receipt, the manager said there were more than 14. She should be in stock/inventory. She works fast but I feel her "fast" is what caused the computer issue. She's TOO fast for appliance sales. Customers want their sales person's TIME and not feel rushed, they need things adequately explained, if necessary. They need their sales person to not talk so fast they're barely understood.

Great experience working with Robyn in appliances! Me and my bf are buying out first home and we had a lot of problems initially with getting all of our appliances in, the delivery kept getting delayed because our refrigerator was out of stock. Robyn was the most helpful sales person and actually seems to care about your story. She went above and beyond to find us a new refrigerator, that we loved. Thank you!

I used Lowe’s to have a new front door installed. I had to settle the bill before I could schedule. On the day of my appointment 2 hours after the appointment was set for I received a call stating I still owed money and the appointment was cancelled.When my door was delivered to the house I gave instructions to call me when the door arrived. I never received a call and came home to find the door propped up on the house in the backyard in the rain.The actual installer was awesome and did a great a job but the store itself was pitiful.

We ordered a stove. Was supposed to be delivered yesterday ( a Saturday) they changed our delivery TWICE on Saturday. Were told they would deliver first thing Sunday. Called, changed delivery window to Sunday afternoon. Window passed, no call. Weekend gone. Missed family party. My husband finally called and our window was moved to Monday sometime between 8am and 8pm. Thing is it was changed and nobody called us. This is ridiculous coming from a reputable place like Lowes. Never again.

Worst lowes ever!!! Flooring department has wasted days of my time with vinyl orders are carpet. Spend an hour in store waiting because they said it came in for them not to be able to find said come back next day. Came back next day same thing complete joke and incompetent workers and management. Manager was making a joke of the situation as I’m still waiting!

Do not order wood from Lowe’s in Hamburg! I went to Lowe’s with my truck and trailer at 11:30, went inside and payed for 35 deck boards. The boards were in stock, but there were no carts available to move the wood. I talked to one worker at the service desk about the boards and they offered to load them with the forklift and they would be right out. I’m waiting in the loading zone and an hour goes by and no wood. I walk inside to complain and it was a different worker at the service desk and they didn’t know what was going on. I showed them the receipt and they said oh okay no problem they will be right out. Another 40 mins go by and no wood. I go inside and talk to yet another employee at the service desk and they also didn’t know what was going on. They said oh sorry we will handle that now, i had to stand there and watch them load the wood onto the forklift, then bring it out to my truck, and I then had to unload it on to my trailer. Very unprofessional, wasted my time. I would not consider going back to the Lowe’s of Hamburg for ANYTHING. They didn’t give any sort of compensation or explanation on why it took so long. Unbelievable. I would strongly recommend ordering wood and supply’s from MRD lumber in Bethel PA, instead of wasting your time at Lowe’s.

I don't go to this store often due to previous experiences. Sometimes I find myself hunting for an employee almost as much as I spend searching for the item I came in to buy. But I was in there today and they have an online order pick up kiosk. This stills hit or miss with service but there is alot to buy here
