Hidden gem worth the stop. Very cozy homelike atmosphere with amazing service. If they don’t know your name when you walk in, they will next time! Fresh local food served, with a variety of unique specials. You won’t find another diner like this. My favorite was the biscuits with gravy!

Service was great. I think we had two waitresses help us. Coffee was very good. Extensive breakfast menu and even grits. Decor was 1950s kitchen tables and nicnacks.

We stopped to have a look at this small town cafe and ended up with one of the best meals in a long time. I had the French toast bake stuffed with raisin cookies. I'll attach a photo because you have to see it for yourselves. My wife ordered tomato and gouda soup served with grilled Munster and bacon. This food was a wonderful mix of flavors. We also ordered a side of fresh chips perfectly cooked crisp. We finished with a cup of Harney and Sons tea a high end wonderful tea. We absolutely love thi place and the service. We can't wait to return.

Lots of variations on diner dishes, like Root Vegetable Hash Browns.Parking: Small off the street parking lot, and on the street to.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible, there's 3 or 4 steps to the front door.

The service is great, and the food is spectacular. I had one of the best omelets I’ve ever had here, with really good home fries and some of the best and most unique toast I’ve ever had (a tasty English muffin bread with yummy homemade strawberry jam). If you’re looking for great food in the Finger Lakes, you have to go to New Hall Diner.

New Hall diner is one of our favorite breakfast spots. I like the Bird Feeder. It has a cup of oatmeal, a cup of fruit, one egg, one slice toast. I add a sausage patty sometimes.Good place , nice people. Seating and staffing can be limited at times, causing waits but a good spot.

My favorite area diner. Unexpected gem in a tiny town. Allergy friendly for those with gluten/dairy allergies. Very accommodating. Creative twists on classic diner fare. Farm to table. Locally sourced meats. Homemade jam and baked goods. The “Tam Jam” is the best strawberry jam around!

The food is excellent, but the service is not. We were there for 45 minutes before the "server" took our order, and there were only 3 other people in the diner. She spent most of her time on her phone or chatting with a man on the porch. She literally ignored us. The last time we ate there this was not the case.

This place is amazing! A new favorite definitely! It is small and out of the way, but if you enjoy exploring, wandering, and finding hidden gems, then for sure wander out to Hall, ny. The diner is quaint, clean and cozy. The wait staff is warm, friendly and attentive. We felt welcomed immediately. I had scrambled eggs, pancakes and bacon. Food was delicious and servings hearty. Bacon was crisp--exactly as i had asked for! And there was a continual flow of good coffee. Go. Go this weekend. Ill see you there.

My wife and I were just passing thru and decided to stop for a late breakfast. We came into a chaotic scene of un-organization. We were told to pick any where we liked to sit and waited a good 15 minutes to even get a drink order. Then waited another 20 minutes to get our food order. Then waited another 40 minutes to get our food. We were patient as we saw that the business was busy. But it’s breakfast food…. How long does it possibly take to cook two eggs and some French toast? I think they could improve on efficiency and organization. However the food was good and priced fairly. Just not good enough for the wait.

Probably the best brunch spot I’ve ever been to. The chef has roots in Mexican cuisine so don’t sleep on the chorizo and grits breakfast bowl. It was unreal. Friendly waitstaff too!

Fantastic service and even better food! Do yourself a favor and stop by if you are in the area. Plenty of inventive daily specials in addition to some classics, all well made and locally sourced when possible. There are also a good number of vegetarian and vegan friendly options. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and dedicated to ensuring that we were taken care of. Don't sleep on this place!

It's my second time being at New Hall Diner. I orginally forgot to do a review. Anyways when walking into the front door you were greeted like at your grandparents place. Warm and loving atmosphere. Small place but plenty of tables and chairs to go around. They have there daily specials on a chalk board. The biggest difference that this place than any other ones is they source local foods. From bacon to the eggs. The price is amazing and they do take credit cards. We drove an hour and thirty minutes to get there. Definitely a hidden gem.

Stopped in this diner 2 years ago with a group of Airstream friends. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Have traveled all over the United States and their coffee is the best!! Can't wait for another trip to upstate New York from Georgia. Look forward to visiting the Hall Diner again!!!

Such a delicious experience! The food was wonderful, the portions were sizeable, and the hosts were so welcoming. The restaurant offers gluten free toast and home made items such as hot sauce and jam! Such a little homey gem!

Best pancake you’ll ever eat... Many creative options from the spicy-savory to the sweet, all homemade and served with a smile! Plenty of outdoor seating, good prices, big portions! The french toast bake is always a winner. Highly recommend.

Phenomenal. My wife had the breakfast burrito, I had the french toast bake. Both were excellent. Friendly service. Mix of locals and visitors ... all greeted and served with genuine enthusiasm. Will definitely go back.

Just had a delicious grass fed burger and house chips for lunch. They support several local farms and businesses like rise and shine bread, bostrom farms, bedient farms etc. Everything is fresh like their homemade jams and baked goods. Aside from home fries you can order a root vegetable version or even parsnip fries instead of French fries. So many options you won't be disappointed. The rustic vintage decor really brings back the nostalgia. The staff and owner are very friendly. Highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the area.
