Less expensive than so called "Price Chopper". Yeah they're not chopping any prices anymore. Now they just use their local monopoly to screw everyone right to the wall. Anyway, Hannaford is a better compromise in this economy decent food and somewhat better prices.

Mom asked me to pick up a cheap pie for Christmas dinner. The pie I went to buy had a sign right next to it marked $4.99. There were 2 Pies literally sitting on the sign stand base for the pie. The pie rang up for 14.99. I called them on it and the girl made me feel like an @zz. Told me well they are all priced on the package and this was for the pie 2 shelves down. Well if I knew that I would of picked that pie. Point of a sale sign is that the item is not the regular price as marked, it is on sale. I felt they should of honored what the sign said. Sure seemed like a bait & switch. Definitively a reason I don't shop there! They get 2 stars because the pie was good. Otherwise, they'd get none for their customer service. There was no reason to have an attitude like that.

Hannaford is my goto grocery store since it is only 25 mins away. Sometimes their prices are better tha Walmart (45 mins away) and almost always betrer than Pricechopper. Definitely my first lime of defense.

Greenwich Hannaford doesn't have a "huge" selection in the meat department like other Hannaford stores in the area, but everything is always fresh! The store is always clean and the employees are fantastic!

Hannaford seems to be the last place suffering from covid. Did you use to be able to hand pick your Donuts and rolls by the piece, and now everything is prepackaged and you have to buy too many. The deli will still not give you a sample of the meet you are buying and say it is because of covid? And then there are the prices still far greater than pre-covid pricing. $5 for a quarter of mayonnaise? And scantly stocked shelves. The pasta aisle always looks like they forgot to stock it. So I only use Hannaford at this point for a quick stop and convenience. The other grocery chains are a little further Drive but are definitely far more competitive.

It's expensive, but I'm also from Alabama, so our prices are a lot lower, but overall, it's a pretty good location to shop. And the employees were extra friendly. Lol. That's a break from the New York that I'm use to. So thank you for the experience.

Hannaford is Hannaford but was a little disappointed today. Went for ribs that I could cook for tonight and they only had precooked ribs in the bbq sauce.

Local grocery store with everything one would need. Consistently busy, there generally is never a long wait to get checked out. Curbside pickup is a wonderful feature especially for busy/sick families. The pharmacy is top notch and I have been going to them for years. I just wish the prices were slightly lower, the lack of local competition probably plays into that.

They need to learn how to stock . Bought taco kit, and every shell was broken . They are also notorious for selling expired goods. So check the dates before you purchase.

Very clean and organized. Expiration dates on food are always accurate. Anything they wrap is airtight, so no messes. Staff is very friendly and always offer to help you with your groceries to your car. Definitely worth paying a little more than Walmart.

Very clean and orderly. You almost feel like you are in a Whole Foods, but without the high prices. Never had an issue with the Hannaford brand products either. Always a pleasant shopping experience.

Love this store, really has all you need. I like the layout. Very friendly local feel to this store. I highly recommend. Always enjoy haven't had one bad experience. My ONLY complaint is I never can check my Hannaford app and check my coupons, my phone never works in any Hannaford store. I don't understand.

Staff is friendly, helpful. Prices are average for a grocery store, generally, less than price chopper but, higher than Aldi's. Store is clean, and conveniently located. I can't give 5 stars bc they do not carry specific grocery items that I was searching for.

Great shopping experience, very professional and efficient staff, good quality produce and excellent variety of foods especially at the deli section. If spending few days in the area a solid option for family grocery shopping. The supermarket has also a pharmacy section and allows self checkout.

High Marks for employee Martha, whose speed, care and kindness at the 14-items-or-less checkout yesterday (19 Dec) was a godsend to me and the others in line. Hannaford is indeed fortunate to have her on staff.

Hannaford is a nice place! I can't say for others outside of Greenwich, but it's a wonderful place to be. The people are very sweet and have smiles on their faces, and even with COVID afoot I'm able to have a good time there! The staff have always been pleasant and helpful. They deserve respect!

This isn't the Hannaford I usually go to, because it's a little further away from my house. But it's my favorite Hannaford. It's clean, very well organized and easy to shop in. Whenever I go there, I'm reminded of the friendliness you find in a small town because the customers and the employees have always been so pleasant while I'm there.
