Passed by here on a trip through the finger lakes! Owner was a wonderful woman and greeted me right away with a huge smile! I could walk through her store for hours! I even walked away with a few treasures! She is native to the area and proud of her community! Although I reside in NJ I will surely be back on my next visit up there!

The woman who owns this store was so rude to me and and to another customer. Her behavior was completely unwarranted. I believe this is a place where locals are treated well but if they see you drive in with out of state tags or if they don't know you, its a completely different experience. If you look at other reviews here and on Yelp it seems I am not the only one who has experienced her poor attitude. If you want to browse cute shops with antiques do yourself a favor and head into Greene to Hymn and Hawe or to the Switchblade Shop. Much nicer people and wares.

I love going to Brookside Antiques!!! There are always new treasures to find! The owner and caretaker of the shop does a terrific job with displays and keeping the shop in great shape. I return every couple of months to see what is new and unique...check it out!!! You will not be disappointed!

I've been coming to the Brookside for years. The owner is a terrific person and very helpful. Loads of good finds at reasonable prices. Hours are Wed-Mon 10-5Closed Tues. Happy hunting!
