I recommend going here anytime you may need something for your marine life. 5 months later and everything is still healthy! There's other departments with fishing - hunting supplies! Don't forget your ice cream at the front of the building on your way out

So glad I found this place. They helped me get my saltwater tank set up and even came to my house to install it. The owner and staff are always there to answer questions and support where they can. Purchased saltwater fish, corals, rocks, tank and more there. The selection and knowledge they carry is the best around. Thanks Ellicottville Aquatics.

Went to this store Monday February 5th, 3 days ago. I was amazed at the selection they had and the they had that most pet stores don't. The condition of the cages for the small animal were bad way too many in a cage but I don't own a pet store so I assumed they knew better than me. My boyfriend ended up getting some fish for his community tank that had been running for around 2 months now. He got 5 neon tetras, 4 guppies and 2 gourami's. All of the neon tetras were dead by Tuesday morning, one guppies and one gourami died Wednesday, and I woke up today to find another guppies dead. But all of the other fish that we've had for months are perfectly fine and healthy.I thought this store was great with so many pets I've never seen before and so many fish I didn't know you could own but now looking back I realized this store isn't as great as I thought.

Animals are kept in horrible conditions! Seriously neglected enclosures in fish area as well as small animal area. Most of the animals had no food or water.

Customer service is amazing here. They have anything you might need for exotic pets, including the pets, carry fishing/hunting gear and are opening an indoor range. I prefer coming here over anywhere else. They have necessary knowledge to help ensure we have what we need for all our animals.

The owners a great guy his crew is always friendly and helpful too. The stores always clean. It's funny now walking into the pet spot and smelling the animals 😄 it always hits me when it's warm out then I remind myself what do exspect pets to smell like the cages are clean and well taken care of he always has a varitie of reptiles birds ect. Hes got the gun shop and hunting equipment areas now too. Pet grooming station/services. we only go for freshwater fish theres saltwater too he always has a good selection I wish personally for myself there were more patterned guppies and more snail options always available 🐌 like assassins any of the multiple types of rabbit snails. Ect but like I said he does keep a good variety of fish it's the best place we've found with in reasonable distance 1hr drive from us so when we are up that way it's always our last stop before leaving. He also sells freshwater plants for tanks. !

This place is so bad. The cages were filthy, smelly and way way to small. The bunnys looked unhealthy and the fish tanks were so dirty. The water for some geckos had dirt. They housed tortoises and bearded dragons in the same cage which can be harmful. The things you can buy are not clean, and they are very dusty theyvleave animals on display and let people touch them and stresses them out to much. They leave dirty unused tanks laying around it was so bad

Went to check out the place and maybe discuss a ferret for my daughters birthday. Ended up leaving with the sweetest little cinnamon ferret! I worry about animals so much but the ones here did seem well-caged and had okay habitats. The iguana could've used a bigger cage I think, he was climbing the walls and wasn't enough room to spread out fully. But alot of options, great place for fish and fish tank accessories.

I was truly surprised at his selection of frags and salt and fresh water fish. Prices are very good and he will order you in anything he doesn't have in stock. Frag selection is big and prices are good. Reptile section needs work as while he has a decent stock, it could be kept better. Will be going again.

The best service ever!!!! Super knowledegable, and holy cow the patience the gentleman had answering all my 10 year old's questions about her new bearded dragon and all her fish was impressive. Love taking the nice country drive out to this hidden gem . Also check out the amazing selection of salt water fish!!!!!

Best pet store around hands down, very well organized, very knowledgeable about everything he keeps in stock and amazing customer service. I've very rarely had issues with anything I've bought here and if there was it was quickly resolved. Very honest pricing also, I haven't found a place around that would beat prices for anything I've ever needed. I love going to this store even if I don't have anything to buy !Update: I'm not as impressed as I used to be by this store. I've spent alot of time and money here and have always felt like a valued customer but recently that has changed, with the opening of the outdoor and gun shop inside of the pet store I have seen a major lack of good customer service anymore. I've also noticed care is going more towards the other store than the pet store that I loved for its animal care, which is still good but not the same as it was a year ago. I consider myself a regular here anymore but when I came to them about issues I had with things that I had bought I was not taken care of as I was in the past the issue ended up ignored. I'll still go to this store but im now going to be looking for a new place to do my weekly shopping for my pets unless things change here, I dont want to spend my time and money at a store where I don't feel like a valued customer after at least a year of consistent weekly purchases.

I recently went to this store for the first time. We are currently building up our Salt water tank. My fiance went recently and said that the gentlemen was very knowledgeable. The fish tanks were set up very nicely from what I saw. However I did not personally care for how the rabbits were on display. There was a small hutch with 3-4 adult rabbits in there on wire bottom. There was no hay, maybe in the enclosed end of the hutch. There was not nearly enough space for that many adult rabbits crammed in the hutch. There is a post on their IG page from February 2021 with 8 rabbits in the same looking hutch offering for $10 a piece. No rabbit should be sold for $10 a piece. When they are that price, any person thinks they need one. Rabbits are rather expensive to upkeep with toys, grain, hay, litter, fresh veggies daily and people really need to take the time to educate themselves before buying and not be tempted with an impulsive $10 buy. Also, there was a mama rabbit in a plastic bottom cage. Her babies that I gaged to be about a couple weeks old (if that) were huddled together on the plastic. There was no hay or any other materials in the cage to make a nest or any type of nesting box for he babies. Anyone could have opened that cage and touched the babies. I could only assume its probably stressful for mama to be out in the open with her new babies. There are plenty of rescues in the US, if you want an animal, please check your local rescue first. I am curious as to where you get your small animals that you sell? Maybe you rescue them!? but if you do breed them or support breeders to sell at your business just remember there are more than 700 million domesticated rabbits in the world.

Wife and I drove from Jamestown, NY. He by far the largest selection of coral and fish without making a haul to buffalo or Erie. Very knowledgeable and well mannered. While others try to deter you from owning a saltwater tank, he takes the scare away. Skyler has a Facebook page that he updates frequently with videos and pictures. New inventory every Monday.

I am very disappointed in this place this was my first time coming here. I was supper exited to get my glofish and they died not even 2 hours after being in my tank. I did everything as told they even tested my water and said it was okay. Came home let the bag of fish sit in the tank for 30 minutes as directed and released the fish into my tank. Not even 2 hours later my 4 glofish are all dead. Very happy after I posted this the owner took the time to message me on Facebook and apologized and make things right thank you so much.
