I got my Bishpoo in June at this place. Yes, it is by appointment only. I called and asked if I can come in, and so we did. I immediately fell in love with my fluffy white fur baby the moment I saw him. The guy did seem to rush the process to get us out FAST. So far my fur baby has been with us for 2 months and he’s doing just fine. He eats well, he potty trained pretty fast (by 6months) he’s great with my toddler and I’m happy with him. Overall thank God he’s healthy as can be.

A few weeks ago, my daughter and I returned to this wonderful store where we had first bought a Shuh Tzu Poodle mix 14 years ago. He is a wonderful dog but he is aging and my daughter wished to buy a new one. Willie, the shop attendant, showed us a large group of dogs in a beautifully clean shop. He gave us plenty of time to hold different dogs, see the latest breeds and answered all our questions. We eventually selected a Shuh Tzu Bijohn mix which my daughter named Cooper. Now, Cooper has had all his shots, is having a wonderful time in our new home and we are very pleased. I may have to go back and get another dog. This is a beautiful store with caring staff and a lovely attitude. Many thanks for your contribution to our lives.

I Love my dog! My husband got her here and she has lived up to her name- Joy ❤️ they also microchip her and have a few doses of her vaccinations so that was a plus. I have no complains ❤️

The dogs there are adorable I ended up getting a cavapoo and he’s the most lovable and adorable puppy I’ve ever seen. He was very healthy when I got him and had no problems with him. ❤️

Coming from someone who was extremely firm on rescues, after having a difficult quarter of countless rescue events and puppies being first come first serve and no luck, Empire Puppies gave me the experience and bedside manner I needed. I took home my Claude (Yorkiepoo). I will say that the price online was much less than what was presented in store, but I honestly cannot put a price on how he’s filled our hearts at home. He has a personality like none I’ve ever met before. If we cannot find another fur baby via adoption, I’m 100% going to consider homing another Empire puppy.Considerations: I would’ve liked a follow up from the shop asking if he’s okay/ adjusting well- not necessary but that’s how you create lifers/ build rapport.They should be in possession of the rabies tag versus the hospital they’re affiliated with.Update website- photos, prices, descriptions.First two photos were taken within the first month that we got him (10/2018)The last photo was this past weekend (01/2020)

So far, so great. Our maltipoo is a lovely sweet dog. Smart and so far healthy. He has a great apatite and seemed to be fully trained at 6 months old. I was never going to buy at a store, but it was impossible to find what I needed at a rescue. We are trilled with Cyrus.

Got my Maltese yorkie mix puppy here back in August, he has grown into a very healthy & happy dog and always has been, good customer service lovely selection to choose from, the place is very clean and smells good, everything is in good condition and they let you play with the puppy and watch them play first.Update: it’s been three years already since I got my baby & We’ve never been happier, thank you empire puppies.

They don’t honor their words here and they lie about their dogs' ages, just be aware. Bought a puppy here and turns out by both our PCP Dr. and Petco Clinic Dr. that our puppy is two months older than they claimed to be judging by the teeth he has. They also promised a free physical examination but turns out it’s conditional only if you get your dog’s vaccine at the contracted vet but they never mentioned it’s conditional and rather use it as a selling strategy to make you feel it’s a good deal. You will be better off getting the vaccines at Petco than with the contracted vet.

Terrible Place to buy a Dog. This place will sell you dogs with mental issues and health issues. Do Not buy here. And you have to have an appointment. What puppy store has it's doors locked during working hours everyday, all day and will only let you see a dog through a glass at a certain time. I purchased a dog from here and the dog has serious mental issues.

Our yorkie is almost 1 yr old today. He is the most amazing addition to our family. He was easy to train, is loving and has a beautiful temperament. Although they only sell males which made me feel uncomfortable, the dogs are healthy, vibrant and well groomed. I wouldn’t hesitate getting another one from them. The dogs are the best of all breeds and priced well. I was very skeptical and selective about purchases for my family. This is worth the visit for a family pet.

So let me just start out by saying I went here today to potentially buy a puppy but after reading several very bad reviews I was almost sure I would not leave with one.. well.. was I wrong.. the minute I walked in I found the store to be immaculate.... extremely neat and smelled very clean.. all the dogs seemed happy and well taken care of.. it took me all of a minute to see my puppy and fall in love instantly.. the man that helped us was very informative helpful and patient..he did not make us feel rushed or pressured and also worked with us on the price.. when we decided on our puppy and agreed on the price he took the time to explain everything to us in detail.. the prices I think are very reasonable compared to what I’ve seen elsewhere on the internet.. and they did have a wide variety to choose from.. if you are looking To buy a puppy don’t walk ..run here.. I would HIGHLY recommend it and if I ever am in the market for another puppy this will be my first stop.. I don’t know what all the bad reviews are about as my experience was seemless.. a lot of them say the good reviews are from the owner.. well I can tell you I have nothing to do with the owner and have no knowledge of who he is.. I don’t usually take the time to write reviews but I am writing this one because I had such a great experience and want to let people know that if they are looking to purchase a puppy as I was this is your place!! You will not regret it I promise!!!Just to add an update.. this is my puppy Jax.. nearly 5 months later and he is doing awesome! He’s healthy and happy and our entire family couldn’t be happier!

It wasn't a nice experience. 11 years ago I met my furbaby here. He died in January of this year. So I decided to visit to say thank you for introducing me to my furbaby 11 years ago. The staff was very unwelcoming. Not a friendly vibe at all. I left quickly because it felt so cold.Alot has changed in 11 years.

Do not buy any dogs from this establishment. I got my dog 2 years ago and she has so many problems behavioral and physical. We have to get surgery on her knees which she had since birth and the owners didn't tell us about. She has ear infections every week. She's reactive which is most likely due to genetics. And this place is insanely overpriced. Do yourself a favor and shop ethically by looking for reputable breeders who do health checks and don't keep their puppies in cages. Plus the cost is significantly lower. This place NEEDS to be shut down.

Bought a cockapoo puppy from them in 2010. Wanted to get a new companion and immediately no. Appointments only are a sly way to get you to buy a puppy even if they don’t have the puppy you want. I emailed asking for a specific breed, gender, and color and was told yes they have it and directed to the website. The website didn’t have the color or breed. They told me they do and told me to schedule an appointment. I didn’t want to waste my time going there and them not having what I wanted but feeling pressured to get any puppy so I decided to go to Citipups in manhattan where there’s no appointments and their website matches their in store stock. Prices are more than Empire Puppies but at least I got to walk in, have playtime with the puppies I wanted. I left with TWO of them. Get rid of that ridiculous appointment mess. You’re not doing it to protect from Covid. You’re doing it to lock people into buying a puppy. Sly business model.

i got a dog from this place several months ago . i decided not listen to the reviews and go, i was surprised to see how clean it was and i purchased my new puppy he was 4 months old, After few weeks my puppy began to limp so i called the store and they told me it was normal and as a first time owner i believed him. i went to the vet they recommended and they told me it was normal because he is still growing thats how they walk. Now my puppy is 7 months and he still walks like this, i don't entirely blame the place because i should've listen to the reviews about this place and gone to a different vet . PLEASE LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS AND MAKE BETTER RESEARCH WHEN BUYING YOUR PUPPY. IF YOU CAN DON'T BUY HERE.

Bought 2 dogs from here. One was a gift for a friend and the other for me. The first was a Eskimo poodle, beautiful playful and happy. She is now 7 years old and in excellent health (she was 3 months when I purchased her). Max, a morkie, is my dog. He was also 3 months old and is now 4 years old. He is the love of my life. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. They don't pressure you and the dogs seem happy and healthy. Will definitely go here again!

Nasty attitude of the guy helping us out today! My wife and I are first-time buyers. The employee or owner was rude and turned us away at the door we didn't even know we need an appointment! When Also, the store smells really bad the poor puppies were caged with multiple puppies. My wife got heartbroken and we decided to leave.

This place smells, and they stuff so many dogs in a cage at one time. This place looks frightening. Although I did stop, I'm just to see if they've added the breed I was interested in. I wouldn't purchase a dog there.

We have purchased a French Bulldog from Empire Puppies about 8 years ago. We must said, this puppy is healthy and very smart. It didn’t take us a long time to train him. We remembered how professional and knowledgeable those staffs are in the shop. They provided us so much information for a first time owner. We are thinking getting him a companion these days, will definitely come to you guys.

Soooo I had never thought I would buy from a pet store. I was pleasantly surprised of the cleanliness and professional service. Joseph was cool and I went specifically for the Shis poo that was advertised. He was older than the others. Almost 6 months which made me sad that he has been in the crate since he was 2 months. I took a chance. He checked out healthy. They do provide a vet for you to check out the pup and they are microchip. I still try took him to my own. I named him Bailey. He now lives his best life with his older brother Lucas a Maltipoo. Thanks Empire puppies

Got my Boston Terrier here. Staff was friendly and helpful without giving me the strong sales pitch, which I appreciated. Understanding with my very excited 6 year old. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a dog. Not cheap, but felt very good about the puppy we brought home, and two months later, he is robust and healthy and I don’t second guess the store choice or price at all.

I got my first puppy ( a pug) from this place a few months ago. I had visit many places before settling for empire puppies. I think the price is reasonable. More importantly, it is the staff that truly made me deciding for this place. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Since I was a first timer, I had many questions, and they answered all of them patiently.I also think the place is clean. I didn't notice any odor. I've been back a couple times since my first visit for supplies. I definitely recommend this place.P.S I love my pug! Thank you empire puppies!!!!

I had gotten a Shih tzu.. He Was extremely sick.. And unfortunately had to be put down.. They send you to the vet that they want you to go to.. And of course they're going to give you a good Bill of health. After taking my baby to a different veterinarian's office I found out the truth.. I spent thousands and thousands of dollars trying to help him but to no Avail.. Please do not buy a puppy from them.

I went in just to look and i ended up leaving with a husky. She was gorgeous and i knew i had to have her. Very friendly staff they weren't too pushy with me when i told them i was just looking. One of the workers was very informative he approached me and asked if i was looking for anything in particular. I wasn't, until i saw the husky. Once i did i think i asked just about every question possible about huskies. The gentleman helping me answered every single one of my questions and i finally made my decision of buying the husky. When i went to pay they make you sign some papers and they offer some supplies if you'd like to buy them (I'm a first time dog owner so it definitely was of good help). They told me the puppy also came with its shots up to date and you get a first time free check up at your local vet (pretty cool). The transaction was complete and they handed me my puppy and a blanket and i was off. I even got a certificate showing the husky is a pure breed and the names of her father and mother and their numbers. Over all the place was clean, the dogs looked happy and the staff was excellent and very knowledgable, it was a pleasant experience :)

I am very happy with my English bulldog I bought from empire puppies three months ago. He is very healthy and super cute. This place is clean and neat! the employees there are truly friendly, helpful professional and knowledgeable. I personally didn't have much experience in taking care of it. They are so nice and willing to help when I called back with questions. I would definitely suggest this store to others. thanks to empire puppies:)
