The store is good, clean and stocked very well. The pharmacy service is the worse, however! Pack your patience! You wait forever and they don't seem to care or recognize you've been waiting forever to approach the counter. There's no pick up only line. No one ever answers the phone, too.

Today Wednesday, December 20th I placed an online order. I received a text that my order was ready to let them know when I am on the way. When I clicked I am here it gave me an option of curbside pick up. I selected as for easier convenience. It says once you click it if nobody comes out in 5 minutes to call the store. That’s what I did waited on hold for about another 10 mins. A Indian man answered the phone he never said what his name was. I let him know I was waiting curbside he says the store doesn’t offer curbside and I would have to come inside. I said how could that be if it’s an option online and I am sitting in curbside pickup #2. He says well you have to come in and pay again no I don’t it was already paid for. He says let me check your order and hangs up the phone one me. That frustrated me you have already lied and now you hung up! I now enter the store with my toddler, why I chose curbside. He immediately knew it was me I said why would you hang up he said he didn’t. Again lying. I ask to speak to a manger because at this point I no longer want to deal with you because clearly you do not know what your job is or what the store has to offer. The manger came over I explained the situation to him. He showed no real concern and gave me my order. I asked for the gentleman’s name and its Nomanda the spelling is probably incorrect. But teach your associates all they need to know about the store and that there is a curbside option.

My husband picked up some prescriptions and he needs to come back coz when I called The staff told me that we need to pay and it’s not covered, why didn’t they processed and told my husband we need to pay instead of him going back to the store, what a waste of time 😡and didn’t even mention that they ordered the other medicine, you need to train your staff the proper way to handle this kind of transaction, they need to explain what medicines are ready for pick up and why the other medication is not available as of the moment, the staff shd go above and beyond for customer satisfaction. What you shd have done is let us know the prescription is not covered and we will pay and instead of not completely processing it. Very poor service!!!

They way the older male cashier treats black people should be looked into. Didn't even acknowledge my existence or the other black people in line. When asked question, or asking for bags to carry my items, just pretends I don't exist. Purposely greeting non-black customers happily while making the experience harder and unnecessary for the black ones is horrible.

The retail side of the store is not well stocked and the line is always long. There are never enough people working the registers. However, the experience with the pharmacy makes up for it. The female head pharmacist (whose name I can’t remember at the moment) truly cares and goes above and beyond in assisting customers. After a recent surgery, I appreciated her help in finding my medication at another location when it was out of stock.

This Walgreens has horrible Customer Service! I placed a PHOTO pick up order on line that generated a time the order would be ready which was at 8:50pm. When I arrive at the store I was told that they didn’t have any paper so come back tomorrow!! I needed the PHOTO for the next Morning to bring to my Daughter’s School because she made STUDENT OF THE MONTH so her picture had to be posted up with her BIO about herself the next day! The worker showed no concern that someone had messed up! It was just swept under the rug as if nothing happened! This place disgust me to treat customers this way with no apology for how they handled the order plus the situation knowing their worker handled my order wrong! Don’t waste your time shopping here! The experience was unbelievable!

The store is organized and clean. The staff is friendly, helpful and very approachable. The pharmacists are always ready and willing to answer any questions I might have. They helped me many times with different issues. I’m always grateful for their advice.

This review is solely on the pharmacy manager. She has a HORRENDOUS ATTITUDE. She continuously cut me off as I tried to ask questions regarding my child's prescription. She has poor customer service skills and is absolutely no help. When I told just how horrible her attitude is, she hung up. Disgusting!

We have been going to this Walgreen’s for the past 4 years and I must say that the entire staff is the most friendliest I have ever interacted with. Each person working at this place is cooperative, respectful, and very understanding. I recommend everyone in the Elmont area to shop from this Walgreen’s.

Great customer service with staff that are very engaging; especially the front end staff. The store was well stocked and clean during the visit. Sale items were clearly marked and staff made us aware of sales in the store flyer.

The pharmacy is excellent but Thank God this store is finally getting taken over by Walgreens. The front Staff is rude and disrespectful. Store is unorganized and when you ask someone where something is they refuse to walk and show you they would rather point and say "over there". Credit card machines dont function and constantly have issues, employees take pride in announcing "you card dont work! You have no money!" At the top of they're lungs in a busy store, when simply the machine is clearly broken by the look of the worn out buttons. Never a manager at night only employees who rather see a line 10 people long waiting for 40 mins than to help checkout. I hope Walgreens brings in trainers or they're own staff because customer service like this belongs in a bar not a retail establishment. Sadly the morale and attitude in this store is one of the reasons why elmont keeps the reputation of the way it is.

Very unhealthy and dangerous. They allow homeless people to reside in the store and stockpile mountains of used bottles. It causes a disgusting smell of stale beer the moment you walk into the store. The amount of airborne pathogens being spread is sickening. When I confronted the manager, her response was that she needs the people to complain. I asked her if needs me to tell her as manager that she is providing an unhealthy and unsafe environment for employees and customers by allowing this. It's disgraceful!

The fact that this place is no longer 24/7 is super inconvenient for people around here. It’s even more frustrating having to go to Walgreens because they are 24/7 ( which I don’t even like) because Rite Aid is closed. Not a fan.
