I know and see a lot of people have similar problems as myself with this particular pharmacy. It's always one thing or another, missing meds, waiting for drs script, wrong due dates, excuses. When a due date has already passed by and your told you have to wait more, then you go without meds, it's abuse. I understand the current problems with pill abuse, but when you follow "all" of the rules they set and still have problems getting your medication when you need it, not acceptable. Power trips, swollen heads, misuse of authority. I thought any pharmacy was supposed to help patients, not make things worse. I like the store itself, a little bit of everything and anything you need, the pharmacy not so much. I have already notified my doctor that I will be using another pharmacy for the future. I just had to drive several hours to get a medication for a friend because this pharmacy couldn't fill it after they where notified ahead of time.

I always enjoy shopping at Kinney Drugs. I am comfortable with the friendly staff in pharmacy where I pick up all prescriptions as well as in retail section. They carry such a variet y of items .seasonal( shovels, gloves, space heaters) to decorations for each holiday and for bdays.. and, of course, many food and drink items. **If only they would sell fresh fruit I would be all set. The prices are admittedly high when compared to other stores nearby( tops, dollar store.. but , for me, the convenience is worth it.. staff is great ..friendly and professional( with the exception of the one woman Heidi ..who is cold to me.. not sure what I ever did to offend her🤔.. no worries though .. everyone else makes up for it.

Until recently this store offered delay-free service for prescriptions. However, this last prescription took three visits to retrieve. Something has changed at Kinney’s in E’town…

I had to remove a star...we have gone back to "med not available until" and "partial fills" more than acceptable. There is one woman at the counter...particularly not good in the position as she seems to decide things on her own rather than ask the pharmacist or tech. I went in to grab my mother's biweekly chemo meds the first time and this woman said that she couldnt have them until the next day. I was very confused...3 common meds...none available? I ended up getting the most important one and agreeing to come back the next day for the others. While I was walking out..I realized what they had done (? Who) .They had lumped her brand new meds in with her routine monthly meds..which werent due yet ..and she didnt need. Instead of admitting their error which I am sure they quickly realized ..they had me leave with one and come back again. That was so unprofessional...they just had to tell me what had happened and I would have been fine. Now that I think about it again..they need to be 3 star status until things improve. One lesser thing..this woman who thinks so very highly of herself but has no medical experience has argued with me before over med names, due dates on 30 day months vs 31 day months. I am the consumer..not my place. I usually just turn my face away and speak to the pharmacist...you can tell he feels my pain. Even then she tries to interrupt. Other than those 2 legit complaints I continue to use this pharmacy and not just because of location. Almost everyone else there is nice and helpful..everything is clean and organized and, on my very lazy days, I can do my shopping there. Everything is available except ....my biggy...fresh fruit. But I am sure I will be putting stars back soon.

I love kinney drugs.. the pharmacists and techs both get very busy at times...since there is only one of each but still expected to do more...above and beyond( ex vaccines..which can be a lengthy process..questionnaires..patient monitoring after shot etc. Which takes them away from filling endless scripts.. calling mds for clarification etc.) But they are always so pleasant.. willing to answer questions and do their best to fill your own needs as quickly as possible..
