Mary is always kind with her patients and their owners. I had left the area and came back to find many vets didn't either take new clients or simply were booked out a couple of months when my dog was just diagnosed with Lyme... so I ended up calling this office and they were willing to take my dog in and though its a lot longer distance for me to drive I feel Mary showed her dedication unlike others.You won't be let down seeing Mary she's 100 percent worth your time as well as her staff...

Arrived to pick up meds for 8 am...doors locked and no one answering phone at 8 01 am..saw employees arriving at 805...and 807 am..not impressed...as far as I'm concerned....open at ..8 am....means open at 8 am

Dr. Mary is always honest and fair. She will always tell it like it is and won't sugar coat it. Which I like about her. She's been there from my very first kitty 15 years ago, who had now passed (rip Baxter). To my pup 2 years ago and now my two kittens are recovering from their neuter surgery. She's great. All my pets have always had great care. And emergency care when my Baxter was sick. She's compassionate and knowledgeable.

Been taking my cat here for years ever since I was given her. They had to keep her overnight after doing a spay surgery, lo and behold she already was, but throughout my anxiety, she was perfectly fine. The staff genuinely care about your animals and the redheaded receptionist and older Dr are always so pleasant and kind to our girls.

I personally would not recommend this vet to any of my family or friends. I don’t appreciate the way they treat the animals (pulling out mats of fur instead of using scissors) and their lack of communication and compassion. I was never told the affects of medications used or the reaction my pet would have until after the work was done. Instead of being met with patience and kindness when I asked questions, I was disrespected and called “overdramatic”. I will definitely be looking for service elsewhere.

I took my dog to this vet years ago. I am back in the area and have been looking for a Vet. I now have a new puppy and several questions. I called and the receptionist was VERY rude. She said they WERE taking new clients. My puppy is up to date on his shots. He is NOT sick, but I did hear him cough two times in the last two weeks...I didn't want to seem overly concerned but read that the breed could have trachea problems and I thought it would be a good time to have his first vet visit. She said based on the cough (I think) he wouldn't be allowed there..I said, "Ever, even though his temp is normal, he's eating and drinking, no bladder or bowel problems, and very energetic?" And she said not ever! Unbelievable. This is a 5 month old puppy, that they are turning away...and he's NOT sick!!! I was trying to understand their position and she just said she wasn't going to argue with me...she wasn't even going to consider taking him on as a client...and I don't even know why? If the Vet is anything like the receptionist I feel very sorry for your clients..I question if they really care about your pets. I had to check a star to post..but they get a zero in my book. My puppy is too good for their business.

We have been bringing our dog here since we first got him. Mary is wonderful with him. She is attentive and thorough and has a great sense of humor. The past month our dog has been neutered, injured his leg and been stung by a bee and Limerick has done an excellent job with all of it. They are reliable, professional and I can tell they truly care about the animals. All the staff are excellent and friendly!

This place is amazing. After calling all around Jefferson county and couldn't find anyone taking on new patients I found limerick. I took my cat in for a little snip snip and some shots and I can't tell you how happy I am with this place. From the second I walked in I felt u was leaving my guy in the right hands. Even the call after surgery the woman was very informative and was signing away while she was looking up info for me. You can tell they people gear love their job. I'll go no where else

I called to take my new puppy in for his next set of shots, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival I was greeted with a friendly smile and quick check in. I only waited about 10 minutes before getting into a room. Dr. Mary went over everything that needed to be done, explained a few things about the breed that we chose, also showed us how to care for his ears. She gave us a sample of tick and heart worm medicine. Went over how the microchip works and how to register him. At check out she was extremely busy, but always kept her composure and still detail oriented and friendly. My bill was much less than anticipated as well. I felt more confident with my pup after leaving.

Dr. Mary is the least empathetic person I have ever met. We have been there on a few occasions. However, we shall NEVER return. Took our pet to be assessed and she was critical of us the whole time. Another time we left our dog to be boarded, she put our pet down and told us over voicemail. The latest, we took a pet to be put down. The only reason why we went to Limerick was due to availability and urgency. The whole time she was outrageously insensitive, WORST VET IN THE AREA. Highly dissatisfied with their professionalism. Shame on you Dr. Mary!!!

Limerick Veterinarian clinic is wonderful Dr Mary is so kind and compassionate. She is extremely knowledgeable and is kept up with any concerns I may have with our dog. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. The staff are pleasant and the Veterinarian takes her time to carefully diagnose before providing the right treatment. She will take the time to educate you if you're receptive. One of the best vet clinics in the north country.

I love this place but the last 2 times the wait is ridiculous! I have to rearrange my schedule to be on time so,I shouldn’t have to wait. I show up early as well. People have other appointments to get to and kids to pick up but if you’re waiting for 1 1/2 that can screw everything up!!!

I brought my ten-year-old GSP to see this vet for a second opinion. Her diagnosis was the same as the first that however her care and the way she took time to explain things to me and my husband was phenomenal to us this is a true loving and caring veterinarian reasonably priced I could not say enough about her and her staff. I will definitely be bringing all three of my gsp's for her care

Staff is unprofessional..n rude n rough!!Especially receptionist!!Clinic's policy's Cater to there needs not you or your pets...Upon bringing my kitten home..Ran to litter box...to urinate...seems no litter boxNever seen my kitten urinate so muchReally cruel for a kitten having surgeryI hope he heals God blessAsked to have a spot checked...Instead just gave a unneeded shot instead of taking the time to look was told can't find...I showed vet in two seconds where it was along with did not ask to have nails clipped mustUse dull clips.... cracked his mail on front paw. He's still growing no need for itI was told no longer to bring kitten back because to stressful for them since I was concerned about there policy's n my pet under anesthesia for first time with kitten having breathing issues..I get more empathy from a rockAfter hrs phone service laughed at my situationAfter reading other posts here...I see we were lucky

Unfortunately I had to come here to put my baby down,there wasnt much the could do for our little girl. I get there is a 6 month period that you can't have a new cat and can't reuse or sale the belongings but the carrier I used 2xs n her portable litter box 0xs so I wish they gave me everything back so I could make a memorial shadow box out of her things. But they threw everything out. I had to go back in and ask if I could at least get her name tag. Also I can't believe it cost so much to get our cats ashes.

We have used various vets in our area. This is the best one we have found. We never have an issue getting our pets in an emergency, unlike the last vet we used. Dr. Mary and the staff are amazing and treat you like family. I highly recommend this vet office!

We continue to drive almost an hour and a half to bring our animals here. She will never lie to you to try and force you to spend money unnecessarily. It's like finding an honest mechanic, except the life of your animals is at stake. ☺
