Our sweet 11 year old dog Sunset needed a tumor removed from her ear. We were referred to this hospital, and they were amazing. They assessed her, performed the surgery, and really, truly cared for her. The cost was significantly less than it would have been in NYC, and I believe it was done with more care and compassion. Sunset had her ear removed, and lived for another 2 years. I thank everyone at Delhi for this. We are so grateful for the love and care that this clinic gave to our babydog.Not only is it a beautiful, relaxing drive from NYC, the staff were incredible. Both Sunset and I enjoyed the journey. Great veterinarian. Theyve had my new boy, Tank, going there for a few months and they are always so happy to see him and they help him calm down very well. He gets nervous when people get near his feet and they are always so good to him, treating him like hes their own dog. I love this place. I recommend it to any animal owner.

If I could negative stars I would..This office is ridiculous. Front desk receptionists with poor attritudes, disrespectful tones and dissmissive nonsense. I have been in the veterninary world for over 30 years and would never recommend this place to anyone. The dog went in Thursday 10/12 very sick, vomiting and lethargic. The owners signed the estimate giving permission to do surgery if needed but the dog was sent home to be watched over the weekend instead of doing surgery. The dog was in immense pain, vomiting and did not eat or drink on his own the entire weekend. I advised the owners to syringe small amounts of water into him the entire weekend so that he didn't completely dehydrate. Monday morning before I called to bring the dog in, I had his owner call and request that the xrays be emailed to her from original visit and I looked at the xrays and sent them to be evaluated by a colleague who also agreed that the dog needed surgery on Thursday when he was originally there. I called Monday Morning and advised that the dog had to come in for surgery because he had either a Intussusception or foreign body and needed surgery. I brought the dog to the vet, signed the estimate and gave them my credit card for payment. The dog had surgery Monday afternoon, NOBODY called me after the surgery. I only found out he was out of surgery because I called 10 minutes before 5:00 pm. I picked him up today and not only was the estimate $600 more than what I was told and signed for but when I politely questioned why the surgery wasn't completed last thursday when the dog was originally I was told " If you wanted it done sooner, you should have taken the dog somewhere else". Not the right attitude for a vet. I questioned why the estimate was so much more than quoted and received poor attitude from the vet herself who walked away dissmissing me like I didn't matter. I did say that I was going to pay the bill but I wanted to know why it was well over what I was told by her receptionists on drop off. She spouted Thanks for telling me and walked away. I do NOT recommend!!!

This is the only AH I would recommend. Dr. Burns is absolutely awesome. She is thorough, kind, and explains everything that is going on and in detail as well as suggestions one would never think of. All the vets are great here. The staff is constantly busy, and they do not let it show in their demeanor when they are overloaded. Which is basically every day. They work their arses off. I have never encountered any problems with them and never an attitude. They have taken care of my Autumn Rose for almost 9 years now, and she's doing wonderful. She's a handful and has a lot of health issues, and not once have they made me feel like she was not worth the effort. Ever.I HIGHLY recommend this place to the fullest extent and would give 100 stars if I could.

The prices are fine but the vet herself was very unfriendly. She injected our cat with two shots before she had even spoke a word to us. She manhandled our frightened cat and when we asked her if the cat would be ok for a long drive, she responded with “well she didn’t die on the way here”. I’m not sure how they are with dogs but definitely avoid bringing your cat here.

Love my vet. Been going for years and they treat my dog like my child. Everything explained and nothing done till I say yes after a thorough explanation. My dog is not a dog's dog. So they make arrangements to facilitate our visit. A1 vetinary group. Definitely recommend.

I had used this clinic for many years. Really liked the elderly vet who truly loved and connected to my dogs.My recent experience was horrible, new vet didn’t even speak to my dog or show any connection. Was not friendly and the cost has risen quite a bit.So disappointed because I always used them.I am now using a new vet in the same area who I hope will be okay in the future.

I found this animal hospital when my regular vet could not see my established animal for an emergency and left me without even a recommendation. Delhi Animal Hospital saw my dog for the emergency, on a weekend without being an established patient. This spoke volumes about their level of dedication. I transfered records over and made them my go-to provider. I have used them for routine, emergency and sick care and have never been disappointed. Their rates are super affordable, making it easier for me to afford preventative care (rather than just treatments and routine care). They are gentle with your four-legged family members, it's never been an issue getting in to be seen on a preferred day and the doctors and techs are always happy to help with any of my questions or concerns. The place does get busy - but it's understandable and so worth being patient with. Would recommend to anyone!

Been bringing my fur-babies here for 40 years. I still think the new vet is 'New', lol! Even though it's been quite a few years now . . . But when the practice changed, nothing changed. Still good, caring people from front desk on up.My little old man had his last 8 teeth removed and I am delighted with the care he received! They left a wrap on a leg because he didn't feel like letting them take it off. I love that they chose not to add to his stress for this one thing. We easily distracted him and removed it the next day.They sent him home with antibiotics and something for pain. We got a follow-up call a week later to check on him.Highly recommend!!

I can only speak on the acupuncture services, but I am very pleased they offer complimentary care in addition to traditional veterinary care. My dog is 16, and is usually wiped out the day he gets acupuncture but after he’s mobile and way less stiff. Thank you!

We've been taking our dogs Roscoe and Justice here since they've been puppies.. As time went on, Justice and Roscoe have become increasingly more difficult for them to work with.. The truth be told our pups aren't very social, they love their family and to everyone else they are jerks.. The people in this facility have always accommodated them and their needs, despite the growls and attitudes.. We are very thankful that they treat our pups alot better then our pups treat them

Love these guys!! Always, always there when we call, for any reason. Been taking our "kids" there since 2001. Will always do right by your cat, dog, farm critter, etc. They once walked our CAT outside each day for nearly a week, as a form of therapy, so he'd resume eating. We were about to say goodbye to him. we took him out as a last hurrah, and couldn't believe how spunky he was outside, chasing birds. That was in 2013; he left us in 2018 at 18 years old.They're wonderful here. The best❣️

My daughter had her dog for emergency surgery just the other day. They gave no instructions on how to care after surgery intructions. Today she had to take her beloved dog to another vet cause he was in so much horrible pain. And another emergency surgery. He was filled so much infection now she has to pray that he makes it through the night. They told her if she didn't bring him in he wouldn't be with us. So sad so please rethink before you bring your precious animal there. Please!!!!

We were treated with compassion and professionalism. Our dog had a stomach blockage and we feel that they had taken excellent care of her. The only reason I hadn't given them 5 stars is they dont have any type of payment plans. All payments are due after services are rendered.
