I love this place! As a Wildlife rehabilitator operating NY Wildlife Rescue, I can attest that it truly does take a village, and Pet Supplies Plus understands this! On multiple occasions they have generously donated much needed pet food to NY Wildlife Rescue to assist the willdlife in our care, as well as regularly donating to our local Cortland Community SPCA. They carry more brands than I even knew existed and offer some specifically foods you can't find in other local establishments. They're always running great specials and I've found their regular prices to be fair and competitive.This store has just about anything you could need or need, from practical toys. collars and leashes to swanky rhinestone encrusted items for pets with champagne tastes!They offer full service grooming, mini spa treatments, nail trims and even have a great, 'Do it yourself' dog wash with everything you need to bath your pet, without soaking your bathroom!Of all their attributes though, I have to say I am most impressed by their staff. Everyone I've spoken to, is not only knowledgeable about the products they carry, but about animals in general. It's immediately evident they are genuine animal lovers.I went in one day with my lovable but misbehaved Black Lab Ranger, who was pulling me all over the store and stopped to get some training tips. Ten minutes and one 'Gentle Leader' leash later, that boy was calmly walking beside me like a gentleman!

We had our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel groomed here today. I was greeted by every staff member I saw and of course everyone said hello to Emma. The groomers took their time to make sure she was trimmed just the way we wanted. Their caring and calm demeanor put Emma at ease. She is 9 years old and this was a busy day for her. The standard cut for a CKCS leaves a lot of hair around their feet and their ears quite long. Emma has been in Southern California for 6 years so we wanted the hair trimmed away from her feet so she could navigate in the rain and snow and not pick up every leaf on the sidewalk. They trimmed her perfectly! We will definitely be back.The store itself is spacious clean and well organized. The shelves are well stocked and the selection is expansive. The staff really made me feel welcome. Thank you!

Wonderful pet supply store. Also great pet grooming services here with excellent prices. The lady in the fish department is very smart and friendly. I always learn some thing new from her. Thank you young lady for your excellent customer service and I’m sorry I forgot your name.

Very very disappointed in our local pet supplies plus, $564 dollars taken off my card, first return I was charged the price of the item I was returning on top of the price of item I was returning in the process of the return, which resulted in a total of $564. Which still cleared on my card and hasn’t returned either as well as you got the automatic cat litter box back too. SMFH let’s see if a third day in a row if someone can give me back my $564 please. Shame on you, first time is a mistake but 3 times is a no no…

Dog bath, grooming and nails are great! The groomers are very helpful, patient and caring. The groomers always have a smile and make my pup very content. My pup loves going there. He gets so excited. The pricing is affordable.

Charlotte in the grooming dept did a fantastic job on my Pom, Max. I’m always apprehensive going to a new groomer especially with how complex Poms can be to cut, but she took the time to make sure my guy was perfect. Thank you!!

Was ok for the first time visiting the store. It was a bit pricey for just buying a few items I could of found the same products on Amazon for less price

If I could do lower than 1 star I would because it doesn’t even deserve that. RUDE doesn’t even begin to start to describe the employees there I was working with a wonderful young lady as my partner and I were waiting to get fish after another customer who was still deciding but was there first in that time and while we were bagging our fish Tristan was the employees name was rude to his coworker excessively and to my partner and I because in the time we waited it was now time for them to close. On top of the rude behavior and the excessive attitude from him the employee smelled repulsive of body odor and was hard to be near. I have spent $100s of dollars here in the last month and refuse! To keep going there I’ll drive to PetSmart over this treatment. Management needs a huge revamp aswell as I’ve had issues with Isabella before this in the same week. The owners need to get on top of these situations. As for the young lady beth I believe. That poor girl deserves a raise. She was spoken too so badly by her coworker for being a polite worker and not telling us to hurry when we had been waiting.

Honestly love the selection at this store, and their rewards points system. It's still technically cheaper to get pet supplies at a big box store but this is just a nicer, cleaner, more specialized store to go to for pet needs.

Okay....very friendly staff. Very pleasant. Yet, not the sharpest knives in the drawer....asked for a certain fish....said they didn't carry it....looked at the aquariums and they had it....and left my debit card there, called them to ask if they had it....said no....walked in that same day and lo and behold there it was, on a shelf!!! I was kinda disappointed that they didn't have more animals for sale. The aquarium section seemed small. But I am not complaining. I will definitely keep going here! The cashier asked if I wanted a discount!!!

Clean, bright store and so far shelves are pretty full. Staff is friendly when you are face to face, however, seems no one is around to help. Ive walked out twice when no one wanted to help me with fish. Almost left last night too, but someone finally came back to us. I'm not going to run around searching for help, they saw me walk in and we were the ONLY customers in the store. Too busy taking selfies up front. Unfortunately, most of my visits have been this way. Search for staff or interupt their socialization time. :-(

The dog wash was disgusting. There was no shampoo in any of the 4 bottles and the tubs were full of hair. My pup came out covered in other dogs' hair. And, lastly, the place smelled like poop. Never again.

Didnt know about extra charges and took longer than i was told. Then made a comment they would have to charge a handling charge, and that they weren't there to " babysit" my dog. Then wanted a tip! Yea right! My dogs fur is uneven

I went in to buy a Leopard Gecko but was convinced to buy a Ball Python. The reptile specialist was amazing, she helped me with literally everything I needed to know even though it took me hours to decide what I wanted. Everyone there was great and the animals were well taken care of!

Great place to get your dogs groomed, food or treats for most pets or see all the new pets they have, from ferrets and guinea pigs to lizards and fish, they have the supplies and treatment guides for most pets and the best part is the friendly and helpful staff.
